[REQUEST] Unlock chipset tab

Hi

this is my modded bios

i unlocked all the options in the visible tabs
updated lan orom and ucode

i would like to unlock chipset tab and its options

i found a tutorial but i don t want to break my mobo so i m asking your help

it s Aptio v 4
in UEFItool you can find setup as ASUSSetup

i extracted asussetup body
i skipped the ida part and edited setup.bin with hxd
my ifr has 6 tabs: main advanced chipset security boot exit
i looked for 01 01 00 01 01 01 and i found it
i replaced 00 with 01
so 01 01 01 01 01 01

is this correct?

Unlock Acer E5-511 Bios Issue

Hi I'm sure you've heard of this issue before and after days and days of searching I can't find a solution.

What it is, is I am trying to install Intel  HAXM but the virtualization on my bios is not enabled, so it doesnt detect it in the install. I thought it would be as simple as turning it on through the BIOS, but in my luck Acer have removed the advanced tab in the BIOS where it is held. 

Through further research I found out that it is possible to flash the BIOS using Insyde Flash but all of the versions I have had access to don't seem to run (I assume its because they are not for the version I have).

So what I am asking is whether it is possible to create a fix or unlock file to reveal the BIOS. In need of solution so it will be great if you could share your knowledge on this subject, thanks in advance.

CPU: AMD A10

I installed a new Intel 7260 wifi adapter in my rig but the BT is working but the Wifi is not.
I am using a usb adapter right now.
Please give a a stable bios for my rig.

Hello, I have an eMachines Desktop. It has an Nvidia MCP61 chipset. I want, if anyone could, help with modifying it to have all options unlocked, like overclocking.

So here is my bios dumped, if someone could help me, it would be great.

At one time BDMASTER indicated to me that he had done a number of these mods.  I had a link to them on rghost, but now
when I go to try to access that, it says restricted....
At one time I had downloaded one for a 5.1, as I also have a 5.1 board, but never installed.



So, can anyone point me to a link for this bios mod?

78LMT-USB3 6.0  with a DELL SLIC 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3

If it doesn't exist it would be nice to have a version....

Hello,

I have an old Packard Bell iXtream M5722. I bought a GTX 960 card for it but I soon figured out that the old q8300 is a big bottleneck. Bios does not have any overclocking features so I tried setFSB but the motherboard pll - CV194CPAG was not supported. So unlocking the bios is my last resort.

CPU-Z info:
Motherboard: Packard Bell
Model: EG43M

Bios: American Megatrends Inc.
Version: P01-A0
Date: 08/18/2009

Packard Bell website has a newer version P01-A1 for this desktop - link

Is it possible to unlock it? Thanks in advance!

Dell Vostro 3360 BIOS Unlock

Hi, 
I have 2 Dell Vostro 3360 one with BIOS unlocked, the other one with BIOS LOCKED. I tried to copy with a programmer information from unlocked BIOS to the locked BIOS but doesn't work. Also, tried to follow steps from others forums from this site, read unlocked BIOS with Universal Bios Extractor, renamed file as BIOS.cap and put into FAT32 USB drive and tried to recover bios by pressing END Key. It made recovery but BIOS still locked. BIOS is Phoenix SecureCore Tiano, BIOS chipset is Winbond 25Q64, when i read Bios with programmer I have a 8Mb file, reading BIOS with Universal Bios Extractor I have a 6mb file. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

Hi, I'm trying to unlock all options in the AMI Aptio Bios on my Intel Cherry Trail tablet because the ram frequency is set to 1066 instead 1600mhz.

I extract the Setup module with MMTool 5.0.0.7 and with IFR extractor I extract it, but from here I do not know how to continue.

I attach the bios file and the .txt of setup module

Can anyone help me?

Hello there. I've been at this for so many hours and have not actually been doing anything. My problem lies with the bios or uefi settings. I want to enable Intel VT-x, although the 'advanced' tab is not there.

My computers complete model name is: Acer Aspire v3-772G 747a161.01TMaKK
 
Intel core i7-4702MQ 2.2Ghz
NVIDIA Geforce GT 750M
16 GB RAM

Or going to http://www.acer.com/ac/no/NO/content/drivers  then under product model, type "v3-772g" here you locate BIOS/Firmware and the one i'm running is: BIOS v1.15 as of 2014/04/28.

Would anyone be so kind as to guide me though the whole process of enabling VT-x? From downloads - to configs - to 100% finished.

These are my first steps into BIOS modding although i have messed around with Windows(XX) a lot(sometimes editing hex) and i have beginners knowledge in programming (Visual Basic, very little c++ and c#, beginning to learn java)


EDIT: I noticed some of you asking for donations for your work. I'd gladly donate, all i need is a proper fix with proper instructions(could be linked)
