Instructions
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Create bootable USB using Rufus (https://rufus.akeo.ie/)

Select MBR, FAT32 and MS-DOS

Copy contents of this folder (excluding jpegs) to root of USB

Boot USB

Run flash.bat

Done.

Hi, I just register on your website. Are you guys able to guide me in order to unlock my bios advance settings? i am using Lenovo G510 laptop with intel i7 4700MQ with a switchable graphics amd r7 m265 GPU. I don't want to change anything crazy i just wanted to change the:
Pci express graphics setting to Always enanble peg and powerxpress setting to muxed fixed scheme 
because i find many softwares incompatible. But i have never update or did anything crazy with my bios so can you help me go through this process. Thank you in advance

[REQUEST] PLATFORM NAME FIX

Hi All

I have a fujitsu laptop but it seems the "platform name" and the "serial number" has been screwed when I update my bios via windows 10.

Both are just blank.

Is there a way I reflash the bios via my dos key and re-program the platform name and serial number please.

It seems after this bios failure my illuminated keyboard function has failed also.

Hi, I'm new here..
My current WiFi card (Intel N-2230) is a little bit broken. So, I want to change my WiFi card to other card. But, sadly, my laptop's BIOS has a very limited WiFi replacement. I need some experts to "mod" my laptop's BIOS. Big Grin

Help.

Has anyone found a way to make a samsung 1tb 960 nvme show up in bios as a boot drive on an HP z620 with 3.91 bios?

I've loaded windows on the drive without issue using a uefi boot, but can't figure out how to make it a boot drive.

I am having trouble putting in a xeon e5410 in the motherboard ive done the mods too and put it in the correct way but when i put it in the fan cranks up and the bios speaker makes a buzzing noise i have tried different ram modules and still nothing, help would be appreciated  Dodgy

EDIT: I have also tried the unofficial bios from this website from this link still nothing and the pentium i put in it works https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-O...-Microcode

Help! Asus eee 1001px pcie not enough resources (code 12)

Hi!
I'm doing some unintended mods to my Asus EEE 1001PX and I've hit a snag.

I have added usb wifi via an unpopulated connector on the motherboard to free up the pcie from the stock "onboard" wifi. That part is done and working.

I then want to use a mini pci-e parallel port controller so I can use my eprom burner etc.. this is where I have hit a snag.

I got an MCS9901 based serial/parallel controller which has two serial ports and parallel port.

Initially all three devices on the card said no resources available (code 12)

I then went in to the bios and disabled the onboard wifi which used to be in the pcie slot, this made function 0 start working (COM1), though it kept working after I updated the bios which re-enabled onboard wlan which is odd. I disabled onboard wlan again anyway.

I tried disabling the function 0 device and the function 1 device but function 2 still didn't get given resources.

I really only need the parallel port (function 2) to work..

What can I try?

Hello Guys,
currently i am trying to get a hackintosh setup on this notebook and i would like the BIOS to do the following:
Disable the nVidia Graphics card and only use Intels internal one, but i also need to set the memory size of the intel graphics card and maybe some other options, so having the advanced menu visible to change everything would be even better.
Remove WLAN Module Whitelisting, so i can change the Module.

What i have seen so far, i could use the EFI Shell to disable the graphics card if i know the correct offset.
For this i downloaded the files above, extracted them with 7-Zip and was provided with Files that were quite an odd size.
I then executed the "InsydeFlasher.exe" and choose to copy the files elsewhere, which then ended up in the files being exactly 8192KB in size and a valid BIOS File in Phoenix Tools.
I opened it up in Phoenix Tools to get the Dump Folder, found the file called:
FE3542FE-C1D3-4EF8-657C-8048606FF670_1465.ROM


But "uefidump.pl" as a perl script only gave me an error and could not find packages inside the file.
I now believe that maybe the file is encrypted, but then it should not have been possible for Phoenix Tools to open it, right?

I then tried the older BIOS, also linked above, and flashed it via Recovery Mode to get an Downgrade.
The BIOS sadly still looks the same, since i hoped the advanced options were maybe available in the older BIOS.

It would be awesome if someone else could help me out here and tell me which tools to use, because i would like to learn from it and not only get the log out put with the specific value, Thank you. Smile
