Hi,

Please can I request a UNLOCKED BIOS s/w for:
UK retail
Acer Aspire 5750G
Running Windows 7 64bit
Insyde H20
BIOS Version 1.21

The BIOS was flashed from within windows via Acer's tool and specific BIOS version here:

I have attached all screenshots of my BIOS for reference.

Please can anyone confirm if the unlocked BIOS will finally allow 16GB installed to show and not capped to 8GB (memory is tested good individually).

[REQUEST]Satellite C655D-S5518 Advanced BIOS Options

Hi. I have a request. I tried to acces all options on my Bios, with no luck. Then tried to mod my bios, too much for my brain, and few information about modding. I downgrade my lastest bios (1.80), for one modded here(1.60), but was the same, no acces to FSB, Multiplier, Voltaje, acces to integrated graphics. Nothing.
The Bios is this - BIOS (original from Toshiba website)
I wish someone can make these options available so I can overclock this (CPU, and the integrated GPU, is a E-300 APU so it has a GPU core). (I know is dangerous in a laptop but this laptop is for experimenting), i bought it for less than 30 US Dollars hoping i can overclock, but... I HATE CAP BIOSES!!. Thanks and in any case, if is some tutorial anywere to learn how to mod bios, gladly i will learn.
PS: sorry for my english.

Hello there, please i need help unlocking my bios to show all hidden settings on my acer v15 nitro vn7-592g-70en
i followed a thread on unlocking bios for acer vn7 laptops but i realised there is an SPI lock on my laptop so i cant cant get past this

grub>
13. Enter setup_var 0x258 0x1 in command line
14. Enter setup_var 0x258 in command line to check the value of a variable (0x0 - disabled, 0x1 - enabled)
15. Enter reboot - restart the notebook

i always get an error and hidden settings remain hidden
Help needed please

I wish to be able to see the overclocking tabs and memory timing etc ,
If anyone can help me out that would be great.

I tried AMIBCP but i get an error that the setup tab will not be displayed due to the amount of string in the bios exceeds 15000.

Bios chip turns off laptop

Hello, I recently bought a mainboard to replace another one that has an i5 processor (for video problem), the fact is that when turning on the computer a black screen appears with a white line.

I unsoldered the bios of my i5 mainboard and soldered it on the purchased mainboard.
What happens now is that when I turn everything on but it turns off (after 1min), I've changed thermal paste and it's still the same.
I have read that the mainboard with the old bios can give problems with other processors newer. I've also flash .bin to the new one and happen the same

My mainboard i5:       MB K000092520 WK A13K
                                LA 5322P, bios V2.20
the one that I bought: MB K000092520 WK A02K
                                 LA 5322P, bios V1.20

I ask if anyone can help to modified with some mod to recognize my processor i5.

[Request] Asus M2N-CM DVI

Hello,
I need a custom BIOS for the ASUS M2N-CM DVI Motherboard with an option to disable Chassis Intrusion.
I tried to open up the BIOS myself with AMIBCP v3.46 but I am completely new to bios modding and did not
find a way to disable chassis intrusion.

It would be really great if someone could make me a bios with an option to disable Chassis Intrusion Big Grin

PS: If you want to know:
I have an old motherboard but it shows "Chassis Intrusion Fatal error System halted" when I try to boot.
I have this problem for several weeks and trust me I tried everything! Resetting CMOS does not help, I looked
at the manual a hundred times and all the jumpers are correct and I tried several ones and I googled nearly every thread
that has something to do with chassis intrusion but all of this did not work. Unfortunately, there is
no option in the BIOS to turn of chassis intrusion or to ignore boot errors.

E6600 on Fujitsu-Siemens D2151-A2

Hi,

I have a Fujitsu-Siemens D2151-A2 mainboard and a Intel Pentium Processor E6600 3.06 GHz 1066 MHz FSB
OS: Windows 8.1x64 Pro and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
The CPU was not recognized (half speed) and the mainboard kept asking for microcode update (not available).

Aida64 CPUID:

It said "Multiplier 6x - 11.5x" but it was set to 6x.
After following the instructions from https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-T...ode-Update
it's not asking for microcode update but it shows "Multiplier 6x" and it's set to 6x.

What I tried:
- resetting Bios settings;
- setting "Performance" instead of Auto/Silent in Bios;
- setting Control Panel >> Power options >> High Performance
- stressing the CPU to max
So far no change in reported frequency (before and after the update with 2950 microcode).

What I haven't tried: disconnecting again the cooler, reading the CPU spec code and connecting the cooler back hoping the MB will
reset the CPU multiplier when it will notice it was removed and inserted again...
Every time I connect the cooler back I have the fear its plastiq will desintegrate... (sorry my english)

Anyone can help me please?

Hello  Bios-Mods ,
I have the above Sony Vaio Model : SVE1513H1E(W)

I've recently bought a Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
as many other's has , I do also have a problem with my BIOS not whitelisting my WWAN upgrade.
it does shows the hardware in the device manager.
it does shows up as in full spec's
but it is impossible to activate the WIFI (Wifi State is ON , there is no option to switch ON/OFF als no hardware key)
my laptop hardware WIRELESS light is on.
but it is off in the Windows (W10)
I hope there's a solution to this.

Hello all masters here:

I encounter a problem when I try to mod the bios becomes Dell Slic 2.1 compatible. When I insert the certificate file into verify item in PhonexTool v2.5 I got the error message as attached. Anyone can tell me how to fix it? Thanks

HP 4720s - after modding bios (new post Logo) laptop goes black screen

Hi friends,

i have one problem. I am learning modified bios on my HP 4720s and i am using UEFITool. I have external flash programmer for eeprom, when i readed eeprom on the motherboard and this dump i have modded by UEFITool, then i wrote new modded bios to motherboard eeprom. I am laptop turn up, my laptop goes black screen and i dont know, what i do it wrong. My first project is change post Logo HP.

I am use UEFITool and edit it the original bios dump, i am search when is logo -> extract body ->  replace body with new logo ... and save image.

Can you help me any body PLEASE, what I am doing wrong? I am very apologize for my English. I add to attachment my original bios dump, and my modded bios dump for HP 4720s.
