Acer Aspire E1-510P

I need help Flashing.
I have here an Acer Aspire E1-510P. running Windows 8 64 bit (if that matters). Once I turn it on, the power light comes on, the fan comes on, but that is all. no screen backlight, no sounds indicating its loading anything. I've taking the machine apart and put it back together, just to confirm that the Screen cord was not loose. I've done the power reset.... ive tried reseating the RAM and HDD.
At this point I believe the Bios may be corrupt.
I've tried to find a version of it that i can use to USB flash, but cannot. not even on the Acer Support page. They only have Bios updates for IN SYSTEM use... which is not an option for me.
If anyone can help me find a Flash it version of this BIOS or a modified one that I can Use with the chip clips, I would be eternally greatful. Thank you.

HP t5740 AHCI request

Hi,
Got this nice thin atom-based client and would like to ask you for an AHCI mod, since here in BIOS all HDDs are presented as IDE devices while there is Intel ICH9M/M-E SATA storage controller.
BIOS is AMI, chip is MXIC 25L8005 = 1Mbyte. If resulting BIOS would be bigger, I could solder bigger flash, if this needed/possible.

The weirdest Bios issue I have ever seen

I'll keep this simple as I can.

I am working on a Toshiba L755(ACPI Bios) for a disabled friend of mine. At first he thought his CMOS Battery was bad because it keep losing the date and time. So, I replaced the battery and figured it was fixed. I booted up this morning and lo and behold, the date and time were messed up again. I booted back into the Bios and starting by changing the time. I set the hour and then, as I was setting the minutes, the date (day) starting ticking up with every second from the time. It would run like this for a while and then I would watch the date reset itself to 01/01/2010. Removing the battery doesn't help and, of course, Toshiba has no jumpers or anything on the MoBo that I can factory reset the bios. My assumption at this point is that the Bios is somehow corrupted but, I need some other opinions before I go and re-flash it as Toshiba is "Notorious" for their Bios updates bricking their computers.

CPU upgrade in Compaq CQ60

I have a Compaq CQ60 laptop that has a T1600 CPU (SLB6J) and I am wondering if the bios will support a T5750 (SLA4D). These CPU's are identical in core & stepping (M0 & 6FD)

Is there an easy way to find if the bios will support the T5750?

Any help appreciated.

I need GPU settings and Fan Control unlock

Recently installed a i7-920XM CPU it was pretty warm, but i cleaned up the CPU and put CoolerMaster Thermal Compound on it...

Is a little bit colder but i want better control over the CPU... idle is now 65°C

Hi guys,
Could you help to unlock this bios? I'd like to have access to advance settings(AMP,CORE MULTI-PROCESSING,FREQUENCY RATIO)? All that good stuff.
my laptop use to have a i3 3110m and i just upgrade it with i5 3320m....but i could not use turbo boost...temps are just fine....so i just want to have some extra settings in bios...maybe that's the trick!

Hello

This is my "new" used laptop.Before i had an older HP and made bios unlock long time ago.But it seems its not that easy on newer computers ,and bios files need to be customly made.So i'm looking here for some help.
Mainly i need to get rid of the whitelist on my bios so i could replace my wireless card ,but if it's not a big trouble.It would be good to get advanced settings as well.
As i read i need to downgrade my bios to flash a custom bios and and these files are needed to make a custom bios

How does a program in Windows 10 know that the motherboard has been replaced?

Hey guys, replaced the motherboard in my P500 IdeaPad, everything works, removed white list and I thought everything was okay. BUT I have one program called ASIST (Nissan Tech) that synchronizes with NissanNorthAmerica for latest info etc. The error I'm getting "This PC's login information is
registered to a different machine". So I backed up my BIOS, downloaded InsydeH2O and changed my UUID to that of which the ASIST program has listed as "it's" machine. I reflashed my BIOS, in the BIOS info the UUID did not change, yet when I run the following command "

wmic path win32_computersystemproduct get uuid

I get the UUID that I flashed, yet the program still doesn't recognize it as the machine it was installed on. My question is, what am I missing, or what is it that I need to do next to get this working?

[Request] Medion P6660 fan profile

So i have Medion Akoya P6660. It's using AMI aptio bios (provided in the attachment).

Is it possible to mod the fan curve ? At stock, it spins the fan right away (or in a matter of minutes after bootup). It's very annoying, because its really not needed (CPU stays below 30 in light workload and idle). 

It would be great, if it started spinning at around 50-55C.

Is it even possible to mod something like that ?

Hi - I wonder if I could possibly have some help regarding the above. I have the above board with the latest bios installed (3002)

I have an intel xeon E5450 installed which boots, but the bios errors with a microcode error which I think is stopping the windows 10 update that I want to do with the error "compareexchange128" is not supported.

I believe the bios needs to be updated with xeon microcode - is this something someone can help with?

Hello,

after unsuccessful search on internet, i am asking someone to unlock or enable overclocking settings for bios on my pc: 

Lenovo thinkcentre edge 72, i5-3470s, nvidia gtx 960 4 gb, crucial ballistix sport 8 gb.

i could not find out the exact info for my motherboard, cpu-z says it is:

Hello,

Im very newbie when it comes to BIOS MODS,i`ve spend some hours on internet and i`ve just find that i can disable my integrated graphics card,enable VX-T (i need to research more).I will let you down below info with my pc and bios version and the file with .rom.
I need to say that yesterday i`ve just update my bios from v1.27 to v1.31.If will not work with v1.31 is any possibility to downgrade to 1.27?
