LENOVO Flex 2 14 cannot access bios

Hi Team,

I have a lenovo flex 2 14 with supervisor Bios password set currently I forgot the password. I need to access the BIos to enable VT-X. I set the password Last Year and I was running virtual machines with VT-X enabled, Last week I updated my Bios to A0CN37WW and VT-X option is now in disabled mode.
I contacted Lenovo technical support and they told to replace the motherboard. Please help me to recover from this. Huh Sad Sad Sad

Hi everyone...new here....I'd love to unlock all hidden features for my BIOS but I am new and haven't found a guide for my actual notebook version...if anyone knows of one could you be so kind as to point me in the right direction?  Also, if one doesn't exist and I were to backup my current version and then use the correct application to edit/mod my BIOS, are there things that still should NOT be enabled even if I have an option to do so in the application?  I saw a guide for a GS60 ghost but that obviously isn't my notebook and I couldn't find if I should avoid enabling something if it shouldn't be....Ideally I'd like to be able to overclock with my 6700 cpu but since it isn't the "k" version I'm out of luck in terms of using easy BIOS settings and/or intel extreme tuning utility....it seems I can change some items in IXTU but its hard to find info for a locked cpu version...any help will be greatly appreciated....thanks so much....glad to find this site! Big Grin

Can you please provide me with an unlocked BIOS for the above mentioned Laptop. I need to install a T9600/T9400 processor on the same, hence I need an opcode update as well as the hidden options to be available (VT-X).

ASUS BM1AD (H81M-C/BM6AD/DP_MB) BIOS unlock problem

I have 2x4GB G-Skill RipJawsX CL9 installed on my MOBO. When I enable X.M.P. profile on EZ mode after saving&restarting it turns back to normal CL11 timings.
There is no AI Tweaker tab in BIOS so I can't manually set RAM timings.

I have tried modifying BIOS using AMIBCP4.53 for AI Tweaker and some sub menus (set access level default to user) then flashed EEPROM using AFUWINx64.EXE PATH_TO_ROM /GAN

When I check for BIOS version, I see the number of the modified BIOS so write is ok. But still no AI Tweaker tab.

Can someone unlock the BIOS for me please. Thanks.

What information do you need? I tried to use the tool linked in other posts, put the file access was blocked.

Hi everyone, I just joined this great community. I know I'm posting in the wrong category but I need someone to help me. 
So, I have a notebook Lenovo G470 (Model: 20078) and was wondering if you guys could help me unlocking it's advanced bios settings.
I know my bios is InsydeH20 and gotta check the version but is rev 3.5. I know I have to upload an screenshot of it. 
The thing is you need me to upload the bios so you can modify it and I don't have any idea how to do that, I wonder if you could help me
guys. I would really appreciate that. Sorry for my english, it's not my native languaje. Regards!

Hello, is there anyone who could help me to unlock Bios in my computer to use the dedicated Radeon card?  I need it desperately to CAD work , integrated Intel is too slow and works only in 30Hz on 4K display.  Radeon is not active, no real reaction on switching options from Windows and display all the time goes through Intel.  It seems like I have to disable Intel in Bios, and choose AMD there. But there is no such option.  I would be thankful for every help.

What's a marker?

In one of the BIOS, this has a Marker/SLIC 2.0, but updating it without a rw, changes it to Marker/SLIC 2.1.

If I use the rw report from the machine, then it stays as 2.0.  Presumably, 2.1 is what I seek?  I think that's why I couldn't activate?

Without the rw report, I am assuming the program sees the 2.0 SLIC, but with a RW it ignores updating the marker - due to the setting(s) in Advanced?

I seem to be able to add the 2.1 SLIC, but wish there was a bit of a guide somewhere as to what options do what...  Lots of options, but no idea what they do...  I think generally you do defaults and there are certain options for certain methods....  Like Dynamic updates a SLIC... Just thought I'd have a bit of a play...

Any advice?

Hello

I have Acer aspire V3-372, and I would like to have its bios unlocked if it is possible. I'm willing to help in anyway.
I tried earlier to change DVMT-preallocation value with efi shell but i was greeted with error 0x0000000000008.
