Hello all,
First of all the weirdest thing about this situation is that my laptop arrived with a newer version bios than is available straight from gigabyte themselves. As I can't seem to find a changelog anywhere (Is there a way to find this?) I'm unsure if it's even possible to use the bios I am supplying as it may be rejected as being too old a version. Anyway, here is what is bugging me about my laptop, the AMI bios that is included is about the most barebones I have ever seen. There is zero scope for any teaking bios side and there is problems getting anything other than a mild undervolt to stick with XTU. More improtantly I'd like to be able to enable XMP to make use of the 3200 sticks the laptop ships with instead of being stuck with 2933.
MEGA for the BIOS FB02 & EC F002 downloaded from gigabytes website for this model. Installed is FB04 & EC F002. If this wouldn't work I can extract my current bios and post that.
Thanks in advance.
