Lenovo 320-15isk Whitelist remove

Hello, I would like to request BIOS mods for the Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15ISK:

1. Removal of the wireless card whitelist (i have intel 7260hmv card).
2. Unlock of the more advanced option (to tweak them for a bit more performance).
3. Enabling Hackintosh's native power management feature (I don't use Hackintosh or OS X, however I do experiment, so installing Hackintosh is on my to-do list).

[REQUEST] Ideapad 300-15ISK Logo Change

Hi guys. I dumped my BIOS using programmer and the SOIC clip. I tried using InsydeH20EZE tool to change the logo. After the flashing of modded BIOS computer booted but as if there was no boot logo. I got only the Windows Splash Screen. I dont know what i am dong wrong. I also prepared several logos for several resolutions. Reason for that is i found many logos inside the BIOS file and could not decide which one of them the BIOS using as a splash logo. Thank you all in advance.

On my Lenovo B5400 i dumped the data from bios chip with SPI programmer.

With UEFITool the error string "1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the miniPCI network card" can be found within GUID section 79E0EDD7-9D1D-4F41-AE1A-F896169E5216 (LenovoWmaPolicyDxe). Then i extracted the body of PE32 image section.

I tried patching it by myself, but i am not experienced enough.
To be honest, the last time i did some ASM reversing stuff was 10 years ago, and even back then i could only solve Level 2 crackme's.  Rolleyes Dodgy

Hello Everyone,
I have a HP 14k020us that originally came with a 3G Huawei MU736 WWAN Module. In order to upgrade to a 4G module, I bought the Huawei ME906S-158. After replacing, it just WORKED FINE, for few days and than, I got an error message that this module is incompatible with my system, and NEVER WORKED AGAIN. I think the new 4G module is not allowed on my whitelist.
I am not an expert, all I know is that my HP runs an Insyde BIOS version F.21 (03/21/2017).
Can anyone help me remove my Whitelist or somehow include my new LTE card on it?

willing to test bios files for the abit nf m2s that have been modified to support am2+/am3 cpus.
i have a large selection of cpus i can test from am2+ phenom tri/quad /7750 dual core to am3 athlon ii dual/tri/quad and phenom ii dual/tri/quad, and also multiple bios chips i can use Smile

hopefully will help others with boards that have been updated with the abit bios

Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me with unlocking the bios in my computer? It's an Acer AM3450-UR30P running an AMI bios (AMI P01-A4 4/20/2012). I have tried flashing it multiple different times , and it tells me that the bios is Write-Protected... I was just wondering if there is any way around this? because at this point I am clueless and it wont allow me to use either of my graphics cards. Huh Huh Huh

Helloooo,
I have an ASUS N56VZ and I just unlocked bios settings using the AMIBCP
Now I am an ultra-noob so I have some questions
Anything I should know before flashing?
Do I have to change the file extension from N56VZAS.217 to .ROM or .CAP?
What the name of the file should be?
and lastly, can I use EZFlash to flash my bios file or will it brick my pc?

Lenovo B490 Bricked after update BIOS

Hi Everyone...

Need your help regarding my issue with Lenovo B490 Bricked after update BIOS.
The issue before i updated the BIOS was failed to enter Setup and based on my research that BIOS shortcut key is locked by lenovo(altered). 
Here why i was done before the system bricked.
1. I tried to update BIOS to latest one from Lenovo website.
2. New BIOS cannot be installed before i update to advised version. 
3. Download and flash BIOS using MS-DOS, showing flash bar but the result was failed.
4. Restart the system and it couldn't POST.

Symptom: 
- LED Power Button: On While then off, Looping.
- Try to Fn+R: ON more than a second, like 3-5 second, after that On While then off, Looping.
- Minimum POST w.o memory: Beep No Memory.

I suspected the issue w. BIOS Corrupted.

Tried to Recovery BIOS:
1. Download BIOS latest and advised update by lenovo.
2. Recovery using Lenovo.Phoenix.Crysis.Tool 
3. On this point i believed the disk i created was completed and able to use. 
4. Fn+R, LED Flashdisk showing read activity like 3-5 second but it turn off and continuing LED On While then off, Looping.

Based on my finding this system got 3 different BIOS and i also tried used all the BIOS 1 by 1 with result still failed.

Next action: 
Re-flash BIOS using Flasher tools (Ordered online).
I'm still not sure what BIOS file need to flash when the tools arrived, New BIOS / else? (Please suggest)

Seek ur help or for any suggesting for my issue to solved my problem.

Toughbook CF-53mk4 help w BIOS password removal

I have a toughbook I set a BIOS password to and forgot it and need to change it. I can't access windows as forgot the password for it as well.

I purchased a ch314a mini programmer and have dumped a bin of the chip mx25L12873F which gave me the full bios. I then tried to replace the password data in the AMITSeSetup section and in another area I found it. Upon reboot the computer says bad checksum and reverts itself!

Gateway DX4860 BIOS

I did a dumb mistake, I download the BIOD for P02.A2 because I upgraded my processor it flashed and I get the full speed of my processor, but what I did was downloaded the BIOS for a ACER not the Gateway and now my Startup/logo screen say ACER and not my normal Gateway and I didn't make a backup to my original BIOS. If anyone can point me to the Gateway BIOS for the P02.A2 I would be very grateful, Thanks for any help.

Help with dump replacing Bios region

Hi all! I ve a Sony Vaio Laptop, which wont boot, I think is a Bios problem because sometimes its boots (show POST and start windwos after like 5 hours) but most of the time doesnt even show POST (black screen)

The strange think is, once it boot into windows, I can use it perfectly and suspend it, but if I turn it off then Ive the same problem described above.

So, short story long, I managed to save a dump using Ch341 programmer, (verified dump), and also I got a BIOS from official site of Sony (Bios Update).

I will need, if someone can help me, to replace the Bios Region in my Dump with Bios region form Offical BIOS form Sony.

PS: I read a lot but cant figure out how to do the process of replacing BIOS region, if someone is willing to tell me or show me some tutorial It will be very appreciated.

Hi i am new in the forum and dont talk very well english...(i am spanish)

I want to mod the bios to my asus x556uj for install a egpu with a exp gdc beast. I try unlock with AMIBCP 5.02.0031 (is aptio V of ami) and flashing with afuwin64 for aptio v without to much success. Something unlock but no everythin i need.  Later i found post in this web and try myself (without to much success again). I need tolud for memory, pcie link speed set to gen2 (i dont know if i need more i try to activate everythin in user). I try to modify with UEFItool extract as is the setup guid(maybe  FE612B72-203C-47B1-8560-A66D946EB371) with the photo of my bios and Hex editor to find the code. I try to much thins but i dont understand to much and i am affraid to bug my bios.

Asus P5PL2-E Core2 Quad Q6700 Support

Hi Guys,

I have an Asus P5PL2-E motherboard with bios version 1002 (last ever) without Core2 Quad CPU Support
Recently I have found that it is possible to run a Core2 Quad Q6700 on it
So I went for it and bought one
I have installed the Core 2 Quad Q6700 and it completely works and boots into OS.
The problem is the motherboard only detects 3 cores of the cpu instead of all four (both in the bios and os it shows 3 for the number of cores)
and when booting, bios shows: Intel CPU uCode loading error
Is it possible to add full support by adding microcode or doing something else?
