Dell Optiplex 7010 bios M.2 NVMe support

Hey everyone
I have a Dell Optiplex 7010 Intel Quad-Core i7-3770 3.4Ghz CPU and I would like to use M.2 NVMe SSD card in my PC with a PCI-E 3.0 x16 port and i want use JEYI PCI Express adapter. My current bios do not support it.
Does anyone have a solution for me ?!

[Help Request] Bricked HP ZBook X2 G4

Computer went to HP 3WP24UT for repair and when they repaired it they messed up the working non Admin BIOS password. So trying to unbrick computer. I have dumped the 3 Winbond chip files as I was not sure which one had the password info for resetting. Please help me edit the BIOS so I have access again. The link for the dumped files and the HP BIOS update file can be found at BIOS dump

I would like to be able to overclock/undervolt this laptop GPU, but other than that I would also appreciate any hidden option. I don't know how to get .bin file out of the .exe bios so this is the Bios .exe from Dell
If you guys are able to mod this Bios please include some instruction on how to flash it as well

Hello
 I wanted to make a request for F.05 Rev.A bios.

I want to access the advanced settings, because it's only option to turn my keyboard backlight always on (at this moment light shut off after 15s).

Unlocking/enabling Wifi Giada F200

Hi all!

I get a Giada F200, nice and little, and tried to install an own Wificontroller.
There was no error message or any other from BIOS nor in W7 device manager.
Something like white listing in BIOS?

What is the best way to dump BIOS so anybody can look after this and other hided options please?

Bios Flashing successful but dont work??

Hello.
i have an AMI aptio 4 bios, downloaded the afu files for aptio 4 from 2 sources (bios-mods and AMI site) used them both several times incase i'm doing something wrong but nothing changed. 

i've got my backup with AfuWin
edited that With AMIBcp and saved
Loaded with AfuDos/AfuWin both

Everything is fine every step is succeded but the bios never runs as i edited

AfuDos didnt go for any notice or fail gone all the way read-erased-programed-verified / after restart nothing has changed in bios (:

Tryed same file with AfuWin everything is perfect no problem no notice nothing than - restart and nothing changed again (:

dont get what i'm doing wrong

i'm loading the Edited Bios Rom

Will be glad if u can check and tell me about my mistakes  (btw i'am trying to get my GPU options like activate/deactivate ApuGPU - primary secondary Gpu selection - power express .. ETC all the Menu's that will help me about GPU performance.)

[REQUEST] Asrock X299 XE BIOS unlock

Hello, i was wondering if it would be possible for someone to unlock this bios to expose some options that Intel provides but Asrock does not.

Namely having the option to add a negative offset for specific per core overclolcking, maybe some control over Speedshift, and enabling the  Intel watchdog timer.

I would be willing to compensate anyone who helps me out through paypal, but can't seem to find the specific rules for that on this forum. Might be confusing it for another site.

Lenovo T460 - I need a repair of the BIOS file

Hello,

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T460 with a "broken" BIOS file.

During a BIOS update something has gone wrong.
Now it is not possible to install a BIOS update.
After installing the T460 has to restart to finish the update, but it doesn't restart, no matter how long i wait.
I can plug off an on the electricity and the T460 will boot, but will not finish the update.
Only the old BIOS starts.

Now the T460 needs about 45 seconds to start booting. After booting everything works fine.

I bought a SPI flasher and made a dump of the BIOS file. 
I tried to flash a donor BIOS file form another T460, but it didn't work, the T460 did not boot or start with the donor
BIOS.


I flashed back the original BIOS file and it works with the known failure, it needs 45 seconds to start booting.


I think the original BIOS file is defective, or some parts of it, because a BIOS update has gone wrong.
A donor BIOS file does not work, I think because of some individual Keys or the TMP chip - I dont'know.

Is it possible to repair the defective BIOS file?
I can send you the original dump of the defective BIOS file and a dump of another T460 that works fine.

Of course i will return the favour if anybody can help.

I would like someone to help me unlock all hidden features on Dell e5430. I tried doing it myself but ran into a lot of issues. I couldn't figure out a way extract the .exe so I dumped the BIOS chips using a programmer but upon importing the binaries to modding tools, it either crashes or stops working.

Direct download to .exe here. I have BIOS dump of chip as well. Unfortunately Computrace is enabled permanently, if anyone manages to disable that or preferably reset to deactivated, I'm willing to pay Smile

Hey there,

I AM willing to do it myself but more because I want to learn something new and I also kinda like to have a challenge
BUT
I have to start somewhere and I need someone professional as assistance :/

Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43-R0FC (R0FC is just a variation w/ 2x4GB DDR4 and 512GB M.2)

I also own a CH341 programmer incl. clamp (duh) which works fine, I can create a dump (if I find the bios chip... was on Asus easier)
I also know setup_var which I tested out and it found something to use but I'm not sure, I'll post everything I get so far...


I also tried to find any information about bios modding and setup_var and more by myself but these infos seems to be scattered around (or Google Search isn't configured properly for me  Tongue )

For some models I saw that there is a setup_var for changing the access levels (Link)
But I don't want to brick anything until I have a bios dump! (I'll try to get it this weekend)
I also would guess that they don't work since I have everything AMD and not Intel/Nvidia...
But I'm curious where they get all these variables :/

I found a Lenovo ThinkCentre M700 SFF (Model 10GS) at a thrift store, and was considering upgrading it to turn it into a budget gaming machine. I've already put in a request to add Kaby Lake support (it's H110 chipset with Skylake only at the moment) but it seems I'd need a hardware programmer to do so. With that in mind, it might not be worth the effort. However, I'm still curious if there is a whitelist for wifi and potentially even for GPUs as well. It didn't come with a wifi module, though I know other models in this product line definitely did. I read somewhere online that Lenovo may have only supported certain GPUs on this model, regardless of whether or not the GPU fits physically and is within the power requirement. If this is true, then turning this into a gaming machine is hopeless. So I'm hoping someone can take a look and tell me if a whitelist exists, and if so, what parts are supported and how easily the list can be changed.

Hello, I am trying to upgrade my current cpu (AMD A10-9700) with a custom cpu (Ryzen 3 2200G) and tried but computer won't POST or boot. Fans will spin, but no display. Pls could someone remove the whitelist from my bios.

Model: Lenovo Ideacentre 510 15abr (https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/gb/en/produ.../510-15abr)
Current BIOS: M14KT40A Insyde bios, not entirely sure on the specifics (https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds120482)

MSI GE73 Raider RGB 8RF - forgotten BIOS password

Hi,
I have notebook MSI GE73 Raider RGB 8RF to remove BIOS password.
I tried to reflash BIOS with flash from MSI site but it's not working, notebook don't power on, when I flash with original dump notebook working.

I using programmer.

Anyone can help me with this?
