I have an ageing Samsung n130 that seems to have its sata2 hdd limited to sata1, making my new ssd almost pointless.

So I tried to update the bios. The Samsung website doesn't seem to offer an update that works and the phoenix website directs me to a paid for program called biosagentplus.

How can I update my bios with either an official samusung/phoenix bios or a modded one. Where would I find the update? Thanks

Hello, I have a few computers that I would like to upgrade the SLIC to 2.1 on.
Here is one of them and I am hoping that this is possible. I have been looking for a couple of months and have not found one already out there.

Hello,
Can Anyone help me find the BIOS MOD for my ASUS G71GX REV 1704.
Every link that I come across says the file no longer exists.

Hey I just wanted to have all my options available in the BIOS. I am not sure if this is at all possible, but if it can be done I will be grateful.

I included a pic of the main page for my basic config. its a pretty straightforward BIOS cant do anything really just visualization and boot menu. I hope to have essentially everything available if at all possible my fsb settings, fan, acphi, ata config, advanced tabs, etc in essence an unlocked BIOS. I am not positive it uses the crc check at boot the hp insisted on implementing nor am I aware of the data in the slic. Again if it can be done thanks if not mah thanks for trying.

A03 was unlocked, Dell locked the advanced settings in A04 but also fixed an important stability issue so the update is needed...

Hello. First post. You really have a nice forum here. :-)
I'm sorry that my first post is a request though, instead of an offer.

I really want to unlock this BIOS. In fact, it shuts down automatically at the (low) temperature of 70c. This makes gaming impossible.

So, can anyone help me with this? The laptop is kind of unknown manufacturer (some greek company called "turbo-x"). But I doubt this stuff matters actually.

I have the BIOS in .ROM format (I don't know the revision):

Sorry but I don't have pics of the BIOS. But the tabs are:

0x70A90 Main (0x28)
0x70F00 Exit (0x2C3)
0x71020 Info (0x2BF)
0x71110 Boot (0x2A1)
0x71340 Security (0x1FE)

Included:
The BIOS .ROM, the .MOD version of it (with the phoenix tool), and the DUMPs!
Also I included the .TXT with the IFR of the file that contains the Setup Utility.
I followed donovan6000 tutorial and it would be nice to be helped from him.
If he can't then I hope that someone else will

I did a lot of work alone however it didn't work out (failed because the tabs are hidden in a different method than conditional jumps in Assembly)

Hello, I bought this Asrock G31M-VS2 and the bios is updated to Version 1.20 (horrible motherboard btw) i'm just thinking if there's anyway to unlock Vcore setting in bios or add it if possible, my CPU is Dual core E5700 3.0GHZ and i can't even overclock it to 3.1GHZ and i think it's all because of the Vcore which is only 1.25v

I would like to request SLIC 2.1 added into this bios

Looking at the old posts, they were back in 2009, so I'm hoping to get a newer bios SLIC'd. Will be donating on successful SLIC on this bios.

hi, i need to add an parallel port card to my fujitsu nh532, the "mini pci-e to pci-e" card adapter that i have fits perfectly in free wwan slot from laptop and now i can connect my pci-e parallel port card, but when i do so the device doesnt work, when i trye to install parallel port driver, he just doesnt recognize any device, the problem should be in software because i have an old toshiba L300 and he recognize the parallel port( i use the wifi card slot for mini pci-e adapter) and all works fine, is the problem in the bios whitelist?
