Appreciated if anyone can help to have Slic 2.1 BIOS for following, i would like to install Windows 7. 

Manufacture: Lenovo
Model: ThinkPad T460s
Current BIOS Version: 1.33
Motherboard: Lenovo

Hello!
I spend several days for a searching updated bios, or simple way to update it by myself. Suddenly my searching was failed. Looks like this forum my last hope, to force my laptop show a maximum performance.

Can someone make the FX 8350 supportedon the ASUS M5A78L-M LX3 board? It keeps saying that the CPU is not supported, but hilariously enough it works to some extend normally.

Does someone have a modded BIOS around?

Strange bios for a slightly older laptop, just wondering if anyone can unlock it, can't seem to find the original bios online anywhere or am i doomed to be stuck with my stock bios? The System SKU seems to match several Acer laptops is it possible to cross flash a bios? Mainly looking for overclocking settings if possible

Hi. Can anyone help me please to remove whitelist from this bios dump?  I tried it myself with UEFITool, but I don't get it work.  I flashed several times, but no chance to get it work.

I want to install a Huawei LTE-Module (ME909s-120) and a new WLAN Card (633ANHWM - Intel 6300)

Hi, I'm new here, but not a n00b. I'll try to follow the instructions here.

I want to upgrade my WiFi card and bought an Intel 3160. After installing it I ran into the 'Unsupported Device' roadblock, which took me by surprise. It's an old machine, but after replacing the battery twice and the HDD at least once, the big, beautiful screen still looks great. I dual boot Arch Linux (which I prefer) and Win7 (which I use when necessary).

I don't know what is meant by 'Screenshot of your current setup menus', so I will attach a screenie of msinfo32.exe output. Anything else needed I'll be glad to provide. Thanks in advance.

Unlocking the R0100J4 BIOS

Hello,

This post contains an unlocked R0100J4 BIOS image, which can be found at the bottom of this post.

I have unlocked the hidden INTEL Menu, which contains a vast plethora of interesting settings, such as AHCI and VT-x (hardware virtualization). I have also added a few unlinked keyboard settings to the beginning of the Advanced Menu.

Since Sony did not release an official BIOS update for this BIOS image, this BIOS image was provided by BIOS-Mods member sickplanet. sickplanet provided a BIOS dump from their Sony Vaio VGN-N38Z notebook. As BIOS dumps alone do not contain special platform data that instructs the flashing program on how to flash a BIOS chip, I had to apply platform data from a R0030J4 BIOS image (for which Sony did release an update). I was able to do this because both notebooks have the same chipset and are in the same notebook series. I have confirmed that this process works with my own notebook's  BIOS image (my notebook also has the 945GM chipset), applying the same platform data. The result is that the BIOS image at the end of this post is now flashable.

PRECAUTIONS/DISCLAIMERS:

I have a graphic card problem due to which I can't boot up my windows OS to make a bios dump. I am thinking of switching to intel graphic processor for which I need the advanced settings in BIOS . I have a dual boot setup though , I can access all my windows files via ubuntu, which is working. Can I manually get all the files needed for the mod or get the bios dump using ubuntu ?
