Help needed for a BIOS unlock of a AOD270

$

Hello,
I've got the same problem with the 8GB Video RAM.
Therefore I downloaded that BIOS Mod and followed the instruction of Post #2, which will work! I'd tried several times with no success. I also used 3 different USB Flash drive, no success.

I already had the latest BIOS v. 1.10 on the Acer Aspire One D270 N2800 ZE7, which I run with 4GB RAM. Everything just works fine, I just need more Video RAM to work properly with Windows 10 Pro.

Question: Do I need to disable/unplug the HDD, and/or set the USB as first Boot Device in BIOS upfront?

Thanks for any info which helps to get things done.

HP Z400 Older Bios version

Hello everyone.
I need some help .... I have an HP Z400 with an Intel Xeon X5650 and I have a problem with the Interrupt Remapping function which was disabled by default in the bios because the Intel x58 chipset returned some errors.
I currently have the latest version of the bios HP Version 786G3 v03.61 05/03/2018.
I would like to try to downgrade the bios at my own risk but I only have an old backup of the HP Version 786G3 v03.10 07/09/2010 bios created with Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit v 2.0.
I mistakenly created a ROM file instead of a bin file but I read in this forum:

https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-h...rom-to-bin

that it is sufficient to change the extension and that the problems concern the fact that the bios is capsulated. At this point I can no longer proceed and the bios as it is is not recognized.
I attach the working bin file v03.61 and the non-working bin file v03.10 (rom file renamed).

Can anyone help me?

Thank you.

There is 2 chips on this board and I erased both of them with an eeprom/spi flash writer. I was reading some similar forms and it was said that the second chip contains NOT a bios backup, but some crap that makes the board work, Asus only offers the bios cap file for one of the chips

I know how to edit and convert a cap file to bin its easy, i just need some one with the same board to dump the chip or chips in this case and help me out or provide me with some next level knowledge bought this stupid bios setup Angry

Probook 450 G2 - BIOS unlock RAID option

Hello,
I have a HP Probook 450 G2 on which I'm trying to add 32GB m.2 ssd as a hdd cache using intel rapid storage / intel smart response. In order to activate hdd cache sata mode needs to be changed in bios from AHCI to RAID before caching option becomes available in Intel Rapid Storage Application. My problem is that the only option available in bios is AHCI (no IDE or RAID listed there).
It is possible to modify bios to make RAID option available in BIOS?

[REQUEST] HP Probook 4330S Wifi Whitelist Removal

Hello

I would like to request a non-whitelist BIOS Mod for a HP ProBook 4330S , latest BIOS version is F65 Rev A (sp85527) and can be downloaded
here:-

ftp.ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp85501-86000/sp85527.exe

If this bios is RSA signed, I accept all associated risks - I have a pile of these machines at work , they're going to be thrown out / recycled anyway so if I brick it it won't matter.

Current Wi-Fi Card: Intel Advanced N 6230

I would ideally like to be able to use my Intel Dual Band AC 7260 from my current laptop (VEN 8086 , DEV 08B1 , SUBSYS 40708086)

Looking forward to hearing from you

Thanks!! Big Grin

Hi, I have a Z9PE-D8 WS motherboard build, but it doesn't seem to have NVMe support.  Can I possibly get a mod to include this compatibility?

I have the latest BIOS (which I have flashed) downloaded from ASUS here:

If there's anyting else I need to do or include, I would appreciate any help!
