Hello Everyone,
When I bought my motherboard I had no idea it was missing a couple of pretty important BIOS features.
What I'm trying to do is overclock my i5 2500k on an ASUS P8Z68-V LE which is harder then I had first predicted.
I'm here to ask if it's possible to crack the ASUS BIOS???
Specifically to unlock the PLL Voltage setting as this is the only setting I am missing in order to lower my necessary Vcore.
I'd love to be able to set the LLC manually as well but the PLL Voltage is my main concern.
Here is the the BIOS version from this website which I'm currently running, It would be great if somebody could let me know just how out of luck I am lol .
Thanks,
WildBill.
EDIT --
Not so urgent anymore, I've just managed to get a somewhat stable(hasn't crashed yet) 4.5Ghz OC with 1.384Vcore, I'd still like to get a hold of that PLL setting and allow myself to get a lower Vcore but I can live with 4.5Ghz.
Currently 1 hour into a custom Prime95 torture test which I expect to fail but it's positive.
Hope someone can get me informed
Cheers,
WildBill.
