Lenovo g500 Remow Whitelist

Hi

I have problem with Lenovo g500 remow witlist
I have wifi module Intel AC7260 dual band and want change it for laptop
But i dont now how remov whitelist corectly. I do not know where to find Pid / Vid. How correct HEX code.

Can someone help me?

MSI GT60 2PE Dominator EC Firmware Recovery?

I bricked my laptop (MSI GT60 2PE) while trying to update the EC firmware and now it won’t boot past the MSI logo. I cannot access BIOS at all Angry . It seems the system wasn't powered off long enough for the EC firmware to reset after flashing. I wrote down the BIOS and EC before flashing:
 
BIOS: E6F41MS.50V (didn’t touch)
EC: 16F4EMS1 v. 7.13 (trying to update to 16F4EMS1 v. 717)
 
I have tried:
 
1.    Resetting EC by removing battery and power supply and pressing power button for 1-2 minutes.
2.    Pressing F3 five times immediately after boot.
3.    Removing all hard drives and optical drives. Boots to a stationary cursor.
4.    With hard drives and optical drives removed, I copied the firmware into a USB thumb drive formatted into FAT 32, plugged it into the only USB 2 port, rebooted the system, which still couldn’t detect the drive
 
MSI and local computer repair shop all suggest a new motherboard, so I’m here seeking any help  Rolleyes

Hello Bios-Modders,

my name ist Hashtopher and I would like to change the Intel-8265 wifi-card to the Intel-9260 or Killer-1550. I also would like, if it's possible, to put a mini m.2 ssd into the wwan slot. After research I found out that only the custom change of the bios will allow me to do so.
That's why I ask if somebody can help me changing the bios.

Model: HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx
BIOS Rev. F15 A

Looking to unlock the TDP so that the 8550u can run at 30 watts and not throttle after 15 seconds. 

I opened the bios in the PhoenixTool app and It didn't claim it was encrypted but it does have an accompanying .sig file that I can upload as well if needed.  Confused  Name your priceee

BGA CPU upgrade - should I expect problems?

I got one of these Acer plastic craps (this very configuration) which does not turn on, it does nothing at all. My guy with resoldering station claims it's bad CPU, as always. It's the Silvermont Atom aka Pentium N3520. So I've been thinking about replacing it with N3530 or N3540 right away (these are such craps that every MHz counts), it is the same silicon just with slightly better dynamic frequency (both CPU&GPU turbo). He claims there will be problems with BIOS etc., I think it's nonsense as it is the same thing, the frequency is driven by the CPU itself, not BIOS, right? Whaddaya ppl think?

Toshiba Satelite Pro L450 - Upgrade to T7300

Hello, hopefully someone can assist me.

I have successfully upgraded my Toshiba L450 from a T7300 cpu.

It works fine but on boot up it error "No microcode update loaded for alternate processor" press F1,

I have the Bios from  V1.5 but the problem persists

I tried to add a new cpu microcode, but it still does not work.

Please Help Me

E1-531 HM77 Upgrade still shuts down in 30min

We upgraded the HM70 E1-531 Laptop with a HM77 Motherboard and an i7 3520m which wasn't actually an official CPU in this laptop? Could this be a problem? But physically it should work, I think. Does anyone has an idea why this laptop still shuts down every 30min? We tried even a unlocked BIOS?

BIOS UNLOCK - Acer Predator Helios 300 8750h - an515-52-70GN

Hi.
I have bought NTB with almost top of range CPU but I really need to dump W10 and install W7. (resurrecting bulletproof apps like Cisco VPN every couple of days with reinstall and regedit tweaks really isn't an option for me)

I've picked Acer because of value/money and somewhat solid construction (in comparison with Lenovo or entry-level Dell construction).

But the BIOS settings are so crippled it would only fit noobs with entry-level $300-400 Lenovo.
Fellas in Acer are insane to put such crippled BIOS options to Notebook with 6 cores and VT-d (imagine running VMware with various distro's of Linux having virtualization capability of VT-direct I/O but not having ability to run HW in compatibility mode when most of HW does have OPROM).
I've wasted 3 days trying to run UEFI Windows 7 install with NVMe and USB3.0 drivers included without any success (crashing at disk.sys load)
 

Please advice a SW to dump a BIOS (current one is 1.09 and Insydeh20 is rev. 5.0) and when I upload it, please unlock the advanced settings (I need )

Automatic power on mod

Hi. Im using Acer 5742G with broken screen as my car PC.
Now i have set up to automaticly power off when charger is disconnected, but i want:

to pc automaticly power on laptop when charger is connected.
And i have battery in it.

Is it possible?

Im using unlocked insyde H20 bios.
