Hello everyone,please,is anybode here who can mod bios to recognize a NVME, PCIe SSD like for example; Samsung's 512gb 950 Pro M.2 NVME & PCIe x4? I try,but secure flash don't allow to me i try /gan via afudos with some version(2.20,3.03,3.07,4...etc.)

Hi!
I found an old laptop nx9020 and decided to give it a second life. But I ran into the problem - when I tried to install a Wi-Fi device (Intel PRO WM3B2915ABG), error 104 (white list) appeared. On the forum, I saw a message dated December 4, 2011 with reference to the file HP_nx9020_sp31140_3084F16_no_whitelist.zip. Now this link does not work. Maybe someone can help me, I will be very grateful.

Hi, i've changed my wireless card broadcom and i've bought intel dual band 7260 but my hp mini bios says "unsupported wireless device detected".
My bios is: Hewlett-Packard 308F0 Ver. F.19, 12/01/2010 American Megatrends
I've found the link for the modded bios but the access to the file is restricted

EVGA 790i Ultra 132-CK-NF79 16GB RAM SLI ISSUE

I have an EVGA 790i Ultra 132-CK-NF79 which is meant to have support for only 8GB of RAM, but works absolutely fine with 16GB with the official BIOS P09:

However you CANNOT have more than 10GB of RAM and 2 x Nvidia Graphics Cards in SLI. It will POST and output video to the BIOS screen for a split second, but then panic and auto reset in a loop. Anything 10GB or less works fine.

I flashed it with a more feature heavy modded BIOS from a HP Blackbird 002-01C (:

P07 (811N8P07.BIN) HP SLIC v2.1 & SLP for Windows Activation http://members.iinet.net.au/~michaeldd/H..._v2.1).rar

Still no change to this: it works fine with 16GB of RAM with 1 x Graphics Card, 2 x Graphics Card + >10GB RAM = POST reboot loop.

Any idea what could be causing this and how to override this reboot loop? I'm convinced it would work fine. I am new to BIOS modding but keen to learn so anything I could do to help please let me know.

Hi,

I have do some change for the bios. By update microcode to support the CPU, but end up at error on checksum

My system is using i7 720QM. I want to upgrade it to i7 920XM. CPUID: 0106e5

For the i7 920XM is "SLBLW"

For detail:

i7 720QM "SLBLY"
i7 920XM "SLBLW


The BIOS file is the latest from Dell, and also the microcode file

BIOS Recovery Name Help Needed

Hi all.  I am trying to recover a failed BIOS flash on an Asus X205TA.  I have attempted to use PhoenixTool and UEFItool to help get the recovery boot block name but am having trouble getting it.  Would anyone be able to help out and get the filename for me?  Here is a link to the BIOS files for X205TA (It is not the X205TAW version):

Hi Bios-mods community.
I need some help modding my bios. It would be nice to unlock any hidden menus, but I'm mainly asking for help turning off the temperature sensor located on the motherboard (or lowering the default value). The sensor on my board seems to be broken, its stuck at 85C, and is causing my laptop to shut down constantly (Every half an hour, after what i get a temperature warning while booting). I'm also wondering if undervolting would be possible.

Hello,i would like to upgrade my G56-110SL from a T4500 to a T9600 or T9800 or T8300,but since the Bios has a CPU Whitelist,this upgrade is not possible with a stock bios,is there a way to include one of those processors in the whitelist?Would also be awesome if the wifi cards whitelist could be removed!

Hello,
There is a 1HCN40WW version, named redstone 1, attached.
There is a 1HCN33WW version, named threshold 2 and also attached.
The only available option in the menu is to change secure boot and and enable back flash, that is on ver. 31ww
Could anyone unlock the BIOS please? I'd be very thankful.

Asus PB5W-BTX BIOS flash help required

After a try after try flashig this bios on the board I did jus desoldered it and tried to flash it with my minipro programmer but I found out that this Atmel ic isn't at the supported list (or dunno wich is). So after a little investion guessed that it would be a AT45BCM021 but I had no luck flashing it.

Could any guru help me with it?

Hi there!

My laptop always has the CPU fan 100% since a few days, from turning on until I turn it off. It is not because of the heat (it stays below 50 degrees Celsius), it is not because of the CPU fan (is new, I thought it was because of it, but the previous CPU fan also happened), is well ventilated and cleaned... Maybe it's a faulty thermal sensor?

I don't know what to do, it is a fan of 3 pines so only the BIOS can modify its speed... That's why I thought that maybe a modified BIOS could help me, it's very noisy... 

The exact model WAS HP G72-b30ss. BUT the installed motherboard I think is an HP G62-b85SS, because it says so in the BIOS. (XF219EA#ABE).

Advanced settings in InsydeH20 BIOS.

I want to unlock the advanced tab in my BIOS so I can force windows and my desktop to use my secondery NVIDIA card in order to use desktop recording on Shadowplay.

My Laptop is an Acer Asprie VN7-791
BIOS: V1.10
Rev: 3.7

If this is not enough then this image should be. I couldn't find a V1.10 BIOS download so if you could find that too that would be nice. I forgot to add the prefix sorry.
