Hello everybody, I bought a used Acer predator triton 700 on ebay but it arrived with a bad and non original version of the BIOS that doesn`t allow me to install the drivers for the GTX 1080, can anybody tell me where to find the original BIOS and how to install it? please answer, I`m really desperate, If anybody can help quickly to fix it I can pay for that, It's really urgent
The version of BIOS on it is now V0.06wmi3
With this version Windows keeps crashing, and it's slow.. the drivers for gtx 1080 are not woroking, i tried nvidia and acer drivers.

recently i got a lenovo t440s with svp bios password,i reprogrammed MEC1633L,bios password was cleaned succefully,but i got invalid messages
how can i solve this?

Super Micro X7DCA-L unsupported GPUs (Pheonix)

Greetings all. 

The Super Micro X7DCA-L is a server/workstation board from super micro that would be a great budget choice, if not for one big problem: 

This board refuses to work with almost every graphics card. Regardless of what your primary adapter is set to, very annoying. I did do some searching around and found that a bios update made it support SOME Graphics cards, but barely any. 

It has a pci-e 16x slot, it should just work for things such as the gtx 750 I think. Would some modder here please have a look?

Can someone help me figure out how to remove the whitelist for WIFI so I can use the WIFI cards listed below.  I would also like to remove the whitelist for CPU, it won't boot with Arendale i5-580M only its stock B940M processor

Hi All,

just registered and asking for help.

I'm building a retro rig, with dual Xeon MP SL79V (I just like the idea to run these 4MB L3 cache mammoths for year 1998-2005 games). The motherboard is ASUS PP-DLW. BIOS is AMI. Motherboard runs these CPUs, but only at 800 Mhz.
The latest BIOS can be downloaded here:

Possible donor BIOS could be Supermicro X5DPE-G2,

Comaring two bios updates from a manufacturer

Hello Guys,

recently I have tried to figure out the difference between two bios updates from ASUS. I've tried to compare them on a few ways but non of them were effective. Basically I want to know whas has changed, as on the website It's written only "Update thermal policy" and I have my suspictions.

So:
I tried to use hex editor and winmerge, but from that I could only assume - okay - quite a lot has changed.
I Opened both files in separate AMIBCP v4.53 instances, and after about one hour of comparing, going line by line, I just found one difference which was the description of an update version.

And here is my question, Is there any way I can compare it a little bit more accurate?

Some basic info:
OS: Win 10 64bit,
Bios updates: Asus N551JM v204 vs v205.

Ahoj
Mám Lenovo G780 a pred posledným som nahrali BIOS mod pre odomknutie WAN karty. Mam dualnu GPU jedna integrovaná v CPU a druhu NVDIA Pokúsil som sa nastaviť môj počítač tak, aby používal hlavný GPU NVDIA a nie Intel. V tomto prípade som nastavil procesor Intel GPU na vypnutie systému BIOS, pretože počítač nefunguje a ja som sa pokúsil skrátiť batériu BIOS, ale nič nepomohlo.
Máš nejaký nápad?

Bios help, I'm stuck

So, I believe that I have Award BIOSversion F5. I can't confirm due to my current predicament. I had selected "Load optimized Bios options" or something similar to that. Then I rebooted, and now I'm stuck. On reboot, I get a flash of the bios logo picture (the one where it gives options like pressing "del" for the main bios options). No matter what key I press, I can't seem to get it to go into the bios. 

Then it loads a page that says:

And, I wait several hundred seconds (even half an hour), with just a flashing _ . I cant type anything or seem to get any response. The 23 doesn't count down, and my keyboard worked fine before. I've disconnected and reconnected it to no avail.

If I could simply get back to the BIOS menu, I could undo my optimized option.

Currently running Windows 10, though I don't know if that applies to this situation

I flashed a modded BIOS on a Lenovo L440 yesterday. The original BIOS was by Dudu2002. For some reason, even after disabling the Security Chip in BIOS, the laptop continues to beep when I turn it on. I have tried loading all the default settings in BIOS, removed the CMOS battery for 30 minutes but nothing seems to work. The other thing I noticed that after flashing the modded BIOS, I lost the ability to set Time/Date in BIOS. This option was available when using unmodded BIOS. Did anyone with the L440 laptop face this issue by any chance?
