Asus P8Z68-V Gen3 (NOT PRO) Bios Mod for NVME?

Hi.

Is there anyone who can modify the bios with nvme support for my motherboard Asus p8z68-v gen 3, not the pro version.
I tried to make this change myself but ended in crashing bios and 12 hours working to get it working again.

Intel DG41RQ partially working with X5470

Dear all,
  despite the info available regarding compatibility of Intel DG41RQ with all 771 1333 Xeon, it is not working as expected.

The major problems are two:
1) After the first restart video is gone and you can get it back only executing a shutdown;
2) FAN is always running at 100%.

Windows 7 boots correcly, CPU Z identify the CPU correctly.

I'm already using latest BIOS available and I followed the recommendation of :

but without success.

Next step I will do this:

acer 5738g cpu microcode update HELP

Good evening to all.
I am a NEW user here and i want to ask if its possible someone help me
to update cpu microcodes for my laptop ( Acer 5738G).
I need to add microcode 006fb for Intel T7700.
I found bios 1.34 here but they have 006fa for T 7500.
I attached three files that i need to bios.

New Challenge 3: i3 2330m to i7 2640m

Well, let´s talk about of Sandy Bridge processors. My brother has an ASUS x44c, chipset Intel® HM65 Express, equiped with i3 2330m - TDP 35W.
He asked me how he could make his laptop more stronger. I told him that he should make a processor upgrade. Making a research on internet, I found the i7 2640m - TDP 35W.

The Chipset is compatible according to the datasheet. And the BIOS? Here is the new challenge: Is the BIOS (American Megatrends, version 210, 2012/09/06) ready to receive it?

Could someone check it for me, please???

[REQ] - Unlock VT-d option - HDR, ROM & EXE file links included

Both HRD and ROM files were acquired by running "-writehdrfile" and "-writeromfile" commands on the EXE file. 
Dell does not supply HDR and ROM files

BIOS:  Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS v1.10/Dell vA16
Mobo: 0M858N
System:  Dell Optiplex 760 MT

Problem:  My CPU (Intel E8400 Core 2 Duo) and Q45/43 Chipset have VT-d technology.  A16 BIOS supports it, but mobo (0M858N) will not allow VT-d option in BIOS (VT for Direct I/O).  Restricted only to only enable "Virtualization" which only enables VT-x, not VT-d.

Request:  Unlock "VT for Direct I/O" option. (See screenshots).

Supposed to show:

Further proof that Optiplex 760 supports VT-d (both published years before latest BIOS A16 was released):

Hello there!

I would like to have the bios unlocked with advanced menu.

Model : Acer Aspire E5-511 C1GC
Bios Type : InsydeH20 rev. 5.0

The bios chip is write protected, but i do intend to get a SOIC8 test clip to flash it. I would appreciate further help on the process. Will post the results when successful.

New Challenge: C2D T9900 to C2Q Q9100!

Hi everybody...

I have a new challenge for the "updaters, modders" of bios that can help me somehow.

The situation is:

I have a Mobile Hp Dv4-1xxx series with C2D T9900 dual core processor, the chipset is PM45. According to the PM45 datasheet, this chipset for sure is compatible with "Intel® Core™2 Extreme, Intel® Core™2 Quad, and Intel® Core™2 Duo mobile processors based on the 45-nm process". So far, everything is 100 %. So, I would like to upgrade my CPU, buying a C2Q Q9100 (amazing).

However, I don´t know if my Bios (F.67, the lastone) allow to use this processor. To avoid buying the CPU prematurily, I´d like to know if someone here could check the BIOS (Insydebios) file and discover if it´s has Microcode updated for this processor - Q9100.

Whitelist removal bios flash for HP dv9700

Hello there, this is my first post so if I have put it in the wrong area I am sorry.

I was searching the google for a wifi card that would work in my hp dv9700 and to my astonishment found the same whitelist annoyance that plagued the ps vita tv, except in this case for hardware and not games. I have some experience moding and flashing consoles and phones, using oden and hemidal, making cwm flashable zip files.

I have never flashed a custom bios before but have done a few bios flashes on PC.

The part I am having trouble with is two fold:
A. Identifying the driver flash file I need, (and differentiating it from the original flash file on the internet) because, dun dun dun, all the links are dead! RIP links. So hence the new post here.

Dose any super awesome person here have or can point me to the file I need?

4GB and 1TB of storage on this machine, I NEED wireless N at the very least. This G card has got to go. I already have a wireless n card (two in fact) but alas, the bios flags them both.

Acer Gateway NE46Rs BIOS Update Failure

I wanted to change the boot logo so I decided to do backup-change-flash procedure for AMI Bioses. I came to know mine was Aptio 5. I created a bootable usb. And placed AFUDOS ver 3.0.5 in it. I checked if it supported Aptio5 and it did. I didnt use latest AFUDOS because it didnt have /GAN command. I created a backup by using AFUDOS and I tried to restore to see what a successful update would be like. 

When i tried the command 'afudos backup.rom /GAN' it started verifying flash and writing flash. Once it said done, i restarted and now it starts with a black screen and after some 15 seconds CPU fan turns off and again after 15 seconds it turns on, runs for 15 and turns off. I want to know what went wrong?
