No internet, no Mac adress After BIOS flash [SOLVED]

So I flashed a custom BIOS for my Vostro 200 trying to be able to overclock it's Core 2 Dúo (which by the way, the oc feature doesn't seem to work), so using winflash I selected update all (it's my first time updating a BIOS).

The BIOS installed correctly, but when I booted into Windows I saw I had internet connection problems. It says it has problems with the IP address, and I did a IP config /all in cmd and found out the Mac Address is something like FFFF-FFFF-FFFF-FFFF

So, do you guys know how to fix it? Sadly I don't have a backup of the stock bios.

EDIT:

I'm glad I can say I solved this by myself after lots of research:

After trying to edit DMI without any results, I got a Mac Spoofer program which was able to change the MAC adress of the adapter and got internet working again on the computer, you have to install this: https://technitium.com/tmac/

Then, you select the Ethernet connection (usually is the only one, but in my case I had some VMWare connections), then down on Change Mac Adress you click on Randomize Mac Adress, and then on Change Now!

And done, internet working again!

I have a dedicated gpu and 8gb of ram but I am limited to 7.9gb. the bios shares ram with the integrated gpu even with a dedicated gpu installed. I have the option enabled to disable the integrated when I have a add in graphic card installed but the on board video still reserves ram.

Power on Password on HP Probook 455

Hi,
 
My problem is I cannot now use my Probook 455 notebook as when I boot I get directed to BIOS Power on Password and my password does not work although I have never changed it.
 
I was having a problem with notebook occasionly shutting down so I have been trying to run the UEFI system tests but I could not run the full set as the only tests available were short tests on HDD and Memory.
I contacted HP and they kept on sending me different UEFI program downloads but none worked any better.
I then noticed that in the BIOS a lot of options were " Greyed out " and unavailable to change.
The next thing I did was to be fatal as I was able to log into the BIOS as an Administrator which is when I noticed there were other users in the BIOS Administration box. I then decided to remove them and just left myself as sole Administrator and I did not change the password.
I followed the instructions and rebooted for the changes to take effect and ever since then I have been uinable to get past the Power On Password screens, eventually getting the " HP Authentication Failed Message " and please switch Off to try again and re-enter password.
There is no " Key or Numbers " in a dialogue box so most of the solutions I have found will not work.
 
I know there are many previous posts regarding this subject but these all seem to be 2-3 years old and not relevant to my notebook and the only thing HP could offer was to change the Mainboard for £200.
 
Please help if anyone knows how to overcome this problem I will be eternally grateful.

[Request] Unlocking ACHI in Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5900 Bios

As the title states, i installed Windows XP on my Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5900, but theres no option to enable ACHI (SATA/IDE) that in bios. This is an older laptop that came preinstalled with Vista 07-08 sometime around then.

Acer aspire v3- 731 bios password removal

Hello, i have this computer Acer aspire v3- 731 and it has windows 8 operating system that i want to change to windows 7... There is this small problem with that operation. I would need to boot the computer from cd drive and i cant change the boot devices because the bios is password protected. This is an used laptop and the person who sold it does not seem to know the password.
I have tried all kinds of tutorials and tried to get the error code from the bios to crack the password but this computer model does not give the error code which you get after entering the bios password wrong three times.
Taking out the cmos battery wont help either. 
I did a bios upgrade but at that point i did not modify the files to disable the password protection. IT now has bios version 2.23 and i want to downgrade it to the bios version 1.14 with the modified bios setup file but it gives me an error saying that "please update to the same type of bios 2.23" I have tried to modify the setup file to get rid of that message but it wont work no matter what i do. 
I add the setup file with the modifications as an attachment to this post if someone can take a look and perhaps tell me what is wrong with it... I packed the files with 7zip and i hope it's legal to put them here. Thanks!  Huh

Acer aspire 7750G with i7-2720qm

Hi everyone,
 
I  just installed an intel i7-2720qm in my acer aspire 7750G. Everything works fine except that when I run a OCCT cpu stress test, the cpu downclock itself to aprox. 1,9ghz. All four cores are running, everything seems stable, the speed just seem to be locked. The temperature only hits about 64°C which show that the cpu isn’t going to its full potential (My i5-2410m did normally go up to about 80°). The aspire 7750G did come with two AC adapter from factory, a 90W and a 120W, which  I believe was for dual cores and quad cores cpu. I just got a 120W ac adapter and I’m using it right now and it’s working fine. I’m also using stock acer bios v1.21
 
Does anybody have any possible solution to make the quad core i7-2720qm work normally on my laptop ?

Hey guys.

I've got this heavily modded Z420 workstation.

However the UEFI i crippled like [censored].

I've got two problems with that thing:

it brags about usb3 front header not being connected (connected the front header to another usb3 card but attached a PCI panel for the onboard usb3 header.

CPU fan speeds are way to high (it's watercooled)

if someone is able to remove the "press f1 to continue" warning after POST i would be more than thankful!

lowering the PWM values for the fans would be a nice-to-have Tongue

UEFI is attached.

I tryed to install an other WLAN Card but it doesn´t work cause of withelist.

Please can anyone remove the Withelist in the Bios ?
