Hello guys

As I know, Intel i7 2630qm processor supports AES-NI, But the microcode of processor must be version 1A or later

My laptop, hp elitebook 2560p bios include the version 1A, but after installing the latest verion (version F.63 Rev.A) bios, the microcode did NOT be update



(using bios intel microcode editor check the microcode included in the bios)

Now I want to know, how to update the microcode to version 1A?

Hi, I'm new to this modded BIOS and don't have any knowledge of doing it. 

Recently, I just bought a 1050 ti for an eGPU setup and didn't do my research well. Can anyone help me to unlock the bios so that i can enable the "hot-plug" in the PCIE Express Slot? I don't want to want to feel like i wasted my money.

Hello,

I'd like to request a whitelist removal from the firmware of a Lenovo IdeaPad 500-15ACZ (Type 80K4001MUS; this is the AMD APU part, A10-8700P, not the seemingly more common Intel-based boards)

If it's possible, would you please let me know if both the New rev firmware above from the mfr as well as the current/old rev can be patched? Just as a backup plan in case one or the other fails.

Hi,

I'm trying to change OEM logo of my Y11B Notebook. It has an AMI Bios and I'm using Change Logo v5.0.0.2 (I cannot find the more recebt version). Everytime time I try to save the image Change_Logo gets stuck. Please help Here is the Bios and Image I'm trying to replace with.

So, managed to get my P6T>P6TWS crossflash done.. everything seemed fine, except the fact that all voltage settings were gone(supposed to be below please key in directly text), including the tiny problem of enabling manual oc mode and only being able to set bclk/pcie to 356mhz minimum and no ratio settings. Reflashed to the P6T bios I was using, went fine here too, but.. same problem now. All those settings gone! Reflashed the bios with ezflash too, reset cmos, battery etcetc, still the same.

Everything else seems to work fine, auto puts it at default clock, turbo works etc, writing from that computer now. Permanent dmg or fixable? New bios chip?

Hi Everyone!

I need some help to access the video configuration of my BIOS. It was under the advanced menu tab.
After changing the maximum available video memory the computer has just stucked in "Media checking... failed"
I've loaded back default settings of the BIOS, and now the advanced menu tab has been disappeared.

I've updated BIOS to the newest available form me from the Lenovo site:

The Advanced tab has not appeared.

What I've got so far:

Computer : Lenovo E31-80
Type : 80MX00CWHV
BIOS : Insyde H2O rev 5.0
Version : DCCN39WW v2.08

Backing up the BIOS has not worked, so I've dumped the downloaded one with the Phoenix Bios Tool. After that the dumped UEFI has been parsed with Universal IFR Extractor.

I've attached my result.

How can I get back the Advanced menu tab with Video configuration menu?

Hi I'm running the a1640n with a Intel Xeon Quad L5320 (50w 1.86Ghz Quad) not to mention 4x 2GB = 8GB total ram : It might support 4x 4gb = 16GB total : have yet to test it.

Pretty awesome ancient system : also running AMD R9 290X.

Originally I had an issue where the fsb was 66 x 7 = 466mhz

Had someone fix the bios to 266 x 7 = 1866mhz and it fine.  However I have an issue with the system fan since it's a custom build. I guess if anyone still wanted to know how to fix this... Tether a jumper of the Yellow Sense of the CPU Fan wire to the Yellow Sense pin on the System Header which would fix the error.

The system fan header makes you press f1 to skip.  I'm looking for the advanced bios Key Combo on this bios.

Such a cool running CPU : bios idle temperature 19C.

Says Award Phoenix v3.17 and bios button is F1... I haven't figured out the Advanced Bios Key Combo yet?

I lost the modded bios for 266 x 7 for L5320... Maybe someone could also take a look and line up the 266 x 9 & 266 x 7 for Q6600 & L5320 as they both default to 66 x (*) multi.

I'll probably pickup a 2.67Ghz Quad for this system if you can line up the BIOS. HAHA

Hello

I have a Packard Bell easynote ML65 with a Phoenix BIOS  and i wanted to add Intel Core 2 Duo t9400 Cpu support.

I am a bit lost, I've tried to flash a bios that I have found in this web for Packard Bell easynote MH35 with WinPhlash but it did not allow me. It says something about "required device or platform not present or so". Anyway it has given me a backup of the current bios.
I've tried to edit this Bios but it says "Invalid ROM length" and I do not how to solve it.
