Can anyone unlock the bios for this 3737 model please. Here is the link with the latest bios release for it A07.

Ed: I got to the point where I can see the hidden advanced bios menu in IDA, it contains about 8 other submenus to setup pretty much everything from video to cpu states and so on.
I'm just not skilled enough to enable it.

Hello. Subject notebooks are not accepting any RAM except for the one preinstalled. Might it be whitelisted? If so, can it be removed?
I don't have any camera at hand to snap my bios, but I've uploaded the .bin to Google Drive.

Though my model is technically a TX2114CA, it takes the same BIOS as the generic TX2000: SP39357.exe.

This BIOS has been previously WL-fixed but none of the links work any longer.

The BIOS I seek is not listed on http://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS Sad

A previous poster (TTAV134) provided this info along with his WL-removed version:

I can confirm that above the BIOS link is correct and is working today.

newbie.
I've got an asus k53ta.
i'm trying to do two things.
the first is update the bios from 207 to the current 214. should be simple but of course it's not. the utility for doing this at the asus site says i don't have an asus motherboard it won't run. stupid software, of course i have an asus motherboard inside my asus laptop!
it's an asustek with amd bridge rev.00 and southbridge amd a55/a6om according to cpz software and windows 7 info. its a quad cpu.
I can't follow the dos install routine on this site as it seems to be missing clear instructions for someone like me. I would much rather do it via windows anyway to eliminate any mistakes i might make.
r there any ideas on how i can get the asus software to recognize my asus laptop?
The second issue is i can't get the hdmi to output video; only the sound works. It worked before with this current bios version of 207. I did a new install of windows and all the updates but no there isn't any hdmi video. I have the chipset drivers loaded and it lists the correct video drivers as being there in system info.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Help with adding new WiFi card into BIOS whitelist

Hello Every One,

Having recieved no replies to my earlier Whitelist removal request, I have decided to give it a try my self, however myself being a novice at BIOS Mods, would humbly request your help with it.

Here is how far I have been thus far, using Andys Phoenix tool I open up the downloaded BIOS.rom file for my Toshiba Laptop (Selected No Slic , and allow module modification - Under advanced options), this results in a dump folder which is illustrated in the attached image - The dump folder has a number of .ROM files and another folder called BIOS which contains a lot of files with extension BIOS.

searching through all of the ROM files for my excising WIFI+BT HEX (My current card BCM4313) -
-Current original card: (Broadcom94313 - WiFi + BT) PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_7175144F&REV_01

HEX Search: E4 14 27 47 4F 14 75 71

I have come across a single instance for the HEX string (its a small 7kb .ROM file - Image Attached)
Now my question is - is this where I need to change the HEX value to those of my replacement card -

And if the answer is yes after changing and saving in HEX editor, what are the rest of the steps to compile and upload the moded BIOS (A step by step play out would be most appreciated). When I start with Andys Tool it creates a BIOS-Slic.ROM file (even though I select NO SLIC in advanced options). Is this the moded BIOS I need to flash with? And just how would I get about doing it?

Also one more question - When I check the BIOS information using SIW (Hardware Information Utility) it shows it to be a Toshiba BIOS, Using Andy's tool, opening the downloaded .ROM Bios file reports the BIOS to be EFI Insyde, Reading into some of .ROM files there is a mention of Phoenix a number of times - so which one is it?

The current WiFI Adapter is a Qualcom Atheros AR9485WB-EG.
I want to install intel 6235anhmw

How to reprogram/reflash winbond 25Q32BVSIG / 25X10BVNIG on acer aspire 5755G MB?

Hi Guys,

After giving up with the other thread in MDL forums which I've already mentioned my problem and came to know there is no common fix for it and I've finally decided to go for BIOS chip reprogram/reflash. I've opened my MB case and found these two as shown in below pic.

And the BIOS files I downloaded from Acer site are shown in below figure.

So far I got the above stuff along with my soldering station, hot air gun and other essential electrionics DIY stuff.

I know I've to get a programmer tool and not sure which is cheap and best, If you suggest me one could please find cheap and best one from UK online retailers and paste a link here.

And also please let me know how to start and which chip to flash (as I got two chips), any guides will be much appreciated.

Please Help With A Mod Bios for my laptop. I want to change from RAID to AHCI on HDD setting but this bios doesn't have this option.

Samsung RV520-S02IT unlock request

Hi guys!!!

first of all i have to say sorry for my bad english Smile

So i have a request about unlock bios for my Samsung RV520-S02IT (I3-2310M, GT520M). For strange reason my notebook use ONLY a discrete GPU and i don't have any bios-switch for use integrated GPU of Intel I3-2310M and i can't use nvidia Optimus . In fact, if i want install Intel HD3000 gpu driver, the intel installer says : " System don't have a system requirement for install software"
