Looking for unlocked G33M05G1 BIOS

I'm looking for an unlocked Foxconn G33M05G1 BIOS for my Foxconn Gateway board with Phoenix BIOS chip. Doesn't seem to want to recognize more than 2GB of RAM regardless of configuration/slots/timing/latency/speed, and was thinking perhaps flashing the BIOS with something unlocked might help. Saw some links posted, but all are dead now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Smile

Dell XPS L501x A06 Bios Mod

Just wanted to let you all know I have managed to source the Dell XPS L501x Under/Over volt A06 BIOS that people have been looking for in various threads and have attached them here so they hopefully don't get lost again Big Grin

I am going to have a look at unlocking the A08 BIOS and if I manage to do it then I will post those files here also ;-)

NOTE: I have been toying with the NVIDIA BIOS settings but it always complains that the file is 'X' Bytes too big when I try to repack it and am not getting much help back...

EDIT: I think I understand how to unlock the options, but PBE 2.2.13 (Which I have had to run in a VM due to it containing a virus) says "ROMEXEC Failed" so unless someone can offer help to bypass that I have hit a wall. Searches on Google say to use the latest PBE but this is the latest I can find...

[Request] HP dv7-6187cl WLAN and Bluetooth whitelist removal

Hello folks! I have a HP dv7-6187cl laptop, and just got a new WLAN/bluetooth module, only to find out that HP would really like to sell you one of their modules, instead of you (gasp!) trying to save some money and get one that you would like to use yourself.

Anyway, I did some googling, and ended up here.

I tried the sp55068_NWL_ByCamiloml.exe BIOS, which works for the WLAN part, but not Bluetooth. Is there a modded version available that would take care of Bluetooth as well?

Here's the vanilla BIOS link:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-55500/sp55068.exe

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Ninja edit: The ID of the adapter in question is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0887&SUBSYS_40628086&REV_C4 (if that matters)...
Ninja edit 2: The ID of the original HP adapter is PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_145C103&REV_01

Request*** Assistance with modding an option ROM that Dell has locked RAID0 out

Hello all!

The new Dell Latitude E6430 BIOS comes with a "neutered" Intel RAID Option ROM that only allows RAID1 Mirroring. Since it's a business oriented machine, it's designed for reliability, hence the neutered RAID1 option only. I've been doing lots of research, but can't seem to find a way to modify the option rom, or upgrade it to the latest available, etc. My intent is to enable RAID0 with dual SATA III 6gb/s SSDs for ultra performance. I've researched it, and the controller definitely supports it. Any Advice?

I recently acquired one of these boxes from a friend of mine, and naturally since I find the OEM BIOS on it to be rather limited, I would love to have an unlocked BIOS. Big Grin

Anyhow, the motherboard it has is an Asus K8N8X-LA PES, also known as "Diablo".

Here's a link to the latest BIOS update for it: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp26001-26500/sp26386.exe

Thanks in advance! Big Grin

AsRock G41M-VGS3 R2.0

Greetings,

I bought this board as a "bulk" board - in small computer company branded computer. I have some issues with memory among other things but it seems that newer versions of BIOS solve that.

Thing is AsRock made two versions of this board:

G41M-VGS3 R2.0
and
G41M-VS3 R2.0

They share same manual and thats only place on whole AsRock website that mention G board, while non G board seems to have a lot of BIOS updates.

Only difference between these two is that G version has gigabit LAN interface "Atheros AR8131L", while non G version has "Atheros AR8132L".

So idea is to use backup G BIOS to extract LAN part and replace it in updated BIOS of non G version - if that is possible.

Here are screenshots from AFUWIN 4.48 (which I used for making backup) and CPU-Z motherboard section:
