inject Xeon microcode into Intel DG33FB

This request is for an Intel DG33FB motherboard.

I was hoping someone could help me out and inject these microcodes for 771 support.
(half way down the page)

I was able to do this mod on an asus board, from the short guide above, but I'm not sure if this could be done to an Intel BIOS, I couldn't find any info on the subject. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Need help, how i can add slic 2.1 to my HP Compaq DC5800

Help!

If anybody can have a look at this one for me. What im trying to do is flash my bios so its updated to Slic 2.1. Im having a really hard time figuring it out on my own. I would like to be able to instal Windows 7 on my pc. I also hope this is the right place to put my request. Ive been awake far too long and my brain is kinda fried. I always try to do it on my own but this proves to difficult a task for me. So please help me out i will be forever greatfull for any help i can get.

ThinkPad R400 BIOS can't detect SATA HDD in soft reboot

Hello, I got a laptop Thinkpad R400 as a gift.
The problem is in cold boot, BIOS can detect HDD and Windows start ok, but when try restart from Windows e.g soft reboot BIOS can't detect HDD. To start again the laptop must disconnect the power and remove the battery.
What i did:
- update BIOS to latest version - problem remain
- reset BIOS to default settings - problem remain
- change SATA HDD mode in BIOS: AHCI or Computable - problem remain
- change HDD with another new HDD - problem remain
- install another OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 - problem remain

Can anyone help me with BIOS mod for this laptop so that it can find HDD in soft reboot.

Laptop spec:
Lenovo ThinkPad R400 model:7440-WSF
BIOS: 3.24 (7UET94WW)
Phoenix BIOS

I've been looking how to get a BIOS, with overclocking and AHCI in it. IT'S NOT AMI, Award, Phoenix, or anything else. As I checked on BIOS Backup Tool Toolkit, It says the vendor is actually HP. I think they also made Bioses, not sure though.

My BIOS Information

Hi, I was looking at this forum and I found one BIOS that claims some CPU freq set to User, but there is no such option in the BIOS, so I am looking for someone to mod it in
Included, is the already modded BIOS (which I am using right now). ROM is 1MB in size.

Deleted Partition Recovery

Hi All

A few days ago i created a new partition on my external hdd that I was going to install OSX (Hackintosh) onto. OSX installed correctly but it kept giving me boot0:error so i thought it might of been the fact that the 20gb partition was a logical mbr. So i changed it and it still gave me the same problem

After that i tried formatting the partition with disk utility and it gave me a error (which i neglected to write down) which resulted in all partitions on the disk being corrupted/deleted. This is what is shown when i connect the disk to Acronis Disk Director

Disk 2 (MBR)
'Local Volume' | 910.5GB | | Primary MBR | Not Formatted | Healthy
Unallocated | 931.5GB |

I tried running Acronis Recovery Expert and it was able to detect that i had 2 deleted partitions but the thing is it took 5 hours just to be able to continue to the next step, during this time the indicator light on the hdd never stops blinking. But when i click on next the RecoveryExpert program crashes.

I have tried EaseUS and Minitool Partition Recovery but when i try and open the program with the hdd plugged in, the program stays at the loading screen and it never opens while the indicator light keeps blinking. I also tried running the hdd through testdisk on Ubuntu but the program idles at the disk selection screen after i select proceed and the indicator light also keeps blinking

The external harddrive is a WD Elements 1TB and i only got it a month ago. Please help i have so much important data on there and im about to cry because ive tried everything
