MSI Z87-I Unlock Riser Card Support (Bifurcation) and Unlock Voltage Limit

Hello,

I've got Msi Z87-I Mini Itx motherboard.
Bios version is 1.9.

Is it possible the enable the bifurcation support and unlock the 1.3V cpu core voltage limit? I know only Asrock supports bifurcation via their (beta) bios. X99-Z87-Z97-Z170 chipsets natively supports bifurcation technology and all Asrock mini itx boards support. (Z series and X99)

I've read some bifurcation threads on the internet and ask msi for possibility and they responded very quickly.

ASUS X53SV-SX239V I7 (board K53SV rev 2.3): BIOS dimension

Hello. 
This notebook is completely dead and I haven't found any hardware issue. I would try to flash the SPI BIOS directly desoldering the chip from the board and burning with my programmer.
I'm searching the BIOS file for this notebook, but every file I've found has a dimension of 2560Kb. Since the BIOS is contained in a Windbond 25V032 SPI memory, so BIOS file is 4096Kb I'm in doubt on how to work in this situation...
I haven't found any other memory in the board, so the only flash is the 25V032...
Comparing the files (original and downloaded from ASUS) it appears that they are completely different...
I attached 2 files:
K53SVAS (from ASUS site): 2560Kb
25032 (from the chip of the board): 4096Kb

Lenovo T450s bios/supervisor password (help needed, will donate)

Hello,

A complete beginner here so I am sorry if I say or ask something stupid.
Recently I wanted to upgrade to Windows 10 on my Lenovo ThinkPad T450s 20BW. When I tried to access the BIOS settings I realized I need a supervisor password to access BIOS. I don't have the papers that came with the laptop and I don't remember the password. If I just press Enter I can access the BIOS settings but many options there I can't modify. I read somewhere I can try to unplug the CMOS battery and regular battery. After trying that I am in even more trouble because now I have Error 0271 - Check Date and Time Settings on the screen when I turn on the laptop. I spoke to Lenovo support since my laptop is still under warranty but they want to replace the motherboard which is insanely expensive. I was told my laptop is a newer generation of Lenovo laptops that store the supervisor password differently comparing to older models and resetting the EEPROM chip using jumper method will not work. I was also told the supervisor password can be recovered or reset with the help from the people here if I have the dump from the BIOS chip. 
Anybody here can help? Willing to donate if my laptop is fixed.

dc5800 enable AHCI mode

HP dc5800 Minitower

Been tearing my hair out here trying to hack this together and coming up against a brick wall. Confused Huh

BIOS is currently set in IDE mode (8086,2921)

I would like to enable AHCI mode (8086,2922)

From what I understand, This machine uses an ICH9 / Q33 chipset.

I have looked around the raw bios image for these values but can't understand where to make the required modification.

[Request] Dell D630 Intel T9800 Support

Hi everyone , thanks for any help

I'm upgrading my old laptop Dell D630 from the CPU T7250 to T9800.

After changed the CPU, it's not working at all. The power light turn on for a second and off itself without showing anything on the screen . 

Do anyone can help me to add the micro code of T9800 into the bios of D630?

My problem: My laptop is very slow. In event viewer I found Kernel-Processor-Power event 37 - The speed of processor 0 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware etc..

Lenovo Y50-70 extended oc gtx860m

I have Lenovo Y50-70 which has gtx860m 2gb and i5 4200h

I can oc now +135 mhz core clock but i want more because, gtx750ti,gtx850m,gtx860m,gtx950m,gtx960m use same chip with different voltages and clocks and rams, If the laptop has good cooling, it can be overclocked ,I think.

If I buy gtx960m laptop, it has chip which gtx860m use. Instead of buy another pc, i want to oc my card. I think their oc limit similarly.

The other is I want to enable turbo clock on multi cpu i5 4200h. I know it cause more heat but, I can control it with control center, some times i need higher clocks.

In comparison to other devices with similar CPU, the Cinebench Multi-core Rendering test reveals that full potential of the CPU is not entirely used (minus 15-30%). In a matter of seconds, clock speeds are limited to 2.5 GHz (basis clock pulse). That happens independently of the chip temperature and is most likely set by Lenovo in order to keep the exhaust heat of the CPU within reasonable ranges. The single-core test is very well performed; clock speeds are between 3.3 and 3.5 GHz.

Hello. I have an asus ux32vd notebook. The trottling works when temperature reaches 90 degrees. If to stitch Bios that the trottling does not join also the maximum temperature of 93-94 degrees. When I reboot the notebook the trottling joins on 90 degrees again.

Whether it is possible to establish inclusion of a trottling of 95 degrees in Bios?

Hi everyone! I have a Gericom n251s6 motherboard with AMI bios 07.00t , and I want to recognize a bigger cpu with 3ghz because I have an 2.4ghz inside now Sad .Or if you can unlock my bios with OC features I also really appreciatate it! Hey guys,
I would love to if anyone could unlock the bios of this little old ultrabook, because the fans are still going crazy on it and when they should go crazy, they won't. Also I would like to lower the overclock so it won't overheat as much.
Thanks a lot in advance and I will surely send a donut to the first one to manage the unlock!
