So i have H-CUPERTINO2-H61-uA TX motherboard and i'm trying to find out if there's a custom bios for this motherboard.
My main Problem is that i can't control fanspeeds from bios and with speedfan software also. Also i would be intrested in
Overclocking with this MoBo. This is spare motherboard so no need to worry for bricking. Smile

Req: AHCI menu addition for Asus P5QL-M ICH10 MoBo.

Hi,   I have a CM5571 Asus which uses a P5QL-M-EPU motherboard.  I've upgraded the bios to use the latest CPU codes and indeed it runs fine with a socket 771 XEON X5460 chip + the usual mods.  Since it's an OEM MoBo, it already had the SLIC tables that allowed me to jump from OEM Win7 to Win 10 cost-free.

The motherboard is believed to be an OEM variation on the P5QL-VM-EPU.  Visually the to boards look nearly identical (heat sinks/component placement etc).

The P5QL-M has an G43 chipset and the ICH10 controller.  Unfortunately there is no menu to switch the hard drives into AHCI mode.  They are stuck in IDE mode.  In IDE mode I can't update the SSD firmware.   I suppose it's a minor thing, but AHCI mode would be nice if it's possible.

Using AMIBCP v 3.46, there appears to be no *hidden* AHCI settings menu in the BIOS, however the bios for the P5QL-VM MoBo has those settings and much more.    I've wondered if swapping out the 8086:2E22 PCI Option Rom component in the rom for an updated intel pchAHCI.bin file would help but I suspect I'd still be left without a way to select AHCI mode.

Although I'd rather DIY this, adding menu items is currently beyond me (unless someone wants to point out a how-to thread for non UEFI AMI bioses).

Asus P5QL-M (CM5571/Cm5671) Xeon Support

Hello @ all,

I can confirm that the BIOS of the OEM Asus MoBo P5QL-M (used in at least models CM5571, CM5671) can support to support a XEON 5460 with 1333 FBS speed.   This suggest it can also support any  Xeon 51xx/52xx/53xx/54xx processors with 1333 FSB speed (or possibly lower) by replacing the present CPU microcodes with the code list that's available for DL here on the forums.   http://valid.x86.fr/3ckv6h

Lenovo T530 update bios failed

Hi, I hope someone can help me with my problem. I tried o update bios to Lenovo T530 type 2392-38G because it appeared a message that "battery not fit for this model" . I downloaded bios update from official site. After 2nd restart I didn't have image on screen and all leds went off, I let it for 15 minutes on and nothing happened.

I managed to recover some files from HDD, I think there are back-up for old bios, there is a $01D5100.FL1 file of 8.4MB and $01D5100.FL2 of 12.7MB.
Please help me with a bios file, I can use a programmer to write on bios chipset.

Hi,

First of all sorry for my bad English   Confused   i am from Germany Blush

My Hardware;

Asus X71TL Notebook 
HD3200 Onboard / Device ID is 1002:9612
HD3470 on MXM2 reversed / Device ID is 1002:95C4
The Device i read in the below X71TL304AS Bios open with MMTool Wink

New Card is the 9650M GT reversed with Device ID 10DE:064C
On the backside stay M50V-9PGE2 REV: 2.0 P/N: 08G2015MM20Y

I add the new Device into the Bios with MMTool an change the Card HD3470 to 9650M GT
The Notebook boot up with screen but;

No physical memory is available at the location required for the Windows Boot Manager.
The system can not continue.
In Bios hit with F2 i can´t see any VGA Bios there is nothing Huh
I can´t use the Kayboard no buttons work only F2 and ESC
With HD3470 i can see the VGA Bios Cool
I take the 9650M GT Device from different Bios all have the same Problem Huh
(G50V, M50VN/VA/SA M70VN and X71VN) 

Pls someone help me Angel

Hi, I'm new here and I was wondering if it were possible to upload the removed whitelist version of the "sp50586" bios (or in any case one which would work with my laptop) for the HP Pavilion DV7-3170ca model. I tried to look up some links but all those I found were already broken. (Then again maybe I missed it completely!) I'm trying to get the Intel 3160ac mini-PCIe wireless adapter to work with it and it's been driving me mad for the past couple weeks.

Slic 2.3 request fro Dell T7400

Hi there,

I've tried to add a SLIC 2.3 to the latest Dell T7400 BIOS but I keep getting an error.  Huh
I'm using AndyP's Phoenixtool v2.66 and cert and bin from MDLs repository (linked below).
Always comes back with "Program Payload Error" when run from DOS.
File size after mod is always 5KB smaller..?

The A11 BIOS I am trying to modify already has a 2.1 SLIC in it.. I am using Dynamic method but with all default switches (too nervous to try advanced settings, although I've seen a few posts suggesting this may help)

Can someone help please?

Lenovo G40-70 Wifi whitelist removal.

Hi, 

I need some help, I've had some problem with original Wifi adapter and I've purchased the Intel AC7260, I tried to upgrade my BIOS version to the latest version available from Lenovo.

I've tried to use the NEW_BACKUP_FPTs and Universal Bios Backup to extract my BIOS backup, both of them didn't worked.

FPT -> It says that the 7zip command is invalid and extracting manually I lost my keyboard.
Universal Bios Backup 2.0 -> Did not recognized my BIOS.

If anyone can help me, I'll appreciate.
