I'm new here. Can someone help me to get unlocked the BIOS settings on my Asus EeePC 1001PXD and Acer Aspire One D255 ?

My children would be happy if both netbooks would run better.

A very nice thank you to who can help me.

Thank you very much

Hello! I have this ECS P6S5AT motherboard. It is one of the fastest single socket 370 boards but it has very poor BIOS. I need someone to add the following options:

CPU:
- enable overclocking in BIOS:
= 138/138
= 100/150
= 150/150
= 166/166
= 200/200???

RAM:
- set the tRAS to 5

AGP:
- unlock some AGP features.

But the main request is to make this motherboard work properly with TUALATINS at 166 FSB.
The thing is that it works correctly with COPPERMINES only at 166MHz, with tualatins it is very unstable (cache problem?)

Please help!

I attach the latest official BIOS.

msi h81m e33 unlock/mod to allow overclock on non K CPU

$

Hello. I need some help. I want to know if it's possible to do a BIOS mod on a msi h81m e33 to see if it could allow a bit more of OC on non K CPU's. i5 4590 would be the one in this case. I am curious if it's possible, I've seen benchmakrs with this processor at 4.00 GHz or more. How is that even possible? At the moment, it won't go past the Turbo Boost speed of 3,70 GHz. I can lock it to that, but I want to know if more speed can be gained. I'd be happy with 4,00 GHz or a bit more.

I've that Intel banned OC'in of non-K CPU's a long time ago and I guess newer stock BIOS for mobos also locked this, due to legal reasons I suppose.
So can this BIOS be modded to allow more freedom and control of the CPU?

How could I do it myself? Or does anyobody have an already modded BIOS?

Thanks!

I'm at my wits on this and this seemed like one of the few places that maybe can help on the topic.

Lenovo bios flash package readme makes it seem as tho creating a custom logo should be a standard feature.  See below:

I perform that logo function but what I get an error "Child process failed. Return code: 74", see screen capture.  I am running cmd as administrator.  I have also tried a number of different image formats; png, bmp, gif.  It seems to accept the image fine, compresses within limits, but fails whatever the next step is.  Another thing I tried was performing this on a 32 bit instance of Windows 7.  Originally tried on Windows 10 64bit.    The image is a 640x480 image.

I have no problem flashing the bios otherwise, but this option does not work for me.  Really hoping to get it to work.  Seems to be a common practice with lenovo laptops.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to make a bios mod for my acer, I'm trying to get the bios file. I got an isflash.bin file, but when I'm going to make some changes in it from the error and some applications to make modifications says it's not compatible.

I got the file running the application C5V01121.exe made available by the own acer on her site and going in the folder:

 C:\Users\flavio\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS3007.tmp/isflash.bin

I believe this is not the actual bios file because it has 9.2mb

I would also like to know if anyone can unlock it there for me. I've got some hidden options on the bios, but I do not know how I did it.

[REQUEST] Dell Inspiron 910 Bios A07 SD-Card boot and Slic

Hello Everyone,

I'm from austria and trying to use my old mini notebook, but it has a very rare Pata msata port installed and can't upgrade it to a real sata SSD. It can boot Windows 7 from USB-port, but not from SD-card-port.

I kindly request a Biosmod, to be able to boot from SD-card and use a 128 GB SD-Card as a substitute for the SSD.
The Bios from Dell is a executable file and I could't extract the rom-file.
https://www.dell.com/support/home/at/de/...id=r265992

or we can use the bios update file for Vostro A90. It is compatible to Inspiron mini and I extracted the rom-file from it. Included as an attachment
https://www.dell.com/support/home/at/de/...90/drivers
it schould automaticaly open the english site.

A Slic update would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time and effort.

Yours truly

Test with WindowsToGo:
I really don't want this notebook to be trashed. At the moment I've installed Windows 7 to go with Microsoft Office 2016 on a micro SD card through an USB cardreader. It boots and is faster than I thought. The notebook works really fine for me. Youtube 480p plays fluidly on Firefox without addons.

Next step:
WindowsToGo on a SD card with A2 Standart.

I would gladly accept tips to "DIY" my bios.

hello everyone. I've got an ARK-3500P ipc here on which I need the port60/64 usb legacy keyboard emulation feature. This feature is missing from the bios configuraton options. Legacy usb support is available and enabled, but this does not enable port60/64 emulation.

I've attached a dump of the bios flash chip to this post. It would be absolutly fantastic if one of you could have a look at enabling this option for me.
Thank you!

Gigabyte J4005N D2P - Enable Chipset Menu Request

I've been [censored] around with this bios for a little bit now and have been able to enable all the other menus except for Chipset.  Chipset exists in a menu called Setup that exists at the same level as Main.  I accidentally booted into the Setup menu one time and don't know how I did it.  If anyone knows how I was able to do that and could let me know that would be great!  I assume its some sort of key combination I accidentally hit.

I either need to know how to enable the setup menu or default to the setup menu so I can access the chipset menu, or add the chipset menu under another menu like advanced.

Here is a link to the bios: http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/BIO...d2p_f3.zip

Here you can see the two forms.  And yes I have tried editing this in HxD and changing the 46 to a 47 but since I'm not able to get to this form, it doesn't do me any good.

Thank you!

Huanan X58 unlcocked overclock options

Hello everyone! I want to do a little overclock to my Xeon X5680, i will be happy reaching the @3.6Ghz on all cores (I use my pc for gaming with the HT disabled, sometimes i activate it for games like doom that takes advantage of almost all the CPU cores), but my motherboard, apparently, doesn't have options to increase the BCLK or it doesn't apply in Windows, If you question me why i need to reach that overclock is for equalize/surpass the performance of the i5 8600k @stock. I know that my motherboard will not reach high overclock like @4.5Ghz so that's why I'm content with that overclock. I will be posting images so that you can help me because I'm reinstalling windows (BSOF)

PD: My english is poor, sorry for that Sad
