Bios damaged compaq presario CQ 61

Hello,

I need your help(assistant) on a compaq presario CQ61 315 with a black screen due to bios damaged. On the site HP I found 3 files but fd.
How I may make to fall in love bios with an USB key and these files correctemnt, on the DD of the pc I find HPTOOLS with Hewlett-Packard:SystemDiags: with 4 files:CryptRSA.efi..... SystemDiags.efi.... SystemDiags.s09..... SystemDiags.sig

This pc turns(shoots) Windows 7 64 bits and under the compartment battery(drum kit), he(it) is indicated REV 3652 100

Thank you for your advice(councils) and saddened if English is not very well written.

ga-p55-ud4p update for 2.2TB+ drives?

I see this gets asked for quite a bit.

I've got a couple of 3TB seagate drives that I had purchased intending to put them in RAID-1, and now find out that the bios doesn't play nice.

Is it possible for someone to build one that incorporates the newest Intel Raid ROM that will work with this chipset? I don't know how far the other option ROMs have advanced? Is it possible to update them all???

Intel SATA RAID controller - v12.???
Gigabyte GSATA2 - ?
JMicron JMB362 eSata - ?
Realtek RTL8111D - ?

I really don't know what would be compatible, or what the newest versions of the option ROMs are out there, or if they're stable.

I'm running F10 right now. I've seen that there is a beta 11a out there somewhere, but all the links seem to be dead.

Also, I heard rumblings that Gigabyte was working on UEFI bios for some of there older boards. Any truth to that?

.jpg  P5BW-LA (Basswood) I HP.jpg (Size: 291.79 KB / Downloads: 1) I am breaking my head trying to gather up a drivers collection for this motherboard before I switch from WinXP to Win7. I plan on doing a drivers back up and save that, but I would like to see the list of my drivers somewhere to download, hoping to get them compatible for win7. the hardware seems very promising for a win7 machine, and I would not attempt to mess with the bios unless it was highly suggested. The drivers package already seems to have its pains. Any helps or directions appreciated.
ps: seeing that other folks found many versions of this mobo, I will add that it is P5BW-LA vers. 1.01 written on Board.

Hi, i need to install Windows XP but when try install appears a error "acpi.sys".

I need to disable AHCI mode for install XP but in bios can't modify this option.

Hi everybody,

Actually i found a version to my bois which is not digitally signed with RAS:

I successfully replaced WLAN device ID's without computer brick Big Grin
I have now another small problem hope i find the solution for it.
After replacing WLAN device ID's, now i got a new error message which is:

Bluetooth Module not supported
Bluetooth Module id (704)

so i need to know where is Bluetooth whitelist could be found?
I searched for Bluetooth id's in bios image but didn't find it
How can replace Bluetooth device id as well?
what to do now? Please help

my laptop is hp 650 with core i3 processor and intel hd 3000
bios version is insyde h20 F.37 . it's updated . i dont remember the old version number

Hi,

First of all thanks for your future answers/suggestions

I have an HP probook 440 G1 below some specs:

Current BIOS Version: L74 ver 01.08
Current BIOS release Date: 02/13/2014
Video BIOS revision: Intel 2175
Processor type: intel® core™ i3-4000m CPU
Procesor speed: 2.4 GHz

I want to enable/disable AHCI mode, the option is there but can`t modify it, what do you guys suggest?

UGH!!! UEFI BIOSes...

Because Lenovo does not provide a BIOS for this model, I had to perform a BIOS dump with Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit. Best I could do!

I've tried some of AndyP's get-ups and whatnot, and a couple of other things, but I'm having no luck. Sad

If someone wouldn't mind helping me out with this one, I'd be greatly appreciative!

-Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : LENOVO Gingko 7A (0x000002F7 - 0x03D862BC)
-Bios Revision : LENOVO 7ACN28WW (09/02/2013)
-Bios Type : UEFI? (Computer currently has legacy BIOS support enabled)

Hi all,
Thought new Bios 04LK would fix it cos its date is 2009/10/11 but was wrong.
Ive tried many programmes but no success.
Cannot get working Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile 2.40GHz 4M 800Mhz SLAF7, stepping G0 which is almost the same just different stepping (released 2007!)
Curently Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile 2.00GHz 2M 800Mhz SLB6E, Stepping D0, Base mPGA479

OS Win XP SP3 x32
Ram 2x2Gb DDR2 400MHz synch
Chipset PM45 rev.07
GPU GeForce 9200M GS driver ver. NV4 (6.14.11.7694)
MB Samsung R610
BIOS Phoenix

Cant figure out how to get new microcode to Bios. Ive read lots of forums but it all got mixed up and now I have comp full of stuff i dont even remember what to do with it Smile
