Dell 760 slic 2.1 request

I know that some dell 760s came with 2.0 and some came with 2.1 slics.  I have a dell restore disk for windows 7 32 bit that installs and activates on slic 2.1 tables.  I found a slic 2.1 bios for the dell 755 on this site.  Previously I had installed windows 7, and it did not ask for a key.  After a week or so, it
gave me an illegal copy message.  After much hunting, I found the 755 slic 2.1 bios, downloaded and installed it, and everything works.

I have one dell 760 with a known 2.0 slic table, and another one that I recently purchased, but have not fired up yet.  It has Vista on it, which I
detest.

I am looking for a slic 2.1 modded bios for the dell 760, so I can install the dell restore windows 7 disk on it.

As a matter of fact, I have a large number of older delld.. 745, 755 and 760's.  I have two 760's that had a non dell windows 7 installed, along with a number of other high end graphics programs.  I purchased this off ebay. Just for giggles and grins, I cloned the disk and stuck it into a 760 small form factor and it works perfectly.  I have tried the same disk in a 755 and a 760 and in both cases they do a hard reboot, just after the pulsing windows section of the boot.

People say  Hal problem, but I have installed the dell oem disk on the 755 and the hal is the same as the one on the 760.  I have no idea why this package worked on a 760 small form factor, and not on a second 760 full sized.  I am guessing it is maybe a bios issue.

I probably will be buying a 780 fairly soon, so may be looking for a 2.1 slic modified bios for it.

Whether or not the "new" 760 has a slic 2.1 already in it, I have at least two that do not (I have run a utility that identifies the bios slic table on them), (not RWE, some other one).

Dell E520 Unlock Request.

Newbie here. 

I recently received an old e520 with a Pentium D 925, 512mb of ram, and 80 gig HDD.  After powering it up and realizing how much of mistake my purchase was, I immediately went to Ebay and bought Xeon X3230 quad core at 2.66Ghz, 4 more gigs of ram, and plugged in a GTX 650. Plays games comfortably at 40 fps. 

But everyone want what they don't have. Ive been looking for days now on overclocking methods, and none seem to work. BSEL is out of the question as the MOBO only supports an FSB of 1066Mhz. Then I found this site. Ive found about 2 posts on here from about about 6 years ago. Said something along the lines of "You can't unlock a Dell's bios". 

I was wondering if there have been advancement in this field? Do you guys know of anyone who has unlocked a e520?

Hi there!

A'm very happy to have found this site bc i have a problem now with my HP laptop, i want to upgrade my wifi card bud it is not possible bc of blocked or whitelist bios, also,i want to have the advanced menu option so that i can change the sata or ahci mode bc am planned to install an SSD drive also, and now i can't access that value, so if someone can help me with modding my Bios i should be very happy, i have already look arround here on the site if i not could find an already modded Bios version like mine, bud i could find that, i will attach the specifications from my laptop,and also a link to my bios version from HP, it is SP54629- i hope that is enough information  for someone  to can help me, 
Sorry for my bad English, bud i am a Belgian retired old man that now lives in the Philippines and repairing computers and laptops is my hobby bud a Bios mod, that is Latin for me, that,s why i ask for help, i hope that someone will do that for me, and will already accept many thanks for that,

I've been playing around trying to get this for quite some time without any luck. Basically all I need is the ability to change my video memory from within my bios settings. I've searched these forums and haven't been able to find what I need and this request is really a last resort.

POS-PIG43BC: Need help to identify/mod this motherboard

A customer of mine gave me an old 775 PC, still working fine, and since I would like to make it a game machine for Half-life/halo FTP I've upgrade this machine with spare parts, an E8400, 8GB Ram and a 500GB HD and an old-but-still-good GTX 650Ti OC. Now I would like to push the CPU a little more.
The maker of the motherboard is the Positivo, a Brazilian brand that -normally- just rebrand motherboard fro MSI and Gygabyte. But in this case I didn't find any similar or equivalent motherboard design to this PIG43BC. Is a simple board, with a custom AMI bios with very few option on it, as normal for a wholesale computer. 
The AMI Bios string didn't help to identify the motherboard too:  64-0108-009999-00101111-051110-Eaglelake-1ADXP064-Y2KC. The manufacturer code 9999 isn't on AMI DB. I fear this board is produced internally. Here is how looks like:

I dumped the Bios and had a look with AMIBCP, but I didn't find any hidden option on CPU tab, and the filed showing CPU ratio a FSB (grayed out on bios) have just the options "refresh" and "not refresh", no "user" option.

However, there is an option for "ratio CMOS setting" set to supervisor but I don't know if it's safe to change it, and there is not a supervisor login on my bios then the option doesn't shows.

I would like to know if there is the possibility to add an option to overclock the FSB, since theoretically G43 motherboards supports FSB@1600. 
Do you think I can do any kind of mod here?

I want sp55430 with whitelist removed

I would like to replace the default Wi-Fi card shipped with my HP laptop (exact laptop model is G72-B27CL) in order to have 802.11ac support.
Original Wifi Card: Broadcom 4313 802.11 b/g/n
The new Wi-Fi card will be the Intel AC 7260 HMWG or Intel 7260 HMWG.R
The PC is running Windows 7 Home Premium in 64-bits.

The current BIOS installed is Hewlett-Packard F.48, 11/9/2011
SMBIOS Version 2.6

I flashed the sp55430/ F.48 whitelist removed. The new WiFi card works. On boot, I can't get the bios menu. I need to boot to USB.
Any ideas?

Hey guys,

I was hoping i could receive some help removing the wlan whitelist from my Lenovo G510s Touch laptop. The BIOS is an Insyde h20 and the BIOS Backup Tool gave me LENOVO-91CN28WW(V1.05).

Dell Inspiron N7110 problem with the function keys.

Hello after installing this mod Bios A13> http://www.mediafire.com/download/vgatww...LOCKED.rar occurs in me problem with function keys. More specifically writing apperance thing like this: I installed Windows from a prepared USB stick, the program Rufus v2,5, I set the GPT partitioning scheme for UEFI in this program. After finishing the installation of windows by pressing F2, which is responsible for on / off Wi-Fi, Windows jams in such a way that the laptop responds only to the Power button.

How do I install Windows no matter who or 7, or 8.1, or 10 in Scheme MBR partitioning for BIOS works correctly, function keys are working properly by pressing F2 Windows sticking as it does, how to Install Windows abovementioned GPT partitioning scheme.

Pleas to elaborate on the Mod - Bios so that the function keys work properly operated, and that the windows system does not crash or jammed after install Windows Scheme GPT partitioning for UEFI.

Hello! I was issued a company laptop with a horrible bios logo Dodgy  Is it possible to revert it back to original HP Logo? I am hoping for your favorable response. And also, if you can kindly teach me how to do it. although flashing the bios I can do (since I just download and execute whatever is on HP website Big Grin )
