BIOS Unlock for ASUS IPIBL-LB(HP Benecia)

Well, I'm not so sure if they had any hidden options, Also is it possible to make a custom BIOS?

(BTW, I included the BIOS exe thing. As now we can't find this piece of software anywhere more.) (Not modified, for who needs to download the original SP46442.exe or IPIBL-LB 5.43 Bios.)

Hi, I have a Lenovo X230 i5 with bios v2.70 (G2ETB0WW, 25-Sep-17)


Can someone help me with 
- remove all the white-list (WLAN/WWAN/Battery if possible)
- 16GB + eGPU fix
for me, please ?

[Request] Add missing C1E Disable Option

Hello everyone
I've got an Acer MG43M mainboard (Intel G43 chipset).
Being an enterprise motherboard, several options are missing from the BIOS,and that would normally not be a problem.
Lately, I installed a Xeon E5430 CPU on it (it's easy, see http://www.delidded.com).
I added the missing microcode to the latest bios, and it worked on first try.
The only problem is that Xeon doesn't play very well with C1E (Enhanced Halt State) and one of the options this BIOS is missing is the one to disable it.
Can someone please help me adding this option back in the bios?
Attached file contains both the original bios and the one with the updated microcode.

Toshiba Tecra S5 with 8gb ram

Hi,

For the fun I have upgrade my old laptop a Toshiba Tecra S5 with 8gb ram.
Yes, the specifications say: max = 4gb ram.
The BIOS see the full 8gb ram, my OS, Linux Mint 18.2 - 64 bits only 4gb.
Somewhere in the BIOS this is blocked at 4gb.

But is it possible with loading a custom DSDT to have the full 8gb.
If yes, where do I have modified the 'dsdt.dsl' file?

remove firmware update base/travel keyboard from bios x2 1012 g1

Hi

Is it possible to remove the firmware update of the base/travel keyboard what is in this bios ?
it causes for trouble when i update the keyboard, it keeps turning on ans off again, already started a topic at hp but no help there.
with the old bios all is ok, when I update it it will update the keyboard as well, when i first disconnect the keyboard it all keep working. ( so keyboard on old firmware is just fine)
so if that firmware check or update can be removed it would be great !

reason:
I would like to use the newest bios and keep using my travel keyboard (offcourse)

Need it unlocked so that i can unlock cpu/gpu overclocking in intel xtreme utility.
If a downgrade is required please tell me and I can find and older version.
And I know it's probably not worth your time and effort but it means a lot to me. So if any modder can help it would be an immense favour.

Hi!

I am unable to flash bios a05 for dell m6800 to any other version - tried all options available..

I am willing to pay for mod which will allow to unpack and flash latest BIOS ver a019 for this laptop.

Anyone can help?

Please help, my CPU is so slow without OC. I am willing to work on developing or modding my own BIOS if anyone feels like teaching me how.

Here is what I have: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03885123 It goes by "Memphis-S", or 2AF7 and uses an AMI Bios (80.23). I think there is an ASUS equivalent of this board also. If had the exact model number of the matching ASUS board I might have some luck flashing that ROM or using it as a base for modding my own rather than starting with HP's version.

I'm attaching the ROM dump/backup of the current BIOS to this thread.

Acer V3-771G, disabled internal graphics device in bios, picture not showing anymore

I have Acer V3-771G laptop with InsydeH20 rev. 3.7 bios, version 2.28 and all the settings unlocked. I disabled ”Internal graphics device” because I thought it would disable integrated graphics and then I could have used dedicated gpu only. But now my laptop’s monitor won’t turn on at all. I cannot even use external displays via vga or hdmi. I tried resetting bios by opening my laptop and taking bios battery out. I did that twice. Didn’t help. Now my only(?) option is to do emergency flash procedure which would go like this according my laptop’s service manual:

1. Format the USB storage disk using the Fast Format option.
2. Save ROM file (file name: VAG70X64.fd) to the root directory of USB storage. Make sure
that there is no other BIOS file saved in the same directory.
3. Plug USB storage into USB port.
4. Press <Fn+ESC> button then plug in AC power.
5. The Power button flashes once.
6. Press Power button to initiate system CRISIS mode.
7. When CRISIS is complete, the system auto restarts with a workable BIOS.
8. Update the latest version BIOS for this machine by regular BIOS flashing process.

Now the problem is that when I plug AC adapter in (step 4), my laptop powers on immediately, without pressing any button. So step 5 never happens. Is there another way to do this? Or a way to plug AC in so that it does not power on my pc automatically?

My first thought how to fix this issue was to enter bios blindly and press F9 which would restore default settings and then press F10 to save and exit. The problem is that nothing happened. I think that nothing happens behind the screen. I have set Skype to login automatically when I sign to Windows (my Windows account is the only account and no pw so it goes straight to desktop). I asked someone else to look if my account signs in Skype but it never did even if I waited long time...

Hi guys. I have Hp bc202nt. I tried for unlocked but I failed. I actually could not figure out where to start. Do you have any help for me? Because it's an irritating situation. Many HP models use this bios. But I did not find it unlocked. If there is an helper friend, the file is below.. THX
