I know and have seen it confirmed that the latest bios A11 for the 330 will recognize a Xeon E5440 but its slightly bigger brother the E5450 isnt the case.
I can boot and get the "CPU is not supported" and windows boots fine, just only have 2 cores active.
I have tried to do this myself but trying to find the correct locations for the microcodes is a bit tough for me in a hex editor.
Hopefully someone has done this one before. All help is greatly appreciated.
The chipset is intel G31 and bios is pheonix i beleive.
