T430 Optimus (v2.74 / 2017-10-1) Whitelist Removal Request

I've updated my Lenovo T430 Optimus to the most currently available official firmware v2.74 (updated 2017-10-1). I was able to shrink and disable Intel ME; the laptop will work with this modification. Now I just need a whitelist removal to make the firmware as good as possible. I've attached the firmware and added a link to Dropbox (just in case). Thank you to this awesome community!

FYI - I do have an external flasher. I was able to get Coreboot to work to a degree but only with the NVidia GPU disabled. I will continue to work on getting a working Coreboot image and post it should I ever accomplish that.

Extract T430 Optimus NVidia GPU (NVS 5400M) Bios

I don't need any modifications per se, but I'm having a hard time getting a usable VGA option ROM for the T430 NVidia GPU. I've used all the usual Coreboot repo tools and they don't seem to be able to find the VGA option ROM inside the firmware dump. I can get Coreboot to run fine via the Intel GPU but it somewhat obviously needs the option ROM for the NVidia GPU to make it usable. I've attached an unmodified dump of the firmware with the 8MB + 4MB chip dumps combined as a Dropbox link. I simply need someone with more experience than I to locate and extract the NVidia VGA option rom in this firmware dump.Thank you!

Hi! I am trying to enable advanced menu on my notebook, but i get some problems and need your help) 

Menu as is:

I found due the UEFITool in bios update "XMAKB5R0P0300.BIN" menu form-sets in SetupUtility file. From which one i extracted with IFR Extractor ver 0.2 following:

There is an advanced menu with all settings, but it is hidden. The GUID C6D4769E-7F48-4D2A-98E9-87ADCCF35CCC is used in SetupUtility and in PcdSmmDxe. All other menu GUIDs can be found only in SetupUtility and SetupUtilityApp. So i thought, that i can replace the GUID from main menu item and advanced item with each other in hex editor. I extracted SetupUtility with Phoenix Tool(UEFITool v44 can not replace files), changed hex values and replaced this file in BIOS image. But if i try to flash it, i get error, that the image is not ok and BIOS will recover. It has some where checksum and i don`t know where it should be changed. Also i tried to change this values in dump file from my BIOS, but i can not flash them, because i get error: "it only supports to flash secure bios on current platform. the image to be updated is not a secure bios ".
Well, i don`t know how to proceed it further and need help.

Hello everyone,  Cool

Recently I bought a Samsung 850 EVO SSD and I was wondering if my board could support Sata GenIII.
After some research, I found that there is a hidden option in BIOS that enables this option.

My Computer is a NP500P4C-AD3BR (Cheers from Brazil)
And my Phoenix UEFI Bios Version is: P08RAB

If anyone in this forum could help me patching the BIOS or giving me at least some direction I would be very happy  Big Grin Big Grin  .

Files included in the ZIP:

- Folder with Bios Update Files (captured from %appdata%/Local/Temp) (Probably won't useful  Tongue )
- BIOS.BIN (dumped directly from DOS FTP)
- IFR info (extracted using UEFITool and IFR Extractor)

Hi, I’m trying to recovery de BIOS on a bricked notebook, because doesn’t boot and
BIOS don’t save changes.

The BIOS download file is:

With Phoenix tool I don’t found the file name. I try UEFITool_A45 and search for
.bin and .fd and only found isflash.bin but no lucky.

My current bios version is c2cn19ww (v2.00)

File names that I’m write too:

WinAIWZ0202.bin
AIWZ0202.bin
AIWZ0.bin
BAIWZ0.bin
C2_Crisis.bin
isflash.bin

and some others forms with .fd, and .rom

Unlock Acer Extensa 5635Z Bios

Hello guys,

I am kindly asking anyone to unlock the Pheonix Bios of the Acer Extensa 5635Z.

1. CPU-Z shows my Bios is Phoenix v1.3311 (12/21/2009)
2. Acer page from my country shows 2 Bios options. Which one is the newest/right version? The higher version number has the older date!
  1. 1. Fixes RTC_RST issue. 2. Changes EC bios to V0.41. [2010/02/08 - Version 3311 - 5,1 mb] DOWNLOAD
  2. BIOS [2011/04/12 - Version 3310 - 3,1 mb] DOWNLOAD
3. Acer page from the USA shows 1 Bios option. It's the same version as the second on my country's page.

I have a Lenovo G500 laptop with IntelHD 4000 that is having problems due to the hard coded video memory size and also WiFi card.
I have tried to find pre-modded BIOS but all links are deleted =(

My exact error message, when booting with my new yet useless Intel 9260NGW, "Wireless Module not supported. The system has detected a Wireless module insert in the system that is not supported. System halted. Please remove device and reset. Bluetooth Module ID (704)."

NOTE-1: The BlueTooth ID (704) is brand-new for late-2017, normally the ID is (703) but that is not my scenario.

NOTE-2: I'm asking for the "latest" BIOS due to recent security outbreaks and too many bugs in earlier BIOS.

NOTE-3: Willing to negotiate PayPal donation for something that's guaranteed to work and is idiot-proof.
