Hello all, dear friends) Please, help me - i need to unlock "off" option for Intel HD 2000 videocard to off her (and AMD too). I need only discrete (AMD) videocard at my notebook. As far as I know, it is called as advanced menu. Sorry for my bad english))

Laptop does not turn back on after a flash

Bough a motherboard (alibaba) to replace one that was not working, it's a MX-237, everything was set up, but it detected my battery as not original, so I flashed a modded one from here (didn't work), then I flashed one from Sony (R2087H4).

Now it doesn't even power on, no lights, no fan, nothing comes up or changes when I press power button.

Hi,

I would like to ask you to unhide the two hidden forms (or at least the advanced menu), becouse now my netbook constantly runs the fan at full speed, and can not be changed.
I have tried to use Jakob's j-bios tools without success. After it let me choose which form I want to replace, I can not choose the form to replace with.

As currently it´s forced enabled.

I am new to this, so i don´t know what can be done.

Writing SMBIOS DMI strings in WinPE

Does anyone know of a way to write DMI strings (model number, serial, OEM string) to the SMBIOS on UEFI machines within WinPE?

I have tools to boot into DOS and do this for specific vendors, but I'm wandering if there is a generic UEFI command I can use in Windows PE (Win8).

The target notebooks have various brands of UEFI Firmware (BIOS) such as Insyde, AMI, Phoenix, but they all support and run in pure UEFI (no BIOS emulation).
hmm perhaps this function?

I have to be honest if i knew it takes this much effort to upgrade the wifi card I wouldn't have bothered buying it and the laptop.

Tried following the tutorials but would say its a bit above my knowledge and very vague + a few errors in the process that totally puts me of doing it myself. Don't want to brick a new laptop.

Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I have a supertalent corestore MV in an x200 tablet and I just need this device to be bootable via option rom. Thinkpads have the phoenix BIOS, i believe.

This BIOS had the whitelist removed.

Hi!

I would like to have my BIOS Whitelist removed, and unlocked, so I can access advanecd menus like temperature settings, and integrated graphics. IGFX is very important to me, because I want to run Mac OS X on my G570, and the Radeon HD6370M card is not really compatible with the OS. The CPU is an i5 (2410m) so it has the HD3000 GPU inside.

Medion x7811/MSI GX740 (MS-1727) bios unlock to accept SSD in AHCI

Hi,

I have a Medion X7811 (similar to MSI GX740) what I'd like to upgrade with an OCZ Vertex 4 SSD but the laptop doesn't recognize it if AHCI is set for SATA.
Please somebody modify my attached bios to accept my new SSD.
