ThinkPad W530 WIFI Whitelist Removal Request

Greetings. Could someone please help me ditch the whitelist of the UEFI firmware for my ThinkPad W530?

P.S.: The UEFI firmware is provided as an img file for USB / CDROM booting update. My ThinkPad has some problem (unable to boot from any of Windows installer media or Windows PE) and has only macOS installed, made the USB / CDROM update be the only way for UEFI update. Currently I hadn't decided which WIFI module I am going to buy but I just need a modified version of the firmware I uploaded without WIFI whitelist feature. I will appreciate if someone could do me this favor, thanks.

Request to inject Xeon microcode to HP BIOS

Hi,  need your qualified help. I'm trying to inject Xeon codes in HP BIOS. 

Motherboard model is IPIEL-LA3.

Link to the latest BIOS .

CPUID 1067A

Without adding 771 microcode Pc runs very smoothly, but fan is at full speed...so I assume BIOS doesn't fully recognize Xeon X5460

Yesterday I try to do it by myself, but when I flash the PC with new bios it gave me error "Unable to unload driver".

After restart pc starts running very slow.

Hp dv6-3150el bricked bios

Hi. I really need your help. I installed a modded bios on my hp dv6-3150el notebook for disabling the onboard gpu and use only the dedicated gpu. This bios bricked my laptop, so I give it to assistance (not official hp) and they make the modded bios to start again. Then, I followed the guide to create a recovery usb and it worked. Laptop was back. Then, i tried another modded bios, and it worked for 5 mins and then black screen, no boot, fans at high speed. I switched the igpu off, so I can't see anything on the screen, but also via any other video port I can't see anything. Give it to assistance again but this time they cannot help. Now I have black screen, fans at full speed. Please I want my laptop back. What can I do?

[Request] Acer VN7-591G BIOS Issue

There is an issue with the Acer VN7-591G, where if you have an external monitor connected while the system is powering on, the fans do not function at all. You can see in the links below that this issue occurs on all laptops of the same model, regardless of BIOS version or if motherboard is replaced by Acer.

I have two questions -

1. If I'm able to unlock my BIOS, is there an option in the Advanced or Power menu that I can enable/disable that will fix the problem?
2. If not, can someone patch the BIOS to fix the issue, or at least point me in the right direction, so I can do it? I've contacted Acer support and they were absolutely NO help. They wanted me to send the laptop in to get the BIOS fixed...

If there's any other information that I need to provide, please let me know.

Hi, I'm trying to unlock the bios of my ideacentre. It is a pretty new board from lenovo, don't know if it is rebranded.
The bios is an Aptio V, tried AMIBCP with no luck (reports that the rebuild is unsigned, so cannot be flashed).
From OS the nvram is locked too.
Trying to figure out how to unlock it I dump all the efi variables from efishell, if there is some of theme that can do the trick.
I attach the dump and link to the bios file.

Is there a way to mod the BIOS of a toshiba P55t-B5262 to allow unlocking of advanced options? like being able to change the DVMT pre-allocated memory? The bios setup on this is pretty limited and I want to be able to install mac OSX on it.

Can you help me update the bios to the latest ?

I tried to update manualy via application from the support site but gives me an error where it says that i must update to 1.xx ver...

What should i do ?


P.S. This is my first post , i would apreciate if someone can answer and not delete my post or judge somehow...
