Hello everyone!
Would like to request, if possible of course, BIOS unlock for my Asus GX502GV (i7-9750H/RTX2060)

Few months ago my laptop updated to BIOS312, and in summer time it is running super HOT 🔥
ThrottleStop and undervolt options was locked and unavalible in BIOS312.
Asus support dont want to proved old BIOS308 and remove it from website Sad

I made BIOS dump with CSME System Tools v12 and got ME Info. Screenshot attached

Hello,

-Bios Version: R1140DD
-Bios Type : Insyde EFI
-CPU I5 4200U

I want to add nvme support to this laptop, and also modify the nvidia egpu vbios to increase maximum tdp, and increase the maximum OC limit to the same as nvidia 740m (the laptop uses 735m which is supposed to be the same chip).
Also if there are any other hidden settings that might be usefull to increase the performance that would be fantastic Smile .
I also want to learn how to do this, I tried to learn myself but I cant seem to find enough information to get going, I managed to extract my bios using CH341A chip programmer, because I could not find a way to make a dump of the bios, sony uses some strange compressed exe that flashes the bios but the contexts are weird (I will also attach that, I had to extract the exe and then zip it to a .zip because I cant upload exe files here).

Any help is appreciated, if nothing else I hope someone can point me in the right direction how to learn this Smile

It's a Toshiba Satellite Dynabook B552/F, also labelled Pro S850, from 2012. It has an Intel HM76 chipset, i5-3320M CPU, Intel integrated HD4000 graphics, Mini-PCIE 2.0. Now we're trying to install a desktop GTX970 as EGPU through a Mini-PCIE to PCIE x16 riser card, which does seem to work with a lot of laptops. The problem is that it doesn't recognize the GPU as Basic Display Adaptor, as it should, but as an Unknown Device.
I suppose this Toshiba laptop whitelisted the Wifi-card that came with it and blocks other M-PCIE cards. Am I right?
So now we need an unlocked BIOS, with more settings, so that we can make it recognize the EGPU on the Mini-PCIE port.

However, I can't find any modded BIOSes at all, only the original for A5A003305 FHFLSY1 mainboard at:

The current BIOS is version 6.10, EC Version 1.00. I don't know the manufacturer of the BIOS but the screens look very similar to those of L850 and C850 Insyde BIOS.

I did find a version 6.60 BIOS update for the B452, B552 and B652 models on the Japanese Toshiba support website at:

but unfortunately it doesn't work and gives an error: This computer is not supported. I did, however, manage to extract the Toshiba .COM BIOS-file, but I can't convert to .BIN by using ToshibaComExtractor. I only get a blank screen.

Can someone help me and my son unlock the advanced menu so we can install the EGPU properly and he can use his GTX970? My son is saving for a desktop, but it will probably be only next year that we're going to buy one for him.

I would like to use an eGPU(via m.2 ngff) with my laptop but my laptop would not recognice the gpu so I was looking for a solution for this problem and found out that it could be a whitelist whitch is preventing my laptop from connectiong with my gpu. So I bought a CH341A programmer and read the bioschip and now I hope someone can help me to mod my BIOS.

BIOS features without strings/flashing different AMI Bios

https://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/downloa...n-e32-p300 is latest BIOS update for the m93p tiny, and I wanted to make the hidden settings visible, and while I can do so there's a lot that are without strings so I'm clueless on what they do or what I'd even be changing within the BIOS.
Likewise, there is IT8731 HW Monitor which I enabled, except all the values report N/A disappointingly.

As for flashing a generic AMI BIOS to gain more features, how viable would that be?


So far the only thing I've modded is disabling whitelist using UEFIPatch with the following patch things:

HP Pavilion TG01-1000 Need help with downgrading CPU

Hi. 
Bought a used HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-1000a (2W847AV) because the previous owner harvested the GPU. So I wanted to take the Ryzen 5 4600G and upgrade my Ryzen 5 1600. 
The plan was that I wanted to use the 1600 and gift the PC to my cousin, but I had not thought about the motherboard would not be able to use other CPUs.
I have tried with the 1600 and a 3200G and both stops the PC from even booting to the BIOS.
So is there anyway to whitelist other CPUs or is this just game over for my plan?
I'm not afraid of abit of microsoldering if that is necessary to modifying the BIOS, I just need guidance if that is the case.

I have included the BIOS bin that is the one installed (tried updating just in case that would do something )

Hope there is a way to do this.


PS. When I used the 4600G in my MSI X570 motherboard it shows up as a 4400G both in bios and in CPU-Z but is has all 6 cores and 12 threads so, no problem there. HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-1000a (2W847V)HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-1000a (2W847AV)

Thats the option would like to be added on the bios. As of now Asus is still not providing fix for this issue and still ignoring the request of provide fix.

Fail during bios update.

I downloaded the bios from lenovo and extracted and tried to flash via USB but nothing happend, maybe i did something wrong.

It is possible to flash BIOS via USB for this model ?
Can you tell me all the steps for doing this ?
