[Request] ASUS VivoBook M513UA Ryzen 5700U Bios Mod / UMA Bufffer size unlock

Hello everyone !

I recently bought a Vivobook 15 OLED (M513, AMD Ryzen 5700u) 16GB RAM. everything is great but i cannot find in bios the UMA BUFFER option and is set by default to 512MB... i want to unlock the bios so i can increase it to 1-2GB if possible. I tried to look around in the bios file with some tools found on the forum but no luck. i hope maybe someone here has some ideeas on how to do this. i attached the bios flash file if needed.
PS:i'm willing to pay if anyone is able to get this unlock done.

Looking to do a small ITX build, and I'm hoping to get another PCIe card in there. At most, I'd need a 4x and a 4x PCIE3 link, but will likely only need 1x and 4x. Is this possible? What would I need to provide? Thanks so much to anyone who can help!

Hey Guys,

I have a HP Pavilion dv6. I’m trying to use a egpu, and I can’t get the device to register. I’ll a total noob to this stuff but I think it’s because of the BIOS isn’t letting the pcie port work. Anyone have something that might work? I’m more then willing to donate to get this worked out.

BIOS Version - F.06
BIOS vender - Insyde
Model - Pavilion 7010us
Processor - A8-4500m with Radeon
Factory Windows 7

Hi guys,

I have an old but still lovely Lenovo Thinkpad. This is my daily driver, i really like it. Unfortunately I have to replace its WIFI card. I tried to order a similar one, with only difference instead of 2,4GHz single channel, i bought a dual band wifi card. After I installed a new wifi card, I got 1802 error code, "Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the network card."
I cannot use my old one anymore, and i really need this new one.

Could you help me please with a modded bios?

Hi there,
I seek some help odding the BIOS of a ASRock Conroe945G-DVI.
Asrock seems to have thrown out their support for bios and other software. I maybe wrong. I had to dig the net for the P2.00 version to flash from DOS, it was quite hard and I eventually found it from driverscolletion site.
I noticed the DOS flasher is a single exe and I'm unable to unpack with 7zip.
Luckily, I got a TL866II-plus and I had a hard time to remove the plcc32 chip that was socketed because it was near some caps and the tool couldn't reach down below the chip.
I read the plcc32 chip, winbond w39v040fb and got the rom image out the chip. The tl866ii-plus software was being stubborn and wanted to be updated to 11.81. Still the horrible English translation there...
Ok, my idea now is to set custom cpu fan speeds for the current 3 settings FAST/MIDDLE/SLOW under Quiet Fan. I have now set to SLOW but... the fan is just noisy still. I would like to mod the PWM or whatever values or remove all and set for example 9 speeds.
I have mmtool 3.26. Someone could help? please and thanks

Hello,

I have a Sony Vaio VPC-Z21V9E laptop on which I would like to access the Advanced menu in the BIOS.

BIOS version: R0173H5

Back in the golden days of the Notebook Review forums, pyr0 had created a BIOS hack for this laptop. It was based on the previous version of the BIOS (R0172H5 if I'm not mistaken). However, all the download links to it were dead in the past years, and unfortunately, as of today, the whole forum has been taken offline too.

If anyone could help with providing me an unlocked BIOS, I would be very thankful!

Hello, i have Acer Aspire 5755G with Insyde bios, P5WE0121 board. There are many unlocked bioses already but I want more updated and Intel ME disabled too. I tried myself disabling with me_cleaner tool, and i flashed successfully too but I'm not sure since I have no knowledge, me_cleaner may be wrong and can't disable on unlocked ones. Thank you so much.

[Help request] Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED SA with a wrong unlocked BIOS

Hi,

I bought a second hand laptop - Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED SA.
It mostly works as expected but it has an issue:
Whenever I make ANY change in BIOS, the built-in display remains blank but a display connected over HDMI works fine once booted into Windows.
Windows in this case shows that HD 630 video is not working properly so everything is output via GTX 1660.
The only way out this is state is to shutdown, disconnect the battery and CMOS battery for a few seconds.
After that the built-in dispaly starts working fine again (and after sleep, hybernated, shutdown) if I don't makr any BIOS changes again.

I suspect that a wrong unlocked BIOS was flasded into the laptop and based on what BIOS shows, from a different Gigabyte Aero 15 line - from Classic 15 YA.
Also, I see BIOS shows ME Firmware SKU as Undetified and I have a suspecion that this is the cause of the problem with the built-in display/HD 630.

I have a flash programmer CH341A so I can reprogram the flash but I don't know what I should reprogram it with as I understand I cannot just download the latest BIOS for the laptop model and write it into the flash.

So I tried upgrading my Qosmio x300’s wifi card but it rejects a dozen different cards, I was wondering if the whitelist could be removed so I could upgrade to AC 7260. Thanks!

BIOS: INSYDE CORP. version 6.80  embeeded controller version 6.0
I have trying to connect egpu  via mpcie slot originally used for wifi card The egpuio link but I have found the same problem as stated in the link. Bıos closes mpci-e port ıf I connect something other than wifi card. EGPU.Io says(if you go to link and  read 5.i ) ıt's a whitelisting problem and ı checked as the site instructed I boot with wifi card put system  into sleep and changed to egpu voila egpu got recognized.
So can somenody look my bios for wifi whitelisting or other strict rules causing this problem.
