Hello, Intel has released newest microcodes for Spectre and Meltdown but my laptops bios doesn't include them (obviously). I hope someone can help me with it.  Tongue

CPU microcode removal request: Gigabyte EP45T-Extreme

I would request someone with Award bios tool to remove Wolfdale cpu (E8200-E8700, especially E8400 and E8500) microcodes from Gigabyte GA-EP45T-Extreme bios F5i bios for my project. Download link to F5i bios: http://download.gigabyte.asia/FileList/B...me_f5i.exe

With the cpu microcodes removed the cpus still work fine in the board, it gives unknown cpu error or similar but performance is actually faster in some scenarios. I have tested this a lot with Rampage Extreme and wolfdale cpus.

Hi guys, i will need your help to insert Unicode for Xeon X5460 (LGA771) in my dell inspiron 530.

Current Motherboard : Foxconn G33M02 (LGA775)
Current CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 (LGA775)
Currenct BIOS version : Dell (Phoenix Award) BIOS 1.0.18


The pictures joined is with the current processor. i will install the Xeon X5460 once Unicode is inserted to the bios.

hello world. i am new to overclocking and would like to do so to my slowing lenovo.
It is a I3-2100 cpu at 3.10GHz
core 2 with 6 gigs ram.
bios is version DPKT22a
socket 1155 LGA
Sandy Bridge rev 09
Southbridge H61 rev 03

if anyone could help me learn and accomplish this i would be most grateful.

Hi guys, i will need your help to insert Unicode for Xeon X5460 (LGA771) in my dell inspiron 530. I tryed to extract the bios file using command prompt (dellbiosfilename.exe /writeromfile) but the .exe just run as an normal installation and won't let me extract the .exe file.

Current Motherboard : Foxconn G33M02 (LGA775)

Currenct BIOS version : Dell (Phoenix Award) BIOS 1.0.18
 (BIOS currently locked by Dell)

So my Bios died on my Acer laptop and the only option I have is to reflash it, I did find a article online for Lenovo laptops so im roughly going of that. I orderd the connector and the usb adaptor but after that i have no idea at all. Please help

Hi guys,
The windows of my Thinkpad T450s is corrupted and I don't remember the Supervisor Password which it set earlier. I assume that the password might be removed if I flash the chip with the new clean BIOS ".bin" file. May I ask if someone has a clean T450s BIOS file that can share with?

I don't know what forum topic of the BIOS should go, but I saw American Megatrends, Inc. so I thought it was the long words for AMI. Anyway, moving aside, I have a CM5575 OEM board (which is a locked P7H55-M SI) and yet it has no OC options. So maybe I need some help here, hehe. Sorry.

I'll include the OEM board's ROM and the retail board's ROM too, just in case.
