If anyone is interested, I updated the GA-EP45T-USB3P rev 1.0 F2 BIOS with the latest Intel OROM 12.5.0.1815. and I'm testing it with RST 12.5.0.1066. After one day of testing, boots and sleeps fine. C1E and EIST was enabled in the BIOS but was inactive in windows till I physically performed a CLEAR BIOS on the MB, loaded the optimal defaults in the BIOS, and changed VCORE in the MIT from AUTO to NORMAL. CPU temperatures dropped from 49C to 33C with the core voltage idling at 1.1V vs the 1.34V

Station drivers has firmware updates for the NEC/RENESAS USB3 Controller uPD720200 (3028 and 3034). Original is 3021. If anyone updated the USB3 firmware, please let me know how that worked out

I have an nec powermate that has does not accept my graphics card when I install over 2gb of ram. I understand this could be a bios issue.

The details are:

Motherboard Make/Model: Gigabyte Bearlake OEM GA-TG33MH / Bearlake-2A79OG01C-00
Bios Version: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG

Note: you can open the bios using modbin6.

1. Can anyone update this Bios G15-D16 to include Intels latest Rom.
For my Intel® ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller
Driver 12.0.0.1013

2. With the new D20 i have a hot GPU, but it fix Sound Problems Undecided i think it´s BIOS for Nvidia 9800M GTX graphics and i have 9800M GTS is it posibal to chage it from D16 to D20?

Hello, and thanks for your good job.

I have tried the bios Acer Aspire T180 With OC 1234s282 and it runs good with the MCP61M-AM mother board equipped with a 5000+ Brisbane. I uses 226 MHz FSB with Super Talent Dram 800MHz running at 840MHz. (2x1GB but all other rams I have tried fail the POST ram test).
What is the difference with the ABIT bios?
Is it possible to use a 4 core processor like Phenom?
I have searched in this forum, and response is not so clear.

HP Pavilion dm4-3099se Unlock Request: Sata AHCI Mode, HPET Option

Hoping to be able to add an option for SATA controls (for example, being able to choose between IDE and AHCI) and also adding an HPET option. But really, the AHCI option is the big thing. And I'll take any other options that can be unlocked if possible. If I missed anything, please let me know.

I checked in Everest, and found out that it is probably the same BIOS as the rest of these:
Samsung 700Z3A/700Z4A/700Z5A/700Z5B

The BIOS version 15FD is attached.

Tried using Phoenix BIOS editor. Returned a no BCPs error. Googled, couldn't find anything.

I'd like to have hidden options such as CPU voltage, clocking, and if possible a BIOS option to turn off the ATI GPU and just to use the integrated Intel 3000HD.

I apoligize, I posted this in the completed section. I cannot delete the post, would a mod kindly move it?

Hello everybody

After unlocking advanced menu on this SVE1712 laptop, I've seen in advanced tab an extented ICC menu, but all option are greyed out ...

That's why I have tried to mod the ME firmware with the help of some topic seen here at techinferno and [url=

Here is the pinmod done , according to intel datasheet, 7 series chipset have the same bootstraps as 6... the soldering part was really tricky !!

It must be done to enable descriptor setting override and allow flashing a modded descriptor region with that sequence 0000FFFF0000FFFF1801FFFF from offset 60h

But after modifiying my ME region dump with FITC 8, I'm sticking with something interfering in bios, flashing the modded ME FW don't unlock icc menu in bios and also don't reflect my changes.
Have tried to remove and reinstall Intel xtreme utility withstill no access to any parameters, even BCLK ...

Any idea ? I have checked the PCH straps and ICC profile 0 should be loaded on boot via softstraps .
There is in the bios a setting in extented ICC that is set to "lock only dynamic ICC registers" and could be set also to " Lock all registers"

There is a DXE module called 'ICC overclocking' in Phoenix tool.
what I found interresting, is that "ICC lib"

I'm actually running the modded ME FW with no visible changes, the firmware have been also just updated from 8.1.0.1248 to 8.1.10.1286.

lenovo g560 password locked help

I know this may be the wrong section to ask, but I need help from someone who knows insydeh20 bios'es, and lenovo systems....

board: niwe2 la-5752p

I have a lenovo locked with a supervisor password... I have confirmed that removing both system battery and cmos battery do not clear the password, and it provides no hash code/hint, and can find no jumper to clear cmos type settings!!!.
I have also extracted the said platforms latest bios update http://download.lenovo.com/UserFiles/Dri...15_X64.exe and modified the platform.ini to clear the password upon flash... again no success...
I have the laptop schematics, an arduino, bus pirate, and the general know how to read/write eprom and flash chips, however i have been told on several occasions that the PW is stored on a *different* rom chip in the system.
So I am looking to answer the following:
1. would the PW be stored on the 4MBit flash chip(ie the bios flash) or a different chip(if this is the case, where?, I found the 4mbit rom, and a EC rom on the schematics http://hpwlabup.com/lenovo/hpwlab-lenovo15878e596c.pdf [that appears to be related to user io, like kb and touchpad])
2. how would i go about extracting(ideal), or resetting(acceptable) this password (maybe not an exact guide, but at least an idea...)
AND YES I READ DOGBERTS PAGE... hehe lol, I wish it was that easy...
