Hi Guys !

I would like to access to all setting in my laptop's BIOS, it is an InsydeH20.
My computer is a Belgium HP Pavillion DV7-4120EB

And just 2 more questions :

1) Is there anyway to increase the memory allowed to my GPU ? I looked at my pc specs on HP's website and they told me that my coputer could ave at maximum 1.6go of memory for graphics, actually I only have 512mb...

2) I recently updated my BIOS to version F.29 (which is downloadable from the link given before) and on HP's drivers page there is an utility to update the BIOS by UEFI,but my computer is unable to boot from UEFI, furthermore the utility given by HP is just creating an UEFI bootable USB key to update the PC which could not boot from UEFI....

Hello friends, looking to play around with the bios in a hp pavilion hpe h8-1017c, I have a update bios file, and a dump of the current bios, I was given a dozen or so of these machines by a client, just looking to explore, figure no harm if I nuke a few boards.

BIOS File unreadable or it is something else?

My laptop BIOS settings can be Legacy or UEFI, but the problem is that I forgot the Supervisor Password. I'm completely locked out. I did everything like resetting RAM, CMOS, draining cmos. etc. I even contacted Dell for the backdoor password and It did not work. They just told me to replace my motherboard.

So I've tried many way. I also tried to download the latest BIOS in Dell website for my laptop. and I tried to install it in my non Dell PC in order to get the ".fd" file in it. I copy it in my new fresh formatted 3.0 USB FAT32 and I proceed by pressing the END key while my laptop is unplugged. and after plugging it the lights where blinking. but no still no display I waited for over 5 minutes and still no display. I try to unplugged my USB and still showing the Dell logo and asking for my supervisor password. which means that the upgrade did not work.

What do you recommend guys? THANKS.

using a 16GB 3.0 USB . and plugging it in 2.0 Port.

Everytime I press END button and Plugging in the DC connection. my laptop will flash its led light but no display. (my lcd is still working and my unit is BIOS locked)

I saw the lights blinking just like 8 seconds and then It will turn off.

Is there something wrong?

hello devs am pretty new to this bios modding so
I used Donovan's guide so :
so I didn't find the jump that makes the setup utility skip the advanced tab so I thought of changing one of the tabs that I already got with the advanced tab
for example change the security tab with the advanced one but the problem I encountered is that tried to change the hex values so I could get the tab offset but no luck I didn't get it as I am new to hex editing also

so I was willing that someone could help through this process or unlock it for me ,I would be very great full for that person so much

Gigabyte Ultra Durable 4 Classic GA-P75-D3 Desktop Motherboard - Intel B75 Express Chipset - Socket H2 LGA-1155 I have an intel 3350p and in turbo mode it only goes to 3.3 ghz. I saw someone overclock the same cpu to 3.7 but their bios is unlocked. So I was wondering what bios you would recommend for me. Thank you.
