I have a AO725 which i want to reboot upon power loss, hence i need advanced options.

M.2 Unwhitelisting. I don't mind doing some of the handy work if someone can point me in the right direction on what BIOS type and programs to run. Im hoping to connect my egpu into the slot.

Can anyone help me unlocking hidden options in this BIOS? Currently I have tried to set permissions to user in AMiBCP and save it, but after flashing none of options was available.I upload my work: https://ufile.io/j58h1 (Old BIOS (untouched, New BIOS with my changes). What should I do more? It is something connected with Recovery which is flashing against my attempts?

Hi, I recently got a toshiba SATELLITE L670-1JP from a friend and i would like to know if it will accept my Core i7 640M from my other computer Toshiba L650-1CH, i already ask you and you replied me a year ago hat it will work with all arrendale cpu (Toshiba L650-1CH). It's almost the same computer, with the same GPU but the board is different so i'm asking you.
 
I didn't find the bios on toshiba website, product is discontinued and download section can't find this laptop (also for the L650-1CH, good job toshiba for old computers...)

Current processor is i5-480M Processor and i want to upgrade with my I7 640M.
GPU is :  AMD HD 5650
 
I hope you can reply with that information, i've to replace all the thermal paste in this computer because it's overheating, too dangerous to power it for a too long time ( and my friend who give me the laptop never oppened it so i'm 99.9% sure it's dust and completly dry thermal past).
 I don't have a lot thermal paste left so I could only use the rest for the I7 640M and not be able to apply it to both (if you confirm that it is compatible)

[Request] .bin bios file for AORUS X470 Ultra Gaming (bricked)

Hey all,

I've AORUS Gigabyte x470 Ultra Gaming. After flashing the bios from bios setup via Qflash using a USB stick, the PC won't post anymore and it won't even enter the bios. So, I bought the CH341A programmer with hope to erase the bios from the bios chip and reprogram it with F3G the latest one. But when I try to open the F3G files downloaded from Gigabyte website it say it can read the file due the format differ (I have no idea).

I really ask for help if someone could provide me the .bin bios for my mobo. Thanks so much and appreciate for any kind of help.

Hello.
I need to unlock advanced settings (to pre-allocate 96 mb in dvmt) and remove wi-fi white list.

Laptop model: Lenovo YOGA3 PRO 1370

Attached is that I used SPI-programmer+SOIC8 to read the bios chip content.

Hello !

At June 2018 i've buyed a PCSpecialist laptop (Here complete specifications : https://www.pcspecialist.fr/configuratio...2UqsN!z2U/)

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 - 4 Go de RAM vidéo GDDR5 - DirectX® 12.1
250 Go SAMSUNG 970 EVO M.2, PCIe NVMe (jusqu'à 3400 Mo/R, 1500 Mo/W)
Clevo N870EJ1 based model
APITO 5 BIOS ! (12Mb eprom flash)

1) Try to unlock the bios via forced flashing (on windows) -> FAIL -> laptop bricked
2) Buying a spi programmer and try to flash the 12mb file on the chip -> FAIL, data disagreement (data difference between chip and fail)
3) Push my search far away -> it's appear to be missing serial number, mac adresse and other personnal data in the bios chip and in the bios file
4) Try to find how to add this information to my bios file : Nothing found about clevo.
5) Serial number and other information are writed on the mother board, i can give you pics.

So i've writed a mail to clevo and then ask me more than 600€ to change the mother board for a bios chip problem :| my bios chip is not damaged, i'm just wondering what i need to write on it to make my laptop boot again.

I don't have any bios backup, shame on me.

Anyone have a better solution ? Or know a way to push serial number and other information on the bios file ? i'll try to fash it and hope it will work.
Note : I'm ready to make a good donation to anyone help me to solve this issue, this laptop cost me more than 1080€ it's a beautiful brick now.

Never buy clevo, it's fully locked, bad sound system, bad screen, poor keyboard, that's why clevo computers are cheap ...
Note 2: I've already unlock an apito 4 bios to overclock my 4720HQ, it's worked with a cpu microcode downgrade, up to 4.4ghz now on a locked cpu, i was just wondering if i was able to unlock my 8700H.

My 4720HQ perform better on single core than my 8700H ... i really regret to buy this laptop ... only the 2 more core get me a better performance.. Intel kidding us.

Question : If i buy the exaclty same laptop and dump the bios with my spi programmer for flashing on my other laptop, can it work ?

Greetings everyone, I'd like to request help to mod the following model if possible, please.

Id like to dual boot it with WinOS 7 and/or WinOS 10 and also to upgrade multiple components such as, CPU, SSD, WLAN, TV Tuner, RAM etc, and id like to gain advantage of the full unlocked BIOS, if possible of course, and no whitelist, to be able to be more flexible in what hardware to buy, but before I go ahead and purchase required components id like to know if above mentioned BIOS can be unlocked, because current BIOS mod for the Pavilion dv5 1000 series that is posted out there online by TTAV134, does NOT unlock the BIOS on my model, and any other link that I found are simply dead to try them out.

I am new to this, please advise if I need to do something else in order to achieve the mod, testing or what ever is necessary, thank you.

PS. I've already repartitioned the HDD and installed dual booth win7 and 10 and I never had any issues, maybe because first I made sure before that to update the EEPROM with correct information to support win7 like it would have been factory made instead of Vista, I don't know for sure, but I never encountered issues on that, yet id like to upgrade the hardware components mentioned above.

Now if I lets say by miracle brick my device, does it really require that factory HP_RECOVERY partition that came with windows Vista?
I have the Recovery Discs to rebuild back the HDD like factory if necessary, but I doubt its needed?
Because I tested the BIOS by TTAV134 both from win7 installation and also the win+B option to flash at boot and it worked with out issues, it just doesn't really unlock the BIOS, picture attached shows what has changed, the rest of the tabs are similar like other dv5-1000 series devices.

Hello all,

I am relativity new to the BIOS mod scene but want to know about a few things.

I have plans to install a dual-boot with MAC OS X and determined that i need a different wireless card. Naturally the card would be blocked, so i would need to bypass that whitelist.

I also have plans to use the m.2 slot for an external video card card using something like the EXP GDC Beast v9.5. Do you guys know if there is a block on the m.2 slot as well?

I know i will also need a SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip. I don't have this as of yet, before i buy i want to make sure that what i'm looking for can be done.

Sorry if i am missing any information regarding the laptop. If needed i'll get it ASAP.

I know that there is biosguard/rpp/rsa's to get around to mod an hp bios. Is there any progress on any of that? Id pay someone to help mod my bios, but tbh I first wanna know if its even possible, or if anyone has done it? Or if its just a pipe dream to have unlocked menus.
