Hi all, i have a toshiba L750 a102 and i removed the whitelist with help of a member in this forum... but after installing the vga driver and restarting, the device manager tells me code 12 or not enough resources... ive searched google and it says something about bios not knowing how to allocate resources or something about 36 bit port ???... can setup 1.3 solve this issue?

[Request] HP DV2500 SATA 2 and unlock everything like IDA

Hello, previously few months back i posted a thread asking to remove the wifi whitelist for my dv2500. Heres the thread:https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-HP-Pavilion-dv2500-Whitelist-Removal-Request And the bios made by ttav134 suggested by BDMaster works like a charm after tapping the pin 20.
Today, I need somebody to help me:
1) enable sata 2 as I'm pretty sure my south bridge have the capability to enable sata 2 as my laptop has a Intel GM965 or simply ICH8M. I need sata 2 as I'm running hackintosh and its painfully slow. Even my x61 has the same hdd as my this dv2000, flashed the middleton bios sata 2 running el capitan is even faster than this despite no QE/CI!
2) Also i hope somebody can enable IDA and some/all hidden setting in the bios! I really need IDA. Thanks.
3) Last question, can i flash bios another time despite flashed the patched bios that time? Will it cause any friction or something?

Maybe somebody can built upon the bios made by ttav134 since it have the wifi whitelist removed. The link i attached for the bios is what BDMaster gave it to me in the previous thread. Thank you very much Smile

programmer keeps disconnecting

Hello,

recently my tablet has been bricked with wrong setting, got no bios logo. I bought the flasher (CH341A) and clip, which does turn the flasher off when connected.
the chip is Winbond W25Q64FVSIG, tablet is Onda v919 Core M (which has been reported that CH341A will work).
also when clipped to other 8pin chips, the results were the same, keeps disconnecting.

Is there any way I can recover this tablet? am I missing something?

Hello all,

I have a Asus et2203t (intel PM45 chipset) all-in-one which currently has a intel T6600 CPU. I recently tried to install a Q9000 CPU I had lying around but the system fails to post. It simply sits with a black screen and the fans running slowly. I have used Asus Ez flash to make a backup of the currently installed BIOS (This is the latest update) which I have attached. The system uses an American Megatrends BIOS.
So is is possible to find out which CPU's my BIOS currently supports as there is no information from Asus? And would there be any chance of my comper supporting a Q9000?

ASUS V550ca Power / Graphics issue

I've got an Asus V550ca that's always been a little strange since purchasing it, it's always had power related issues ranging from not shutting down (hanging on black screen) and random power offs for no reason when in use.

Cut to last week, swapped out my ssd with a hdd and went to power on, black screen and no backlight. Thought was strange so reseated ram, left off for a bit and tried again no luck. Since I've swapped out every replaceable item, reconnected all connectors, even going as far to re-applying thermal paste to both cpu and integrated graphics gpu with no luck. (note, when looking at the integrated graphics chip it was slightly discoloured - lighter green in some areas, not sure if it's related). When powering up you can hear the hdd and see/hear the fan powers up although no signs of life including caps lock, num lock don't work or respond. If you remove the ram and turn on it keeps the numlock light on but continues to do nothing. 

Think that the graphics chip is dead but didn't know if anyone had any ideas to try before it gets stripped down and disposed of.

i just wan't the option for clock ratio, Hyper threading, Virtualisation, voltage and CPU boost etc.

i have try with amibcp but i have a message when i wan't flash my bios i have "failed wrong image format bios mod"

Gateway dx4200-09 bios question

Hi Guys,


I am using Brainsuck's Gateway-RS780-7B3P081G-ACER_2.1-OEM I D ACRSYS. It works. I have been using AMIBCP_V3.37 to make additional changes to access additional aspects of the bios, but have run into a problem.

In the Advanced Chipset Features / AMD 780 Configuration / Internal Graphics Mode, I have the Access / Use I have User, Failsafe I have UMA and Opitmal I have UMA. Under UMA Frame Buffer Size, I have Access / Use I have User, Failsafe 00 and Optimal I have 00.

Changing UMA Frame Buffer Size under Failsafe and Optimal from 00 to anything from 01 to 07. I flash the bios and When I start it up and entering the bios, I go to Advanced Chipset Features / AMD 780 Configuration / UMA Frame Buffer Size The choices never change. The choices are Auto, 64 MB, 128mb, 256mb, and 512mb.

The choices I am trying to add to the bios is 1024mb and 2048mb.

What I am I doing wrong?

Acer-ECS 946GZT

Someone recently gifted me an Acer Acerpower FH computer. The motherboard inside is an ECS 946GZT-AM V1  which is supposed to be compatible with core2duo chips. Unfortunately it looks like the Acer version is only compatible up to Pentium D chips.

The latest Acer update is compatible with AspireT690/ AcerPower FH/ AcerPower SK50 models. I flashed the bios but still cannot get any of my core2duo chips running. The SK50 Acer manual does say that the motherboard supports core2duo. So far i have not been able to find an OEM ECS 946GZT-AM V1 bios. I was hoping someone can have a look at the last acer bios in order to add support for some core2duo chips? I was hoping i could use either a E5300 sl6tl or E7400 slb9y

Here is the last acer bios update it is dated 2008.

Need to add gpu support for an alienware M17x R1 I'm trying to add support for the dell nvidia geforce GTX 765m video card so i can run it in my machine would also like to add support for geforce 240m as it isn't native to it.

Downgrade Lenovo T530

I have a Lenovo T530 that was upgraded to the latest stock Lenovo 2.65 BIOS today. I need to revert it back to the stock 2.64 BIOS (due to bitlocker)

Lenovo is blocking the downgrade through their normal flash system due to some security issue they fixed in 2.65.

I grabbed the 2.64 files from lenovo's site and have the files from the flash directory. Do I need to do any special treatment of these files to be able to flash them via my external programmer? I need to keep everything the same otherwise... just downgrade the BIOS and wipe/change nothing else.

Hello,

I have a Supermicro X8DTi-F (http://www.supermicro.com/products/mothe...8DTi-F.cfm) with two Xeon E5606. I wanted to try to overclock them, but the BIOS doesn't seem to have any overclocking features. I opened the BIOS file in AMIBCP but there wasn't much to unlock. Is there any way to add overclocking functionalities to the BIOS or overclock another way?

Decided to make use of my computers option to use WWNA and got myself a Ericsson F5321 but found that it was not in the whitelist.
It would be most appreciated if a whitelist removal could be done Smile

[44CN43WW] Lenovo V570c BIOS WWAN Mod Request

Hello everybody.
I have Lenovo V570c and I try to change wifi adapter to intel wimax 6250 and install 3G modem ericsson f3507g.
I found this forum and it helped me to install new wifi adapter then I flashed modded bios 44CN43WW_NWL_DOS_ByCamiloml, but
then I installed 3G modem and boot stopped with "104-Unsupported WWAN network device detected."
In that thread https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-L...334?page=2 BDMaster helped.
Could anyone help me to remove wwan boot blocking?
