Hello, I'm new to this forum so if this is the wrong place I am sorry.
So recently some games have started running a little slow and I would like to fix that. my motherboard is an ASUS M2N68-LA NARRA3 and my cpu is an amd phenom 8400. I read that my cpu can be unlocked to a quad core and was wondering if my motherboard/bios were able to do that. So firstly can my mobo/bios unlock my tri core to a quad core? I know i will have to flash my bios so. Is that really risky, can it just break it or do i have to do something wrong? Assuming i can unlock to a quad core, will that improve games much at all, right now saints row 3 and dayz are the 2 games that run too slow for me. Thats all i want to know for now I think.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
