Going to be a really long shot here but I was wondering if anyone has or can mod a bios for this laptop (it's really old) to support AHCI?
I just got a SSD for it and something's very wrong.. it's even slower than the hard drive it's going to replace!
It must be the AHCI setting but I cannot see it anywhere in the bios to change it.
