[REQUEST / HELP] Modify CPU Fan Limits on Notebook Bios

Hello Bios Modding Fans

I need some Help to modify my AMI Bios from my Notebook.

The Problem is, there are only the Basic Settings enabled in the Bios. But i need some Advanced Features.
The CPU more limeted than needed ... 

The FAN startet at 55c to FULL Speed, and the Power is limited to 15W. Thats Crap. 

After reading in this forum i did some Tests. I downloaded the newest Firmware again and opened with 
AMIBCP 5.02.0023 - i opened my "downloaded Bios File" (.bin) and find the right Section

And i changed the TRIP Point 0 form 55c to 71c and the trip Point 1 from 71c to 87c, for the FAN and the Power Limit from 15 to 20.
Then i safed the BIN File.

Now what to do? Starting the Flash BAT File again? (Command is: FPTW64 -F 302_CSM.bin )

Gateway ZX-6971 microcode update?

I can't seem to update my bios on my Gateway ZX-6971 to a later version. Says its not compatible with my older bios. I am currently using bios P01.A2. But can't seem to update to the newer P02.A1. Which supports Ivy bridge? There is also a P11.B0 bios. Not sure what that one is. I was wondering if someone could take a look at them. And see if they might be able to help me get Ivy Bridge support working. I would like to upgrade the cpu.

Hi!
Can someone please remove WiFi whitelist from my HP ProBook 6360B?
Serial number: 2CE1493M1W
Product number: WY546AV#ABU

...I just bought this laptop without wifi module.
In official documentations (https://support.hp.com/my-en/document/c02770047) i found 4 different compatible wifi modules, one of them is "Intel Centrino Advanced-N 62205"
...I bought the "Intel Centrino Advanced-N 62205"
But when i put the wifi module into notebook, it gives me this error: "Wireless module not suportted- Wlan Module ID (702)"

Can someone please make modded bios without wifi whitelist for me? Thanks a lot.

Hello, i want to unlock the Advance Menu for my Acer R3-131T    *windows version: windows 10*

I want to try to use an external GPU but can't cause i need to change some settings in the bios which is only available in the advance menu; so the laptop can detect it.

[REQUEST] Supermicro X8DAH+-F allcore Turbo Mod/ BIOS Unlock

Hello from Germany,
is it possible to boost my two Xeon X5690 to 28x multiplier allcore at turbo?
The cpu's can go to 28x multi but not allcore so it would be nice to have an allcore turbo with 28x multi for little bit more performance.

A BIOS Unlock would be nice too, i hope someone can help me with that. Heart

I got an Supermicro X8DAH+-F with two X5690 watercooled, 84GB ram at 1333MHz triplechannel and a Vega64 liquid.
And i use an 1TB Sabrent Rocket NVMe M.2 that boots windows with Clover bootloader. https://habr.com/ru/post/472224/

The PC runs really smooth and silent, the temps of the board are really good even at fullload or after hours of playing i checked with infrared thermometer.

Lenovo z710 black screen on boot (bricked)

Long story short: I turned off integrated graphics in bios and now the laptop doesn't boot. Black screen is shown, it doesn't load, doesn't enter bios and keyboard isn't working. 
 
Things that I already tried:
1) Removing CMOS battery (also together with ram and SSD). 
2) Flashing the bios via Fn+R. It seems that flashing didn't start. If it's a solution, please provide me with some good instruction. 
3) Rapidly pressing F2, then F9, Enter, F10, Enter. The laptop doesn't load and doesn't enter into BIOS. 
 
The bios was modded. Originally I needed to replace Wi-Fi adapter and it didn't work without removing whitelisting. And then after one month I made this mistake with graphics. 
 
Please help me with fixing it.

Asrock H97 killer, is it hopeless if there's no BCLK options found in AMIBCP?

I want to overclock bclk, but it isn't available in the bios, so I tried using AMIBCP, but it isn't even a hidden option, it's no where to be found, is there no other easy way to do it?
In the user manual it shows that it had a BCLK/PCIE Frequency setting in the bios version L0.26, but I don't think it had ever been released to public, can't find it on it's product page or google.
extra question, what happen if I change dram frequency over 1600MHz in AMIBCP on my 1600MHz locked board? is it dangerous or it won't do anything?
It doesn't look like there's anything interesting I can unlock in my bios from AMIBCP.

Subject: Dell XPS 720. Need to unlock a installed QX9650
i have upgraded the CPU recently upgraded from a Intel Core 2 QX6850 to a QX9650 which seems to run perfectly except that the overclock speed adjustment is locked in the bios. The QX9650 is a unlocked CPU and I have read that it is not supported by the XPS 720 bios or motherboard. I am looking for help in modifying the bios to unlock the QX9650. The motherboard is a Dell OEM BTX board red in color with a Foxconn LS-36 sticker on it. Further research also shows to be manufactured by DFI LANPARTY UT P45-T2RS. The chipset is the NVIDIA nForce 680i chipset based using freestyle Award BIOS IDs from what I gather.  There is also a reference to a Foxconn bios 723F1P14. EVGA also has a 680i motherboard.

Aopen Digital Engine DE65-HA Borked--needs help!

First post for quite some time--not sure if this is the best place to ask questions?


I semi-bricked an Aopen Digital Engine DE65-HA.

It has an AMI eufi bios. What I get is drive seek (on Dvd) or USB--but black screen and no boot. I have tried working with the AMI recovery procedure using a USB stick, and although it enumerates it on first boot, it does not seem to go back to flash drive and do anything

Coincidentally, while I was banging around the interwebs, I found at least one other person did this--like me, he also flashed with the bios for the DE65-HAI (which I now know has differences in configuration--including support for Intel ME 8.x which is why I was messing around with it--Aopen has not patched any of their older bioses.

From this post, I see this other person was skilled enough to remove the bios for reprogramming--and was able to edit a file provided for another (similar) AOpen machine. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/need-bios-to-aopen-mp67-d.35286/

One option--remove the physical bios chip and reprogram which seems beyond my ability. (No bios backup--working when you are tired is always a bad idea!)

Second option seems to be using the clip style reader with CH341A software. Questions:

Are there better or worse sellers of these devices on eBay? 

If I purchase and get the corrupted bios read and dumped, is it possible to have someone walk me through compiling a working bios?

Is there any way to implement the newer version of the Intel Management engine found on the incorrect bios, so that it would be workable on my machine?

(The latest correct bios (v. 1.03) is still available for download, although it is not the complete bios, if the other person who made this mistake was correct.)

What happens with this board is that if I install a 4gb ram memory the board does not work and restarts the pc when trying to start, but if I install a 2gb ram memory the pc works perfectly.

but on this forum I got a post from someone who has an 8gb memory and it worked 

I have 8gb spread over 2 4gb - 4gb (tested and working)
My question is what is an updated bios and what would be 

I don't ask the user why I never enter the forum anymore. I apologize if I posted where I shouldn't have or can't understand because I have a little difficulty with English
