[REQUEST] Netbook Samsung N510 unlock AHCI mode to use with SSD

Hi everyone.
I have a problem with unlocking AHCI mode in bios for Netbook Samsung N510 (manufacture date 2009)
I have the original bios file in exe extension but managed to extract wph file by hex calulator.
Is there anyone that could modify this bios (phoenix bios) to manage SSD Gigabyte 256gb (GP-GSTFS31256GTND)?
In zip there is a self updating bios file and in other attachment is an extracted wph file.
Can anyone modify or add string to be enable to use AHCI mode?
My bios is updated with this one below so after unlocking would I upgrade it with this modified bios?

Other question.
I have 4gb ram as there is only one slot. I see only 3gb ram in the OS but the memory is used for Nvidia ION 512mb.
Is there a way to attach on hard 512mb of ram to Nvidia and rest 3,5gb for OS?
I have only Atom N270 cpu in 32bit and it doesn't have 64bit support or 36bit PAE

My chipset is Nvidia nForce 730i Rev. B1 - MCP79

Hi comrades,

I suppose you guys have a pretty busy schedule out there..
But if you have a few moments to spare, and have a charitable soul, can you make that bios (below) more cooperative, so that he let me plug my big egpu in his tiny little pcie 1x hole...
I think it's a whitelist issue, black screen from the abyss (not the movie) when booted up...

My config is :
Laptop : Asus K53TK (amd chip of course..)
BIOS : AMI v206
EGPU : exp gdc v8 with geforce gtx 1050 Ti

Can somebody please help me with my Fujitsu Lifebook AH512 Bios?  I need a mod for unlocking the CPU Hyper-threading. 
The thing is that i have upgraded my laptop from B960 Pentium to i5-3320m 2 cores/4 threads capable CPU

The problem: 
i5-3320m CPU is currently running with 2 cores/2 threads.. multithreading is missing.

The MB has the HM75 chipset by intel and should have Hyper-threading technology, but obviously it is disabled i guess. 
Beside this problem the CPU was perfect fit. ..the same TDP 35W. 
The BIOS is upgraded to the latest, before the install of the new CPU and i have made new install of the Windows 8.1 but nothing is changed.
In the BIOS there is no option for Hyper-threading enable/disable.
By manufacturer's data sheet for this model of notebook (Lifebook AH512) at that time, several CPU's were available:
Intel® Pentium® B960
Intel® Pentium® 2020M
Intel® Core™ i3-2348M (2 core/4 threads)
Intel® Core™ i3-2328M (2 core/4 threads)
Intel® Celeron® B830
Intel® Celeron® B820
Intel® Celeron® M 1000M
I believe this problem can be fixed with modifying the BIOS in which i do not have knowledge.

3. UDMA mode limitation
In the older Award BIOSes was the HDD set to highest supported mode, it was not problem when only UDMA33 HDDs were produced, but later problem arised: HDD was programmed to e.g. 66 MHz and chipset maximum was 33 MHz, the result was unreliable operation. There are some solutions, switch off UDMA in BIOS setup at all, or use special program supplied by HDD manufacturer and switch off ATA/66 support. Better way is to implement this directly into the BIOS code. FYI:
UDMA mode 2 = ATA/33
UDMA mode 4 = ATA/66
UDMA mode 5 = ATA/100
UDMA mode 6 = ATA/133

hi guys
i plan on upgrading my laptop cpu and i need to add the microcode for the ivy bridge processors to my bios
does anyone know how to do that and can tell me what i need to do?
my laptop is currently running an i5 2450m and i would like to get an i7 3***qm instead.
the chipset is hm65 which also supports ivy bridge.

I want to install Windows to my M.2 SSD via USB installation. Did not expect the BIOS to be locked. Can't access advanced options of the BIOS to do so. I cannot even do a simple OS installation via USB to a 2.5 HDD. I would really appreciate if someone could unlock the BIOS for my laptop. It will really help a lot. Thank you.

ASUS M5A78L-M LX3 MC Update

Hello all together,

I'd like to create an Microcode-updated BIOS for my ASUS M5A78L-M LX3 to get Spectre2-mitigations.
It's a non-UEFI BIOS.
The current processor is an AMD FX-6300, but may change in the next time to a different one.

According to MC Extractor (1.30.0 r102) there are newer microcodes for the following CPUIDs available:
- 00100F41 (010000C6 -> 010000DB)
- 00100FA0 (010000BF -> 010000DC)
- 00600F12 (06000629 -> 0600063E)
- 00600F20 (0600081C -> 06000852)

Searching the internet I found different tutorials telling to hex-edit the new microcodes into the ROM-file and then rebuild one part of the rom using UEFITool. As far as I understand, this doesn't make sense as it's a non-UEFI rom.
I also tried to edit the image using MMTool 3.26, but it doesn't find a "CPU MicroCode Patch Module".

Could someone help me by telling me, how to update the microcode or posting a microcode-updated image.

Hi,

Actually, I don't know my request is timely in 2019. 
I have an old P1, I rebuilt my old PC. I use an Intel AN430TX desktop board. I use it with the latest P10 BIOS. I can't disable onboard VGA in BIOS, and I need extra functions in the BIOS because it is impossible to set correctly in current status. The onboard VGA when not in use, use some resources what I need, and in this Phoenix BIOS, I can't reserve and assign correctly the resources to the cards correctly. 

I use the following cards in my config:

- ASUS 3DP-264GT/PRO (8MB)
- Intel PRO 10

- HP 82341 HP-IB card
- ATI-TV tuner card
- Gravis Ultrasound PnP (8MB)

Hi!


The PC shuts down about 27 seconds after starting to boot with eGPU. Think it's a issue with the BIOS whitelist.
Unlock it for me. I am new around here. Hope you guys navigate me through this. I know i have to share my bios file.. Don't know how to.

Making this post after searching the web for a while for already modded ones.  Sad Tough-luck.. Couldn't find any.

Hi my laptop has a i5-7300HQ its has a max boost of 3.5GHz for one core 3.3GHz for 2 cores, 3.2GHz for 3 cores and 3.1GHz for four cores. I would like if it was possible to raise the four core multiplier to 3.3Ghz to 3.5Ghz. I have tried everything XTU, Throttlestop, SETFSB nothing works. Would anyone be able to change the bios or allow me to change the reference core MHZ past 100MHz? See in XTU I receive a been score in the high 600's the record though on HMBOT is in the 900's with multiple other people in the 900's. Does anyone have any idea how they were able to get such a high score and how can I replicate it? 

Thanks for any input and help it just may not be possible for me to get anymore performance out of it and that is def a bummer.

Also does anyone know how to get the PLL for my computer and then add it into SETFSB I think that could work as well but I just don't know enough yet to do it.

I have this laptop with cpu n4000 and I installed windows 8.1 in it.

W8.0 and w7 won't boot, in w7 I get the "BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant."

The problem I have is with the Graphics card, I can`t see the Intel graphics card listed in Device Manager on Windows 8.1

As I have seen in youtube, for other Lenovo laptops, it is possible in Insyde Bios to unlock the Advanced tab, 

Well, I'll be happy if I can get the graphics cards detected on W8.1 or if I can install w8.0 on it. So I'll need to switch the ACPI version on Bios.

This is a backup of my BIOS I made with the command:  H2OFFT-W.exe backup.bin /g


IMPORTANT! I updated my bios two days ago to the latest official version to see if it can change things and as I read in the readme.txt file, this is some important things to consider:

I hope you can help me guys, as I read in the forum it is possible in some cases to switch the ACPI version in the advanced tab.

I'll be happy if I can see the Intel Graphics card on Windows 8.1 and I will be more happy if I can install windows 8.0 on it. But without the graphics card detected I can't do nothing in w8.1 or w8.0 or w7

So what I want is No Whitelist + Menu Tabs Unlocked
