[Request] Anyone can unlock Alienware 18 Insyde?

I am looking for the one who can bypass Secure Flash and Unlock Alienware 18(Viking) Insyde H2O UEFI BIOS in order to get access to all hidden menus. [REQUEST] Asus A42JK CPU upgrade

Hello,

I attempted upgrading the processor in my A42JK from i5-520M to i7-840QM. The official (and latest) BIOS for this laptop doesn't support the i7 processor I want to install in. So, I upgraded the microcode for this CPUID (0x106E5) from the rev3 (which predates the i7 launch) to the latest available rev7 and flashed it over the official one. Still, I have met no success as the laptop turns on but screen doesn't display anything, neither is the backlight on. Soon after, the fan starts going full speed and I can feel warm air exhausting and the heatsink area getting warm.

I'm wondering if it is an issue of the BIOS not getting past the check for iGPU (which the existing i5 has; i7 doesn't) and hence not able to POST and/or display anything. Therefore, I am requesting help on whether I can bypass this check, if that's the issue. Or even simply that the socket/chipset does not support a higher TDP processor. Not sure of any other possible issues, but do please share with me too if you are aware.

I've attached the official and the modded BIOS which I did microcode update for CPUID 106E5 (plat. 13). I hope it helps and I do hope I can get some help on this. I really want to get it working and this is the second step towards it. I'm not giving up until I exhaust all possible means. Thanks.

Hello, I'm rather new to this but I've always had a fascination with pushing my hardware as far as it will go and my goal is to access the hidden bios menus. I also as A secondary goal would love to unlock the limits on my Vbios (Gtx 850m Gddr5 model) Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the Aspire V3-772G Gtx 850m model with I7 4712MQ 8gb ram and Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit links to acer support and drivers here:

I have a samsung N110 netbook which has a full size mini pci wifi b/g+bluetooth 2.1 atheros card

I bought an  wifi b/g/n + bluetooth 3.0 asus azurewave

The netbook could not power on at all.

I installed the native wifi card, disabled it in the bios menu, changed back to asus again no power on.

what the [censored] is going on? is it possible to install a half mini pci wifi card with wifi N support?

How can i find BIOS support compatibility with the wifi cards?

Is this similar to CPU support?

Because you know about CPUs is it possible to also tell about wifi bios compatibility, so as to buy a wifi N mini pci card and install it on my netbook ?  I cannot buy and try all cards!

I would like to enable AHCI in order to have TRIM support for SSD.

Could you please help me?

BIOS Unlock for ACER ASPIRE ONE D270-1607 not working

Hello, I followed the instructions on this thread

I did the recovery flash several times and its not flashing with the unlocked bios, Here is what happens i unplug and disconect everything and hold the power button for more then 10sec then, i insert the usb drive with the renamed file, i then hold down the FN and ESC keys and insert the power supply then i tap the power button it lights up the tiny blue power light flashes and the fan comes on quick i release the FN an ESC keys, the fan shuts off right away the usb drive blinks for about at most about a minute then it reboots and the bios is still the same and still locked.

I have Insyden20 setup utility rev 3.5, Bios version v1.10 which is the latest on acer website, and the product name is AOD270

I am running this computer with a second 1080p HDMI to DVI monitor, i really need information and help on how to install 4gigs of ram, unlock the bios, increase the video ram, possibly a bus speed increase. I am running windows 7 32 bit ( may upgrade to win7 64 bit) i currently have 2 gigs of ram and i have installed a SSD drive. It has a intel gma3600 video card that i would love to over clock and with more vram it needs a speed boost bad... please help.

BD Master or anyone who has any information on what a bios unlock will get me, and how to properly install 4 gigs of ram, why the flash might not be working even though it appears to do something. I am also interested in the LCD upgrade if you have any information on how to do this that would be great, thanks in advance.

HELP WITH LENOVO, THE BIOS UPDATE FAILED

Hello everyone i hope i can have some help here,

I have a notebook brand lenovo ideapad z710

The problem is that it was updating the bios, stopped the update after the reset, the notebbok left with the screen in black, do not load the bios,

Is there any formula to recover it?

Notebbok even does these things when you turn it on

- turn on the power led
-Drive the hard drive led
- when I tried to reset it with wincrisis the usb led, it flashes 3 times

Please if someone knows how to recover it would appreciate your help.

I want remove whitelist from my bios which support new CPU. I dont know how i can do it. Or i want add only VID and PID my new wifi card to whitelist. Is anybody can help me ?

Hey guys,

I am still running a 2500k on my mobo that seems to have problems with a full four DDR3 configuration.
So I need to add some voltage on VTT and VCCIO, but Asus has disabled this options in the bios.
Btw. in the description it says that I can select the VCCSA in small increments, but actually I can only choose between auto and +0.1V. The same goes for the CPU-PLL voltage. Maybe you can also improve this.

Can someone please take a look and add these voltages?

update: i got the unlocked bios working and i am now able to give it 64 megs of vram and its allot faster like 4 times faster, but im still needing bus speed improvements, cpu, and gpu overclocks does anyone have any information if i can do this now with and unlocked bios?
