HP Pavilion dv6-2010sa Corrupted BIOS

Recently, my HP Pavilion dv6-2010sa has suffered from BIOS corruption failure. I have tried flashing BIOS. It seems to work at first, beeping each second reading the files on USB or whatnot, but then after, it beeps every 8 or so seconds for about a minute, maybe more maybe less, and then once it's stopped beeping, it just sits there with the LEDs on and the fan spinning. What does this beeping every 8 seconds mean, and how can I solve this problem and properly flash the BIOS?
