Lenovo IdeaCentre Y910-27ISH: Kaby Bridge Support

Hi! I have a Lenovo Ideacentre y-910 27 Inch screen and as Lenovo leave us with out almost any update I wold like to have my bios as much up to date as possible. Above all I would like to have a 7º gen update (if possible also coffee lake).
The bin file is on attachment.
I have programmer.

Hey. I didn't want to create a separate topic for this board, so I'm posting here. You have made mod no_tdp. I have IPISB-AG REV 1.06. The microcodes have already been updated. But at the moment, as far as I understand, there is a TDP limitation. As the i5 3470s is stated to support all-in-one, setting the 3470 without the s prefix indicates processor incompatibility. Could you please help with the solution of this problem.

Hi, I have Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2V motherboard Bios version F3 (award 6.00pg). And my bios booting screen like this. [Image: fd4c2f714e8100d5aebaa58251921842.jpg]

I want to replace this old look with a bios logo. but i don’t have full screen logo show option in bios.

I tried to add logo with face wizard app, logo has been added, but the logo is not visible at startup.

Gigabyte Ga-h55m-ud2h motherboard (released in the same year) has this option. (Same award bios)[Image: a8852d7b18f399c1103bb7acc114d51b.jpg]

How do I add this option to my bios or how do i add a bios splash logo? please help

MSI CR720 MS-1736 bios unlocked request

I received an MSI CR720 laptop (MS 1736) that I want to prepare it for a donation.
It has a very weak configuration, with P6000 processor and 2x2GBDDR3 @1066MHz. My thought is to upgrade for 4x4GB DDR3 @1333MHz and a better processor, but I'm not sure which will be the most powerful, so as not to exceed the recommended TDP of 25W (found it on the cpu-z cpu tab). Even if it will not be used intensively but only for online school, I should make sure that I choose the best CPU.
Also, a modified BIOS that allows certain performance settings for the CPU and video card or another advices would be welcome.

Hi, i have a Surface Pro 7 which i would like to undervolt using throttlestop. Unfortunately Microsoft released an updated Firmware (UEFI) which locked undervolting due to the Plundervolt bug. My question, would it be possible to unlock undervolting in the latest UEFI version ? I would even pay a little for this as undervolting is really a thing on this tablet.

He guys,

Few weeks ago now i got a msi eclipse x58 mobo. With some help i got my xeon running in it. Just one last problem, it has the pretty well know uncore bug. Now i got some help here: https://www.win-raid.com/t7173f54-x-ecli...#msg125317
Yet I have not been able to figure out if i can solve the uncore problem. Since a update to the microcode should solve this issue, afther revision 13 it should be solved. At least that is what i have learned, and so far i got no reason to doubt that. Yet the new microcode is to long to inject onto my bios with mmtool. The old microcode is just 0x2000 long yet the new one is 0x2400 long. Now i have looked up how to trim with a hex editor but this seems impossible because the last 400 hex values do contain data (which is not the case for the 2000 long code, which has 400 empty values...). Could one of you help me out? ALso im not sure the  bios would function with a different microcode size, maybe one of you know?

Gigabyte Aorus x5v7 hidden BIOS settings

Hello.
I am trying to unlock hidden settings in a Gigabyte Aorus x6v7 laptop. But the fact is that the matter does not even reach the point of flashing a modified BIOS. I tried it with my own flasher and through FPT. Did it according to the instructions from here https://www.win-raid.com/t3908f16-GUIDE-...Flash.html
The point is that it cannot boot with this boot64.efi file. Renaming this efi doesn't change anything.
The fact is that it's much easier for me to flash a modified BIOS with unlocked settings using the programmer, but when the settings are changed using AMIBCP_v5.02.0031, nothing changes in the BIOS.
So the question. Could someone help with unlocking the settings for this miracle? I perfectly understand that this is work, and work should be paid for. Therefore, I am ready to pay for the result.

...until my head started spinning because whenever I though I found the solution, a few posts later someone talks about how it bricked their BIOS.

So if anyone who's reading this already knows that what I'm looking for has already been posted, and happens to know where...could you please point me to it? So gladly appreciate it!

Basically I'm trying to unlock or unhide the Advanced setting. If there are any tricks to doing it without flashing, that would be awesome.

I can't boot into Windows because I'm stuck in a boot loop, so the solution - I guess - has to be one where that would not be necessary.
Actually, that's why I need the Advanced setting of the BIOS, because my searches are leading me to a solution of changing the sata mode from AHCI to IDE in order for Windows to start normally, which is why I need the Advanced setting.

The error I'm getting is a fraction of a second BSOD that I had to record with a phone and play back frame by frame to read, which is...

Issue with interpreting this site

Hi  I am having trouble with the layout of the site being correctly interpreted by multiple bowsers , tested on two different machines . ( Edge , Firefox , Chrome all tested) the layout is all muddled . See attached . Is anyone else having this problem ? This happens when creating a thread or replying to a message

[REQUEST] Lenovo FLEX-14API (81SS000BUS)

As stated in the title I have a Lenovo FLEX-14API (81SS000BUS) that I would like to unlock the UEFI BIOS on.

I plan to try to assign more memory to the integrated graphics since the stock UEFI limits it to 2G. And if possible I'd like to try a moderate OC on the iGPU as well.

I've already replaced the stock TIM with liquid metal on the CPU and I get a low temp of 38C and max temp of 68C under synthetic load. My bottleneck is definitely the iGPU because the CPU hits a solid 3.4GHz w/ HT on all cores under synthetic load, and normal operation it'll hit 4GHz single core.

F23 (hp15-cx0514na) update bricked laptop

Hello guys, have a big problem. Updated laptop bios to version F23 (hp15-cx0514na) and its after update restarts and looks all good. I shut down it and then try to start again and its not boot anymore. Caps lock is flashing 5long.3short which indicates that BIOS is corupted. I have EEProm programer CH431A and downloaded bios from HP the old one which was working before i done update. Flashed to the Bios chip but still no luck . It is 2 bin files 08477.bin 8 mb and 08478.bin 16mb.I checked the old faulty bios (saved from bios before erase it) is 16MB .So i have used 16MB bin file .Checked and Verified all data match on bios chip. Trying to boot still same .Caps lock blinking.Maybe i missed something .Who can help me to sort this out .Will pay for it guys.Its customer laptop and i need it done ASAP.
