[Unknown] Pegatron b70 motherboard AMI bios

Hello, this is my first post. 

I have a unbranded laptop. The motherboard is pegatron b70 and the bios is AMI 504, thats the only information that i could get. Im trying to se if i can update my bios because im trying to use a EXP GDC BEAST external gpu and seems that i have a bios block.

If anyone can help me here, I would appreciate it very much.

Hello, can anyone please unlock my BIOS in my notebook, Lenovo G500?
Also if there is some whitelist and it is possible to remove it and safe, then can it be removed as well, please?

I am using Windows 10 64-Bit.
Though, this notebook is specifed for Windows 8.1.

I want to take look on Intel SpeedStep, maybe later External GPU.

I think I never did some BIOS modifications installation or something like that, so can I get some simple instructions please or some link to the instructions?

When I launch this setup it says I have the same one:

I tried myself with AMIBCP, but cant Flash it with "SuperDoctor5" tool. (Checksum Incorrect?)

Hi bios-mods community!

I'd first like to point out that yes I've see the thread where it's explained, that the Dell optiplex 3010 supports the xeon e3-1240 but does it support more types of xeons? Like the 1220, 1230 or the v2 series of those same xeons? Same question actually relates to the HP compaq pro 6300, do those actually support xeon processors or isn't there any support for those cpu's? I know there's no "official" support stated on Dell's and HP's websites, but maybe you guys can help me find out.

I need to unlock advanced settings (to pre-allocate 96 mb in dvmt) and remove wi-fi white list.

Laptop model: Lenovo YOGA3 PRO 1370

Attached is that I used SPI-programmer+SOIC8 to read the bios chip content.

Hello !

At June 2018 i've buyed a PCSpecialist laptop (Here complete specifications : https://www.pcspecialist.fr/configuratio...2UqsN!z2U/)

APITO 5 BIOS ! (12Mb eprom flash)

1) Try to unlock the bios via forced flashing (on windows) -> FAIL -> laptop bricked
2) Buying a spi programmer and try to flash the 12mb file on the chip -> FAIL, data disagreement (data difference between chip and fail)
3) Push my search far away -> it's appear to be missing serial number, mac adresse and other personnal data in the bios chip and in the bios file
4) Try to find how to add this information to my bios file : Nothing found about clevo.
5) Serial number and other information are writed on the mother board, i can give you pics.

So i've writed a mail to clevo and then ask me more than 600€ to change the mother board for a bios chip problem :| my bios chip is not damaged, i'm just wondering what i need to write on it to make my laptop boot again.

I don't have any bios backup, shame on me.

Anyone have a better solution ? Or know a way to push serial number and other information on the bios file ? i'll try to fash it and hope it will work.
Note : I'm ready to make a good donation to anyone help me to solve this issue, this laptop cost me more than 1080€ it's a beautiful brick now.

Never buy clevo, it's fully locked, bad sound system, bad screen, poor keyboard, so clevo was Ship.
Note 2: I've already unlock an apito 4 bios to overclock my 4720HQ, it's worked with a cpu microcode downgrade, up to 4.4ghz now on a locked cpu, i was just wondering if i was able to unlock my 8700H.

My 4720HQ perform better on single core than my 8700H ... i really regret to buy this laptop ... only the 2 more core get me a better performance.. Intel kidding us.

Making a windows 98 rig with the motherboard out of one of these & figured I'd use this socket 775 board with an agp 9550 as the gpu.
but i don't know what processors the motherboard supports with the latest bios, not really written if they increased the cpu support or no
flashed the newest one in there via the floppy image on their page as i had a disk laying around & had a floppy installed already.
Current processor is a pentium 4 520, hoping too get support for a celeron 450 or a pentium dualcore e2180 in it.
Should be a copy of the floppy here, no password on this zip file & it's an award bios, but didn't get further then opening it & seeing its some unsupported stuff in awdbedit in the bios format & that i can't view it in that program.

Greetings everyone, I'd like to request help to mod the following model if possible, please.

Id like to dual boot it with WinOS 7 and/or WinOS 10 and also to upgrade multiple components such as, CPU, SSD, WLAN, TV Tuner, RAM etc, and id like to gain advantage of the full unlocked BIOS, if possible of course, and no whitelist, to be able to be more flexible in what hardware to buy, but before I go ahead and purchase required components id like to know if above mentioned BIOS can be unlocked, because current BIOS mod for the Pavilion dv5 1000 series that is posted out there online by TTAV134, does NOT unlock the BIOS on my model, and any other link that I found are simply dead to try them out.

I am new to this, please advise if I need to do something else in order to achieve the mod, testing or what ever is necessary, thank you.

PS. I've already repartitioned the HDD and installed dual booth win7 and 10 and I never had any issues, maybe because first I made sure before that to update the EEPROM with correct information to support win7 like it would have been factory made instead of Vista, I don't know for sure, but I never encountered issues on that, yet id like to upgrade the hardware components mentioned above.

Now if I lets say by miracle brick my device, does it really require that factory HP_RECOVERY partition that came with windows Vista?
I have the Recovery Discs to rebuild back the HDD like factory if necessary, but I doubt its needed?
Because I tested the BIOS by TTAV134 both from win7 installation and also the win+B option to flash at boot and it worked with out issues, it just doesn't really unlock the BIOS, picture attached shows what has changed, the rest of the tabs are similar like other dv5-1000 series devices.

Dell Inspiron 7566 Help needed

Dear Forum members,
I'm newbie in this bios modding things. I have Dell 7566 which is very slow compared to other laptops that has exactly same CPU, RAM & GPU [Lenovo Y700], even in benchmarks, I can see that my RAM performance is way lower than expected. I have changed my RAM but still performance is slow as this laptop sees my RAM speed as 2133 although it is 2400mhz, still Benchmarks shows that RAM performance is lower than expected.
is there any way to unlock more bios options, any way to make this laptop able to recognize higher RAM speeds. Is there any way to tweak it to perform better.
please help me.

Hello.

The summer of 2018 would start off with my laptop suddenly dying Sad

After googling around i bought the CH341A from Ebay.
I have the ch341 flasher tool and i've tried to make a .bin file out of the .fd files but without any luck.

I use GNU/Linux and flashrom.

The hardware is: Acer Aspire E5-575-36UV NX.GE6ED.050

The laptop won't turn the display on at all. I have tried every method to fash it with the FN+ESC option, formated the USB in FAT16 and FAT32 and renamed files or just use the default names of the files that i've extracted from the BIOS downloaded from Acer website. It simply does not work.

HP g62 b26er BIOS with WL problem

Good afternoon! 
There is a laptop HP g62 b26er. I found the BIOS firmware on your site with no White List. (sp521980_NWL_AHCI_Graphics_By_Camiloml). I did a firmware update through Windows. After the update, everything works, but when I change the hardware configuration, for example, I insert a new external video card through PCIe, the laptop does not work and the BIOS does not boot. I am doing a BIOS recovery. The normal and unlocked BIOS versions are the same (v F.47). What am I doing wrong?
