LENOVO THINKCENTRE EDGE 72

Hello,

after unsuccessful search on internet, i am asking someone to unlock or enable overclocking settings for bios on my pc: 

Lenovo thinkcentre edge 72, i5-3470s, nvidia gtx 960 4 gb, crucial ballistix sport 8 gb.

i could not find out the exact info for my motherboard, cpu-z says it is: 

Manufacturer: Lenovo 
Model: 3484JWG        0B98401 PRO

i really need to squeeze this cpu a bit more.. here is the link to the Bios download from lenovo page:

CPU upgrade in Compaq CQ60

I have a Compaq CQ60 laptop that has a T1600 CPU (SLB6J) and I am wondering if the bios will support a T5750 (SLA4D). These CPU's are identical in core & stepping (M0 & 6FD)

Is there an easy way to find if the bios will support the T5750?

Any help appreciated.

I just got this laptop, and it has the whitelist. The previous owner already updated it to F.20, and i haven't been able to downgrade. Can anybody help me out with this pinnacle? I have posted the HPQflash .exe, as i don't know how to get the BIOS out of it.

Hi all,

I'm facing a new problem about the VN7 series.

I recently bought an ACER VN7-592G-77S2.
Processor is I7-6700HQ so i would be sure to be enable to do virtualization with it.
BIOS is Acer version 1.07 (latest one) : latest bios

What followed was done with BIOS version 1.06 (there) and then re-tested with version 1.07

As the "advanced menu" is hidden, it's impossible for me to toggle the virtualization.
But my problem is something more strange.

So i follow the tutos from Vodek from this forum about the VN7 series : link

I just had to make a more thorough search for point 6 and 7 as it appears that there is no more "intel page" but there is an "i-page" at the same offset :

My problem is that when i tried to do step 13 i got an error refusing to write the new value.
Code:
error : can't set variable using efi 0x000...0008


So i did step 14 in order to knew the default value of variable 0x258, 0x19B, 0x1DC
I got : 0 for the first, 1 for the others.

I also tried to make a report following thread but as i don't have AIDA64, just have a "report.rar" generated.  As newbie, i'm not confident about bios flashing then i just stopped at the first reporting generation.

As i just need virtualization can some guru provide me a mod especially to unlock even the hidden menu (if it's well the "i-page") or at least help me activate this feature i really need in order to work with virtualbox or vmware 64 bit platform ?

Hey there, I found a link on the forum but the file's deleted. I want to install an Intel Dual-Band-AC 7265 miniPCI card, and I got the famous 1802 error. I'm running the BIOS version 1.82. I would appreciate any help.

[REQUEST] ACER LAPTOP 5336

I have an acer aspire 5336-2524 laptop and would like to request someone to unlock the bios to the point where I can leave the cpu fan on constantly. Bit of a back story, I work in a computer repair shop and we recently purchased this laptop from a customer. Well it over heats really bad but I know the cpu fan works. When the laptop turns on the fan spins then doesn't spin anymore after the initial bios post. SO I tried flashing the current bios from the acer website. When the in windows program that flashes the bios is running the fan spins full blast. Other than that the fan never spins, and eventually the cpu his the max temp of what ive found to be 100c. Ive tried many different fan controller programs and they don't even detect the fan so that wont work. This question could be a shot in the dark but I figured its worth a shot, thanks for any help and input its greatly appreciated.

Good day friends.

I have the model of HP DV7 6020ev , and as you can guess , i'm willing to change the wifi card  with the Intel Centrino N 6200 622ANHMW 


The BIOS that i'm wearing at the moment is the official F.1B, downloaded from the site of HP  (  HP official site for BIOS  ) 

I have the exe file of the BIOS downloaded from the above HP site on my Google drive, ready for download  HERE

Is anything that i must know before i'll proceed  to the changing of the mod-bios? Any more information for my model nedeed?

I hope the MOD will work, becase the current wifi card is trash! (5MB/sec transfer!no 5Ghz support)

PS. of course i looked in the forums for an already moded bios for my model , but didn't found anything

PS2. I found at the chamomil repository link here already moded for white list the bios sp55068 like my model use, BUT i'm afraid to use it , because it was for different model than mine. But i dont understand, may different models use same BIOS?

Dell VESA mode 103 conflict.

I have a Dell Dimension E520 running QX6800SLACP @ 3.72GHz. I had a GTX750Ti that was working fine AHCI version.
I installed a sapphire dual BIOS R9-285 ITX O/C video card. Now I can't enter Dell BIOS SETUP due to "Video Mode 103 not supported by this graphics card".
So I either need to get the GPU BIOS to apply VESA mode 103, or change the Dell BIOS VESA mode to ??? Dell model# DM061.
BTW Throttlestop software allows control of voltage and multiplier from Windows on LGA775 with Core2 Extreme CPU. So some settings can be accessed.
