Hello just bought a aio cooler but can't control my fans in bios. Just looking to have access to fans nothing else.
I saw that there is a 5.49 with hardware monitor and fan controller can I upgrade I have 5.48 also willing to just unlock mine.

Ideapad 320 - can't get into crysis/recovery mode

Hello, 
When I'm trying combination fn+R, laptop keep restarting over and over, without checking pendrive (pendrive with LED).
After letting go keys, laptor fisnishes current loop and proceed loading to lenovo image then displays - no bootable device (pendrive starts blinking) .
- I can boot into bios menu 
- pendrive visible in boot menu (with legacy support)
- Bios Back Flash enabled
- can't update bios via windows (blue screens on startup)
- I extracted .exe file and with hex editor found name of bios.fd file (4WCrisis.fd), renamed usb and file but still no luck
- battery unplugged
- cmos reset
process should look like this

fn+R ---> reboot ---> usb acces for drivers
in my case
fn+R ---> reboot ---> reboot ---> reboot ---> until I'll let go fn+R keys
* legacy mode is enabled just for bios upgrade purposes
* my laptor requires bios driver ---.FD maybe there is possibility to install that update with linux  (I'm 99% windows user but with some tutorial i could try)

I'd like to explain my situation:
I want to install windows 10 on my laptop, but when installer prepares files to install, blue screen occours. I managed to install windows with different method, but sometimes when loading to windows, sometimes already in windows (1min max) - system crashes. System is stable only in safe mode (bios installer won't launch in safe mode).
I wanted to check if bios update could resolve problem, but as you can see I'm limited to recovery mode.
It's strange, becouse I installed linux without any problems, and used it for a few hours without single crash so I'm guessing my problems are related somehow to windows drivers (if laptop would have damaged internal component, even linux would crash after while - correct me if I'm wrong)

There is not much I can do inside the BIOS panel of this laptop.

I not quite sure the type of help to request.

Do I need a BIOS repair, a BIOS refresh, a BIOS unlock?

I will depend on the great minds here to determine what I am confronting.

Laptop Type: Lenovo ThinkPad E450

Issues:

1. Cannot Enable OS Optimized Defaults (Under Restart Tab)

2. Cannot change between UEFI or Legacy (Under Start Tab). In fact, I can only change boot mode in this menu.

3. Cannot set system date/time (Under Date/Time Tab)

4. F9 Key does not activate setup defaults

Can I do x8/x8 with BIOS modding?

It is very hard to find a consumer grade AM4 uATX board with two x16 slots that supports dual x8 mode. Actually I haven't found any, there are only ATX boards with this feature as far as I can tell. The Ryzen CPU supports it, and the motherboard does not have to do much to make this work as far as I understand. So is it possible to enable x8/x8 for the two x16 slots by modding the BIOS, or is there something here that I am missing?

Just a small example: ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac supports x8/x8 on a single slot with a bifurcation riser card, while ASRock B450M Pro4 does not supprt x8/x8 on two slots. Same vendor, same motherboard chipset, same CPU...

Hello, I am the owner of an EVOO 15 Gaming laptop that has a i7-9750H and a GTX 1660ti, I'd requesting an unlocked BIOS so that I can enable ASPM as I found out from a forum that it's turned off for some reason by the manufacturer which causes the CPU to idle at 10W+ at all times, killing battery life, I'd like for my BIOS to be unlocked so I can enable this setting amongst others, I will pay if required, thank you! :^)

Hi, i just bought one of these chinese recycled boards, curious i wanted to check if there is hidden stuff in the bios, dumped it and found out that there is a whole category called "enabled" says show option as "yes" but never found this on the bios menu, can anyone please unlock it for me ?

ASUS P8B75M Reboot Loop

this is my first time trying to flash UFC bios and it failed. I have an ASUS p8b75m I bought on eBay and it worked but it had a custom bios on it and it wouldn't let me flash through the BIOS because the version number was higher than the version I was trying to flash so I got a c341 a programmer and decided to flash it manually. I downloaded the BIOS from Asus as a cap file and used Uefitool and extracted the body and saved it as a bin. I tried to flash it without adding in the serial number, MAC address, UUID and flashrom was able to flash it and verify but the computer shows nothing on the screen and the fan turns on and then turns off and is stuck in a reboot loop. I then used FD44 to add in the serial number, UUID, and Mac address and then flashed it again and it still does the reboot loop. I also cleared the RTC RAM, and pulled the CMOS battery out and left it out for a day. The BIOS file is exactly 8 MB and it seems like flashrom is working because I can read it after I flash and compare it to the original and it's the same. I heard rumors that the Black c341a is 5 volts but since it seems to be working reading and writing I don't think that's it. I did forget to unplug the computer when I pulled out the BIOS chip and I used a small metal screwdriver which could have connected the pins while I was pulling it out. I also didn't pull out the cmos battery when I pulled the chip. could that cause damage to the board? anyone have any ideas?
attached is the bios I'm trying to flash after I added in the serial number and UUID and Mac address.

I also heard the file name may matter. is that true?

Asus P9X79 issues

Hello!
So I recently purchases an asus p9x79 motherboard off ebay, however i am having a little issue... I wanted to bios flashback since I assumed that the bios on the motherboard was most likely outdates, since I only had an i7 4930k. Anyways my issue is that when I try to flashback it starts the process about half way ish. It usually counts from as low as 10 to 35 times, Only once gets faster. So basically the bios flashback doesn't work. I tried different bioses, formating the drive using diskpart, nothing worked. Could the bios chip be dead or damaged? What else can I do apart from buying a new chip. The good part I guess is that it has a removable bios chip, which is rare now a days. I did notice that this motherboard is a lot more stripped down compared to other Asus motherboards. No bios led, no start, clear cmos buttons on motherboard...

I also would like to mention that the motherboard was for parts or repair, but the seller didn't know what was wrong. The pins seem fine, maybe on of the pins on the far left could be bent, because under a certain angle it looks slightly odd, but I'm not sure. The CPU as well was sold as for part or not working, the seller claimed that It came from a dead pc. However I was willing to take the chance on both, since I did buy an "Acer" p9x79 pro for very cheap and the seller claimed it had issues, but it turned out to be completely fine. Any suggestions would be apreciated!

MY Bios has supervisor password greys out as well as all options. except user password. cant change boot order nothing. how do i fix this?
HDD also keep going to frozen

****Changed password from 0 to 1 in platfor.ini.... nothing

*****removed battery and cmos about 15 20 min estimated time...

***** switched out hard drive
Please help with clearing the greyed out bios

IF able to clear reset bios and grey options.... i need to enable visualization

ANYONE OF THESE ISSUES PLEASE SO TIRED OF TRIAL AND ERROR GOING TO END UP WITH A PAPPER WEIGHT

I Have a Interactive Whiteboard that  has a bios admin password that i need to bypass to add a bigger ssd, I have been locking around and with amibcp i get only one tab and i cant change anything.
Can anybody help me /guide me on this.
I attached a dump of the bios from a ch341a taken with ch341Atools. I have more bios chips to test so i do not need to erase the original. the bios chip is a 25Q64FV

Hello!
I am unable to undervolt my laptop's CPU due to restrictions imposed by Intel. I have an AN515-54-51M5 laptop with an i5-9300H and GTX 1650.
BIOS is Version 1.01, InsydeH2O Setup Utility Rev. 5.0.
I would prefer to simply downgrade the BIOS rather than modify it, so if anyone is able to find the latest BIOS version without Intel's voltage restrictions, I would appreciate if you provided a link to it.
