Please excuse me if I'm posting in the wrong thread, or this has already been accomplished. I've been searching these forums for the past couple days and have still yet to find what I am looking for.![Huh]( "Huh")
My request is actually two-folded regarding my HP Pavilion DV2000. The first and my main concern is to disable the Whitelist so I may add a new Mini PCIe wireless NIC. I've included what I believe is needed to modify the BiOS if the Whitelist can only be modified. (If more info is needed, please let me know, and I'll do my best to accommodate quickly)
The second part of my request, and one that may not be as accommodating, I would like to be able to upgrade my HDD to a SSD. However, I have no option to configure AHCI in BiOS.
Would it be possible to modify the BiOS for both? If not, I'd be very happy with just being able to use my new Wireless NIC.
