I need a modified insyde BIOS Acer Aspire 5720 (no sufix) BIOS v1.45 with SLIC 2.1

I understand that this has been done before but all of the links seem to have timed out and it is not in the archive. However the infor mation reqired is attached.

Hi all, I would like to replace the stock wifi card to a wifi card that OS X support natively. But the problem is with all HP/Compaq laptop, there is this wifi error. Any kind soul can help me remove this whitelist? Thank you very much

Hello!
I'm new in modifying bios, and have a broken wireless chip in my laptop, so I need to replace it with Intel N-130.

But I found that Lenovo has whitelist and my G480 does not allow to use me N-130.

bios version is 5ECN40WW(V3.06)

Hi, I have an old acer 5515 laptop and i want to install an am2+ proc and is it possible to add cpu microcode?

I have successfully moded it before installing a dual core am2 athlon but i have to do a water cooling Frankenstein style  

now i got a spare am2+ athlon from a dead pc so i want to use it in the acer but it just heats up no boot.

what are the steps to do it? can it be done?

Does my BIOS support external monitor?

Hello folks.
Spent one full evening searching& reading net, still can't find answer.
If somebody can answer my question ...

I have:
     LG R410-G.APM1A9 Notebook
     Insyde QL6L3B92 BIOS
     Broken screen =(

Does this BIOS support use of an external monitor? If so, any suggestion how can i get it work?

BIOS VERSION: F.15 Insydeh2o


i really want to have access to advanced settings like cpu/gpu over/under-clocking, dedicated video memory (to increase/decrease the amount of it).

right now there are NO options like this at all. you can't set anything in the standard bios except for "quiet boot" and that standard stuff

Hiya. With any luck I'd like to get into the advanced options tab.

I got speed stepping to work on my hackintosh but now the CPU's running much hotter when it's in the higher turbo states, so it's actually performing worse than it was before... Ha! Anyway, As I understand it I need to try and change my turbo ratio settings.

Hello, I have been trying to do this for a few months now, and found this forum so hoping someone can help, I need to access some advanced settings in the BIOS, more precisely I need to do this.

◾Change HPET to ON & set HPET Mode as 64 Bit
◾Set SATA as AHCI
◾Enable ‘Executive Disable Bit’ (also known as XD Technology)
◾Enable ‘Virtualization Technology’ (also known as VT Technology)
◾USB Legacy to ON
◾If UEFI available turn it off & Enable legacy Boot

I have tried everything, I even intended on flashing but can find trace of someone with a flashed BIOS, so I really am hoping you can help me, Thank You. Here are all my computer details.
